As of last year, they have jacked their prices up to an absurd amount, not necessarily their fault, but a specialty combo plate used to only cost $13 and now it's $18 in short time. Not a huge difference but it just doesn't feel like value anymore. A more fancier restaurant maybe, but not at an average Chinese place in a plaza despite how small issues she had would seem. I've had their General Gau's chicken and I requested it extra crispy and extra spicy. I do not know the issue she had with it as it is prepared mostly the same at other restaurants I have been to in Mass and out of state. I gave this place three stars for their food and menu, and another star for their service and friendliness. The food is average. It's not bad by no means, but don't expect some extravagant meal. Everything is fast, simple and quick. On the plus it tastes good as well and the portions are large size. Even their lunch menu. It is worlds different from the previous owners as I ate here a lot living near by. Under the old owners, the food wasn't always fresh and didn't always taste good. It was a consistent issue. Not with the new owners. I would agree that their chicken teriyaki is a bit big portions and I have gotten it a bit to garlicy. I request that they add less garlic and they do it for me. I would say this place is consistent with their food and it doesn't taste bad at all. I would highly recommend going to them. They don't really do anything different than most regular Chinese places, but that isn't such a bad thing. Prices and decent, food is good, and there are large portions. I would recommend at least trying them once and seeing for yourself.

No joke, I almost walked out but I live across the street and had eaten there many times without getting sick, and I already ordered my food anyway. The food was disgusting. I WAS SO MAD. It was around 830 and my Pupu for one tasted it was an hour old. The chicken fingers were dried out. The boneless spare ribs were bone dry. The rangoon was cold. The ambience here is phun AF and komfy AF. A bar area in front loaded with locals and much joviality here. Keno and scratch tix add to the festivus happening here. Moey and I opted to sit in the dining area which was somewhat spartan but still quite nice with white table clothes and a bit of minimal bric-a-brac decor peppered about. The drink menu is HUGE and prices are very reasonable. I was quite smitten that not only did they have the usual array and Tiki Cocktails but they also have a HUGE list of classic American old-people favs such as Rob Roys and Stingers and Wallbangers and many, many more as well as a list of straight-up boozes of cordials and bourbons and tequilas and everything. This "dwink" menu was perfect for a noon-time lunch session. My latest jam is to pair old-people cocktails like Martinis and Manhattans and Sidecars with my Chinese food. Admittedly, I usually first "practice up" by starting things off with a tiki drink or two and then I will get the ball rolling by proceeding into the old-people cocktails. It works quite well for me. The phood menu was the usual Moo-Goos and Moo-Shoes and Kow Pangs, etc. Rather than bore you with details let's just say that all phood was hot n' fresh and scrump AF, bro. Everything took care of business and then some... The waitress was wicked nice and a total honeybunch. All smiles and on the ball. In short everything is wicked pissah and then some... HIGHLY recommended to all YELPers and non YELPers alike. Peep it out! NOTE: This was the best eggroll I've had. Krispy AF and great texture and flav.

I was hoping they would return and they did, and offer delivery service now! I love their fried rice. I think it's my favorite in the area. I haven't found anywhere near me that has rice as good and having lived in the Gloucester area for years I can say nothing there compares to their awesome rice. We called before their opening hours on Saturday to double check that we could order delivery later and they were kind enough to take our order right then and not make us wait until they officially opened. I thought that was really nice customer service. We gave our order and within 20 minutes the delivery arrived. Easy and the delivery man was really pleasant. My only complaint, and honestly this could be our fault as I don't know how old the menu was that my mother had on hand, was they got the order wrong. They had repeated back the combo plate numbers so I know they took it down right but I wonder if the menu changed. I wanted a combo with fried shrimp but instead got one with a bit of everything - a pretty traditional combo with chicken wings, teryiaki, chicken fingers and the pork strips. I didn't love the pork strips but everything else was tasty. Very filling as the portions are huge. My mother decided to plan her weekend meals around the food and ordered two dishes. The chicken chow mein she loved. She thought the egg foo young was just okay. We also somehow ended up with 4 egg rolls. I think she may have accidentally ordered them but no complaints as I love their egg rolls. We also got a side of crab rangoon which was very flavorful. Price wise and portions are amazing. You get a ton of food for the money. And I was very impressed with their great customer service this time!

One of the better ones out there. More of a good meal than a great one, but still good enough to cling onto the 4.

My boyfriend liked the food, but I'm not really a fan. We got pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, bone-in ribs and Thai chicken teriyaki. We called to place a takeout order and went by the menu on their website. I wish there were photos or better descriptions for all dishes. Sweet & Sour Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and it is a main dish (not an appetizer), but this was served as chicken fingers with sauce on the side. While I liked the flavor of chicken fingers and the chicken wasn't dry, I am disappointed that it is the same as ordering chicken fingers appetizer, just paying more. Thai Chicken Teriyaki (chicken skewers) is another favorite of mine. While this was ok, I wouldn't get it again. The chicken was cooked right and wasn't dry, but I didn't get much flavor besides something acidic (like vinegar based marinade). It didn't taste bad, but somewhat bland. It came with peanut sauce, which was completely frozen and also looked very unappetizing, so I didn't even try it. Pork lo mein and Bone-in ribs were not for me at all. They both had weird taste/aftertaste, so I only tried them and can't comment much. My boyfriend seemed to like both ok.
