Well, downgrading my last review. Again, no real problem with the food, but the service at this location is absolutely horrible. They rush you, they're impatient, and seem annoyed when you have a question. When I asked for a receipt, I was told they can't give me one for some reason. I asked if I can get one emailed or texted...nope. And, to top it all off, they were advertising the"chicken al pastor"...well I was told they don't have it yet, but it's available on line...not sure how that works but seeing the signs we're up and I was at the counter, the suggestion made no sense. Not happy...I can go anywhere for food, even another Chipotle. The 2stars are for the food and absolutely nothing else. I'm kinda done with location...shame it's so close. read more

Service at this location is sub par. Stingy with the protein in the dish. I don't drink soda or any other sweet beverages- I Asked for a cup of water and was told NO. I asked can you sell me water ? And was told 3.15 for a cup of water. Asked for manager and was told there was not one on duty. I didn't think a restaurant could deny you a cup of water. Visited the store at 9pm on 11/14/25. There were 3 people on line. The employees were more concerned about their cell phone activity than helping the customers. Took them 5 minutes to help the first customer. Rice and food everywhere on the counter top where they prepare the food. None of the tables were cluue cean. It was obvious that none of the employees were supervised. If there were to be an impromtu inspection, this site would have failed. After reading other reviews that were recent, and nothing has changed, not sure why you would want the reviewers to contact you. It is up to management to make the changes to their staff, bring in peole who value customers and provide quality food instead of stale rice and protein. read more

I ordered a bowl and my wife ordered a burrito. Last time we will order form this place. Food is expensive and terrible. Extremely small portion of food. For the very small amount of protein in our orders what we did have was chewy steak, we both enjoyed cold stale rice which was less than a half a cup of rice portion wise. We added corn and the fajita veggies and I received approximately 2 pieces of onion, 1 pepper, and 5 pieces of corn. half of the bowl had a sprinkle of cheese and then they dumped watery sour cream to top it all off. My coworker and I came here for lunch. Overall, I'm not a huge chipotle fan...but it was decent. We both placed mobile orders as we wanted "online only" orders. Quesadillas. I don't understand why this is an online only item. Anyway I ordered mine with chicken al pastor. The chicken had good flavor. I wouldn't consider it a quesadilla though. It wasn't overly cheesy. I am not someone who automatically thinks that you should believe a poor review on Yelp. But in the case of Chipotle in Lindenhurst.... believe all of these one star reviews. I live not too far from this location, and there was a lot of buzz when the town was finally getting a Chipotle location, about five years ago. I don't know why there was so much excitement at that time, but there was. Well, then this location opened, and the excitement has dissipated substantially. It's just like any other Chipotle location, ambiance-wise, nothing special. But something really sets this location apart, and not in a good way. I have been here several times, and nothing ever seems to get any better. I thought by now they would finally have their act together, but apparently not. They are constantly running out of things, whether its tortillas, cheese, corn, etc., or they are giving out clumped up rice and stale chips. The food is often served cold, and the tables are never clean. The service is usually quick, but with poor product to put forward who even cares about quick service? gave this location one last shot, and with this im finally convinced id rather drive 20 minutes to guac time. employees are extremely stingy, as in i payed for extra chicken today and they gave me maybe an extra 4 or 5 small cuts. this isn't the first time. competitors are providing bigger portions of protein for less money, chipotle really oughta make an effort to keep up. also, every time i place an order or pick up i notice the dining room looks a mess and is actually quite grimy at times. i used to consider chipotle a step up from fast food but now, it looks and tastes like just another quick eatery. and not always a convenient one at that. read more

We've eaten here multiple times and I'm now questioning why I keep punishing myself. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but there are consistent repeated issues with this particular Chipotle. I'm starting to lose count how many times we found multiple hard plant fibers in our burrito bowls. Today my wife got 5 to 6 hard, sharp plant fibers, and the corn salsa was dry and wasn't actually seasoned. I can excuse an occasional mistake but the plant fibers are a real issue here. read more

I got a burrito and chips n guac. The chips were rock hard. I swear these have to be 3 day old chips. What an embarrassment to actually serve this to a paying customer! I or my kids could easily chip a tooth or choke on them. It's not like it's closing time, it's sunday 5pm right around dinner time August 25. So annoying it ruins half the meal because the guac is not as good by itself (the guac also is tasteless today, almost feels watered down). I don't understand why I keep going back, but since I do, like an idiot, I have to give them 2 stars. It's a guessing game every time you go. A single serving of protein is a joke; it's honestly laughable sometimes. So, automatically, you need to order double protein, and depending on the day, sometimes triple! I finally had enough and said I'm not doing it anymore. I went less than a mile away to "Taco Joe's" for the first time. I walked in, asked for a bowl with steak to see what a single serving looked like, and couldn't believe my eyes. Absolutely shocked at the portion size, I figured it was a $25 steak bowl. And, as a joke for the comparison, I asked for double steak. She then threw on a massive scoop on top of the other massive scoop, and now I thought I was looking at a $30 bowl. No lie, it was 4-5x what you get here at Chipotle. I don't know if I got lucky, and I will test this again tomorrow. I'm going to go as far as ordering from both places and weighing out the protein just for comparison. I didn't eat 30% of Taco Joe's bowl when normally I leave Chipotle hungry.But like I said, this place is always busy, so maybe it makes sense to cheat everyone out of the meat. Everything had black charcoal bits with an extremely overpowering burnt taste (almost like they never cleaned the grill). Especially the chicken and chips. I really tried to give this chipotle a chance. I've been going there since they opened and it's always been hit or miss. I was understanding at first when they were brand new and still working the kinks out, but it's been over a year and it's worse than ever. It's at no fault of the young kids that work there. Clearly management is lacking. The chicken looks like something I might feed my dog, that is if you even get any. I paid for extra chicken for my husbands meal and got less than the regular portion. I was right on time to pick up my order and only live 10 min away, ate it right away when we got home and it tasted like it had been sitting on a sidewalk for 3 days. Chipotle always has fresh food and it's pretty tasty. It's one of the healthier fast food options. I've never had issues with the food at this location. Sometimes the order ahead is backed up and you have to wait longer than hoped, but they have always gotten my orders correct. Good spot for lunch or dinner. read more
