The menu here is VERY LARGE. It's available for both lunch and dinner. It has Starters, Soups, Noodles, Rice, Seafood, Poultry, Fish, Pork and Beef. It is very authentic in it's delicious food offerings. The service is fast and friendly. When you walk in you read the menu, the Team takes your order and your name. Once prepared your name is called and you receive your food and you take it to your table. The inside eating area is large for the size of the restaurant and the outside eating area offers a view of the Rockies. Great food, awesome service in a very comfortable environment. When you are in Boulder and looking for some tasty food come to China Gourmet you'll be glad you did.

Delicious with a wide variety of options! The only Chinese restaurant my very picky Asian parents will go to in Boulder. My favorites are the mapo tofu and the spicy beef with veggies. And noodles!

Super flavorful as always. We got the Mongolian beef and the seafood tofu hot pot. By far the best Chinese food in Boulder.

Portions are very small for the pricing. Food is good! But not the best. Seemed a little bit undercooked.

Great flavor albeit small lunch portion. The setup is easy and kind staff. Price reasonable but not great. Haven't tried dinner portion

Absolutely the best Chinese take out in Boulder. Always fresh and so solid! Best chicken fried rice and spring rolls.

Super tasty, great price, nice employees, and a great shaded patio. A great lunch spot in North Boulder. I will definitely be back!

Let's start with the cons. 1st off, it would be an order at the counter but they try their hardest to have you get a table and order off your phone, with QR codes everywhere. I had it ready to order off my phone and then it wanted only Google pay, which I don't have hook up to any card. So we had to redo the order on my husband phone. There was not cashier or anyone to ask questions to, not even a greeting when we walked in. When checking out, it automatically asked for 20% tip, I have no waiter or anyone to talk to, why the tip request? Order a couple of things which came out at different times. I did see the sign saying expect 20-25 mins per meal, with it being quite dead in the place I figured our two dumpling orders would at least come out together. I was already done with my meal when my husband's came out. The bathroom! Come on! Not the fact you have to walk through a storage room to get to it, the fact it was so poorly stocked. No toilet paper, paper towels couldn't be in the wall container, but stacked high where a small adult like myself could barely reach it, let alone a kid. Two wall soap dispensers neither were filled, the store bought soap on the sink was almost out. Now why would you say it got three stars? The pan fried dumplings were huge and you got 10 pieces per order. The soup dumplings were good but got super sticky when I tried to wait to eat before the others came out. Pancakes app were great especially with vinegar. Would have appreciated maybe a green onion ginger sauce to be a topper options for the dumplings. The huge pan fried dumplings saved this place, would I go back... Undecided.

The man who greeted us was very nice and accommodating. More people arrived as we sat, including a woman who, it turned out, was also going to the Festival. I was choosing between Shrimp with Vegetables on the Chinese menu and a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Chicken and Eggroll. I went with the Vietnamese Bowl. My friend got the same only with shrimp. Both were delicious! There is a mild spice on the grilled chicken and it seemed like it might be the same one on the shrimp. I tasted hers. Delectable. And both were tender. The eggroll was nice and crunchy. The noodles were good. I would have liked more vegetables, and we both asked for more sauce. Not sure why they don't give more to start with. At other restaurants, I've always been served with enough sauce from the beginning. But he brought more of it promptly when we asked. I could only eat about half of mine. Because it was room temperature to begin with, hopefully the leftovers are OK having sat in my car for hours! The decor was nice. Tile on both the floor and walls. My friend really liked the walls and told the gentleman that he'd made a good choice! It all looks clean and cared for. I will go back. Hope you go, too! There are several restaurants in the shopping center there at Baseline and Broadway. May Wah is in the southern section, facing north.

They have lunch specials, so your meal comes with rice (which I don't like) and an egg roll with soup. it doesn't come with the soup though unless you dine in? I asked if I could just substitute the soup for the rice and it was like their brains couldn't calculate that request. It was simple. I HAD to dine in for it. Anyway makes no sense I didn't eat there looked nice though.
