My wife and I shared a Giuseppe original crust pizza, which is thicker (but not too thick!) and satisfies our mid-Western tendencies to eat pizza with a knife and fork. We had the pepperoni topping. Guiseppe's uses cup pepperoni which are a bit spicier and curl up with crispy edges when cooked. Bellissimo! Our friend thoroughly enjoyed his Rustic Flatbread that included pepperoni, sausage and peppers. It was also made with a thicker, softer crust rather than a thin, crispy crust. Also bellissimo! Our other friend had a delicious burger and fries. Giuseppe's offers several varieties of 8 oz burgers (or two 4 oz smash burgers) with different cheeses and toppings. As an admitted burger lover, I vowed to try one of these on my next visit. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We felt welcomed and appreciated as guests. Although we were seated at a booth in the bar area, it wasn't noisy and we could enjoy our dinner conversation. We liked that the entire restaurant is non-smoking. Giuseppe's has 3 locations, including two in Henderson and one on Durango Dr in LV. It's good to know that we can select from a full range of pizzas, pastas, Italian entrees and even burgers within a short drive of the Strip. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink.
