Vegetables were fresh and crunchy. At $7.95, the lunch special was a very good deal. Dumplings and egg drop soup were good. We didn't care for the hot and sour soup. For strip mall, carryout Chinese food, prices, packaging and service were all very good. The only minus were the bags of fried noodles that came with the soups- more soggy than crispy. I ordered delivery. $58 for two entres. King Pao chicken was good but, omg, the beef and broccoli, very bad. the " beef" was a slimy paper thin pale meat. it was so gross. two of us tried it and it was sickening. I got the imperial chicken with rice , egg roll and an order of crab ragoons. The ragoons were delicious as they were fresh and you get a lot for the price. 10 for only 7.99. The imperial chicken was a disappointment as I was expecting a more crispy texture but they tasted like they were coated in a doughy batter of some sort . I didn't even finish them. Ordered takeout, they said 30 mins and it was ready when I got there. Had house special egg foo young and Happy Family. Egg foo young came with very flavorful brown sauce. The phone number didn't work but the food did! Tried to call but the phone number was not connecting. Drove over and ordered some garlic chicken, egg rolls, hot and sour soup and added another szechuan chicken. When the brought us the order I realized they gave large portions. The food was really good and the lady waiting on us was very polite and kind. My wife and I ate the food for two days. We enjoyed all of it and returned a few days later for more soup and egg rolls. Definitely the best takeout I've found. When you guys were out of town I tried several different places even in Venice and none of them came close to your food! The sweet & sour chicken and bourbon chicken are my favorites and the fried rice is like legit fried rice with pork and vegetables, not like other takeout places. We love you guys!! read more

Bought lunch for four today. We ordered egg foo young, 2 beef broccoli, General Tso chicken with 4 egg drop soups for takeout. When we got home the soups were placed on top of the egg foo young gravy, & there was a total mess in the bottom of the bag. Over half the gravy was lost. Normally go to Koo Kitchen but was a long day and this was closer. Facility was clean and lady was very polite and helpful but thought it was unusual for a Chinese restaurant to be not very busy. She said order would take 15 to 20 minutes but was ready much faster. We ordered Sweet and Sour Pork with brown rice, wonton soup, and a chicken chow mein platter with egg roll and brown rice. When I paid for the order I thought it was rather low but didn't question it. When we opened the package there was no soup. Called the restaurant and was told she forgot, sorry. The chow mein had about three very small pieces of chicken and the vegetables were very soggy. The sweet and sour pork was very hard and all of the brown rice was very very dry. Unexpected but really pretty good. Had Garlic Chicken, Hunan Beef and house noodles (thin rice noodles). Pot stickers were filled with beef - was a nice change. Very friendly family owners. Great change of pace from the breaded/fried seafood all around you. Menu pictures are a bit old and "unappetizing" color, but don't let that detract you. read more
