Okayyyyy Kore Korean BBQ, I see you. We ordered the suggested meal for 4 plus several appetizers, and while the price was definitely giving "we're doing this tonight," there was SO. MUCH. FOOD. We left very full and still had leftovers. We were with family who brought their infant, and I'll be honest, this is definitely not a kid-friendly restaurant. That's probably my only real downside. The baby situation made the dinner a little more challenging, but honestly, for the price and the overall vibe, I think this is much more of a date night or adults-only kind of place. We also had several cocktails, and the whole atmosphere was super relaxing but still vibey. Service was excellent. Our server was SO sweet and genuinely made the experience feel special. Overall: expensive, a ridiculous amount of food, and I would absolutely go back and recommend to my friends and family. Just making it an adults-only outing next time. read more

All I could say was WOW it's perfect amount of food for all 5 of us. At first we thought it's not enough... but little did we know... we ended up super full and to force ourselves to finish the last 2 plate of meat. The meat were very fresh! The water as always tasted weird so I got a soda. The whole experience was amazing and the server was super nice. We went during weekday but there were no one there in afternoon. The only problem was the grill was not strong enough for some reason so the food took so much longer to cook. The server even warned us at first and offered us a cast iron to cook faster. Which we say no at the beginning but yeah she was right it's very slow. And once she added the cast iron it cooked so much faster. So losing one star for this inconvenience, the other time we came we didn't have this problem. read more

So I'm going to highlight this as 50/50 depends on your server for certain. Sofia is amazingly attentive, no issues with allergies and properly explaining ingredients or finding out and being efficient with time management. The quality of the food here is super good! I had the ribeye and picahna, and both were perfect. The restaurant's very comfortable, as common with other higher end bbq places. Kore Steakhouse in Lakewood Ranch used to be one of my absolute favorite spots and honestly one of the reasons I felt so aligned moving to Lakewood Ranch. It was my number one restaurant for a long time. I loved bringing friends and family here because every experience felt special and consistently amazing. We came for Valentine's Day, expecting that same level of quality, and unfortunately it was not up to par at all. The experience felt disappointing compared to what Kore used to be. The meat quality and overall ambiance have definitely gone downhill in my opinion. It almost feels like since the owner has shifted more focus to Kuro Sushi, there is less presence and attention at Kore. I could be wrong, but the difference was noticeable. We were honestly so sad leaving because this was a place we genuinely loved and recommended often. After so many amazing memories here, having such a poor experience was really disappointing. read more

The food was pretty good, but my jabchae was overcooked and a little gummy. They give you a lot of food and it was enjoyable. I expected more banchan and so was a little disappointed in that. Had a first date here last night, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Sebastian was our waiter, and he couldn't have been more welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. Lack of banchan (only 3 side dishes) is poor execution. Korean bbq needs side dishes to cleanse and revitalize the pallet. The way the meat is cut is non traditional. Kot sal is supposed to be thin and well marbled. It came out like an American style steak The galbi Sal should be thinner as well Good thing is the quality of the galbi sal is good Rice needs to be improved. It doesn't have the moistness that is traditional Korean rice Service is lacking as well. No help cooking. The traditional open net pan couldn't get hot enough so I had to switch to a griddle If they are trying some kind of fusion. She really made the experience amazing and we highly recommend requesting her! Food: Everything was high quality and fresh. 4 people shared the Nice to meat you with an extra wagyu, egg soufflé, japchae and it was the perfect amount of food. Hot barley tea went well with the meal along with the 3 dipping sauces. Ambience: Stunning decor and nice setup with the bbq grills inside. Branding and utensil ware are beautiful and luxe. The tables were nicely spaced apart and the bar area is cute as well. They have a small outdoor seating area in front too. Our first time here was great! Our waitress was super helpful explaining everything, the menu, sauces, how to cook, anything we needed, she was there for us and amazing. The restaurant was busy but still quiet and private which we both really appreciate for a date night. The grill experience is fun to make a date night a slowed down and relaxing experience. I really liked pausing to stop and enjoy the time with my husband while our meat cooked. We will definitely revisit when we feel we want a slowed down evening! read more

Our server was sweet and helped with questions and decisions. Cons: There wasn't enough for my son. We chose the Butcher's Pride. The corn was only eaten by me. It was delicious so no complaints there. My son had most of the meat (chop, filet, and strip), but they were small portions. The main meal was done and we both were left hungry. We were appeased with our dessert of table s'mores, but not full. Also, the table s'mores is a bit uncomfortable because the server had to stay there to toast our marshmallows then watch us eat them before we were ready for the next one. I can't say enough about this Restaurant we were able to go for lunch for our 28th wedding anniversary and we served by us very cordial and professional young lady named Ann. She was our chef as well. Everything we had was phenomenal. We opted for the chef's experience so we didn't cook our meal ourselves, but everything that she cooked for us was Amazingly delicious. I think my absolute favorite was the filet mignon and the Wagyu beef tartare. Oh my gosh I just love the ambience and on that particular day during that time it was fortunate for us that we were the only people there lol I hear that dinner gets pretty crowded, but we had such a great time.
