First experience at an upscale Korean bbq place. Pretty good selection of meats and the quality is so much better than the typical kbbq place. For a party of four, we ordered the Kore Experience which included a couple appetizers, side dishes and several different cuts of beef and pork. Overall the food was great, service was a bit lacking and slow to clear plates and clean and modern ambiance.

Such a good new addition to LWR. Definitely recommend reservations as it's a smaller space but can still accommodate large parties. Service is excellent with Kate as our waitress. Attentive and courteous. Ambience is beautiful and classy. Food is 10/10. The meat selections are diverse and excellent quality. Quality over quantity is highly regarded here. The "nice to meat you" option is our fave and the wagyu!! Jap chae great as well. Give this place a try if you're in the mood for quality KBBQ & tasty food!

Honestly all 10/10! Came for dinner on a Saturday, with a reservation. Service: Kate was our server and was incredibly attentive and friendly. Very efficient and helpful throughout our dinner! She really made the experience amazing and we highly recommend requesting her! Food: Everything was high quality and fresh. 4 people shared the Nice to meat you with an extra wagyu, egg soufflé, japchae and it was the perfect amount of food. Hot barley tea went well with the meal along with the 3 dipping sauces. Ambience: Stunning decor and nice setup with the bbq grills inside. Branding and utensil ware are beautiful and luxe. The tables were nicely spaced apart and the bar area is cute as well. They have a small outdoor seating area in front too. The restaurant is smaller than it seems, so I'd recommend a reservation especially if coming on the weekend.

Our first time here was great! Our waitress was super helpful explaining everything, the menu, sauces, how to cook, anything we needed, she was there for us and amazing. The restaurant was busy but still quiet and private which we both really appreciate for a date night. The grill experience is fun to make a date night a slowed down and relaxing experience. I really liked pausing to stop and enjoy the time with my husband while our meat cooked. We will definitely revisit when we feel we want a slowed down evening!

The child wanted Korean for his birthday dinner. So that is what he got. Pros: This place is beautifully set up. I kept wanting to go around and look at it all. Our server was sweet and helped with questions and decisions. Cons: There wasn't enough for my son. We chose the Butcher's Pride. The corn was only eaten by me. It was delicious so no complaints there. My son had most of the meat (chop, filet, and strip), but they were small portions. The main meal was done and we both were left hungry. We were appeased with our dessert of table s'mores, but not full. Also, the table s'mores is a bit uncomfortable because the server had to stay there to toast our marshmallows then watch us eat them before we were ready for the next one. It was a good experience, but not sure we will return. 15.11.2024

Went here for a girls night with my cousin. Had a reservation on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Upon arriving a few minutes early, they offered us a table right away. The hostess Skyla was very friendly and professional. Our server Anasofia was also very kind and helpful in explaining how to use the barbecue grill and cut the meat as we had not done this before. She was also great at making recommendations and explaining the menu so we knew how to order. The drink we ordered, I think called Botanic, contained yogurt and was delicious and refreshing. There was not a single thing I did not like. I usually don't enjoy kimchi but theirs was mild and I liked it. Overall, a very positive experience. Prices are high but for good quality, for me it will be more of a special occasion place but I could see coming here often. Especially for appetizers and drinks. Also, get the cheese corn, it is so yummy!

We had a great time dining in. We are repeat customers and really love this restaurant The service is always great. The restaurant is very clean and nice and the neighborhood is just nice as well. There is street parking on the street that the restaurant is on and there are also spaces throughout the neighborhood. This restaurant does a great job accommodating my having Celiacs Disease. I usually can have most of the items that are served. When ordering it's kind of like how a hibachi is meaning they have different platters you chose from like all steak or chicken and seafood etc. We usually get the Butchers cut which I think has different cuts of steak as well as pork and I believe I add on a side of shrimp for a small fee. The Japchai is really delicious here and I highly recommend it. This restaurant is great for a date night or family night. They are never super busy so I don't think you need a reservation, but I usually just make one. This place is also not expensive.

I can't even start with how amazing Kate and Sebastian were at Kore! First off, she double checked we were drinkers for our anniversary and then brought us complementary Prosecco so she won my heart! Then we had the most amazing food and wine and Sebastian checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was fantastic. Could not recommend this place more!

Multiple servers checked up on us during dinner. The teamwork here is on point. The whole staff moved together tonight to help ensure dinner would be great and it was. Order the beef bulgogi. Many thanks to Clark and Anasofia, and also to the rest of the staff whose names I did not get tonight. We will be back!

I can't say enough about this Restaurant we were able to go for lunch for our 28th wedding anniversary and we served by us very cordial and professional young lady named Ann. She was our chef as well. Everything we had was phenomenal. We opted for the chef's experience so we didn't cook our meal ourselves, but everything that she cooked for us was Amazingly delicious. I think my absolute favorite was the filet mignon and the Wagyu beef tartare. Oh my gosh I just love the ambience and on that particular day during that time it was fortunate for us that we were the only people there lol I hear that dinner gets pretty crowded, but we had such a great time. I definitely will return and I thanked my friend for recommending this restaurant, I highly recommend it as well! Thanks so much and for making our anniversary lunch so delicious!

Upscale ambiance and great service.. location by the lake is amazing.. We didn't have the k bbq but it was looking fabulous on the other tables. The complimentary salad was so tasty.. Beef bulgogi was on point. Chicken wings took a long time to come out but were delicious,

They don't. They open at 5pm and turnover is roughly 90 minutes at the barbecue tables. Best bet is to get there 30 mins before one of the intervals and grab a drink at the bar while you wait, maybe an appetizer. It's worth the wait and the… Read more

There was a good amount of cheese curds and the gravy with the FF's were perfect. Truffle Burrata, also very good the black garlic is strong but it worked nicely with the dish. A large serving. My spouse loves mushrooms. I like them but it was still really good. Cubed yellow fin tuna: Also a very large portion and good flavour but it could have gone without the tomatos (and I love tomato's) And perhaps served with a rice cup or something to scoop it up. Everything is diced up so it makes it kind of messy to eat. We got a burger to split. we didn't order a side but the waiter I guess put them in anyhow. The FF without the poutine are just ok. The burger on the other hand was really good and cooked perfectly. We split everything and took home left overs, as it was a lot of food. We shared the butterscotch gelato and had coffee to go with it. The service is good, The athompshere is pleasant. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items. I'm not a greek fan so I wouldn't touch those but my husband will. :)

I love Dry Dock Waterfront Grill and I always visit when I am in the Sarasota area. Dry Dock is always busy so I am also sure to make a reservation in advance using Open Table. Typically we sit inside but I know the back patio is popular too. If your timing and patience is perfect, you can also get a nice a nice window seat in the dining room that has sweeping views of Sarasota Bay. The inside atmosphere is bright and airy and although airy often translates to loud, Dry Dock thoughtfully put noise dampening panels on the ceiling. As far as food, I don't think you can go wrong. I always get something with grouper whether it be an entree, sandwich or tacos. On my most recent visit I got the grouper filet with coconut shrimp because I had originally been eyeing up the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Ultimately, we decided to get the rock crab claws for an appetizer which were good but more work than I planned even though they were pre-cracked. I felt like a Neanderthal trying to eat those crab claws in such a nice restaurant. No offense to the Neanderthals, of course! I have no idea what my husband had as it disappeared. After entrees, apps and bread, we were too stuffed for dessert. I think our server was Cari and she was awesome! Attentive, friendly, funny and quite possibly a mind reader and magician. She saw the hanger in my eyes and made bread magically appear. I hope I got her name correct because she was superb! Shout out to all of the great staff members at Dry Dock -we've never had a bad experience. I love Dry Dock and it will forever stay in my Sarasota rotation.

I was seated facing a wall so I didn't get a good long look at my surroundings but between what I did see and looking at photos posted on Yelp the theme seems to be chickens. Our server was friendly and available to answer any questions as we spent time looking over the menu. I settled on The Hitman, a double patty smashed burger with American cheese, hen sauce, fried mozzarella, Nueske's bacon, with a side of garlic parm fries. It isn't listed on the online menu but there is a note the menu changes frequently so it may not match the day's offering. Let me start by saying that two of the people at my table got salads and were disappointed that there was too much lettuce and too little other stuff. With that out of the way, let me talk about The Hitman, which I loved. What is Nueske bacon? This is a special smoked flavorful bacon made by the Nueske family. Fork & Hen uses thick cut, and there were two slices on my burger. My burger towered so high there was no hope of picking it up, so I attacked it with knife and fork. Being made with Focaccia bread certainly added to the height, but so did a thick block of mozzzrella cheese. The cheese, melted on the inside and crispy on the outside, was substantial. I would be careful biting into a hot block of melted cheese, think pizza mouth. In my photo I broke into one corner to show that is cheese, so much cheese. The burger patty part topped with American cheese was by itself great, like you might find at a home cookout or Smashburgers. Other toppings were there but for me this was meat and a lot of cheese. And as much bread as you want. I loved my surprising good cheeseburger.
