Soy chicken Szechuan and soy beef broccoli (we already ate a whole portion each and this is still what's left! )

The man working at the desk was so nice and got our to-go food out really quick! The portions are HUGE and we love the vegan options!

The must be a popular place: they were pretty much full on a Monday! Came after voting to grab a bite. It's a fairly standard Chinese restaurant with some great vegetarian options. The staff was friendly and nice, only one hard working waitress for the dining room. I came expecting more of a Thai/Japanese vibe, but this place is straight outta the 90s! Not in a bad way, but different than I expected. To be honest, I thought the prices were high for the quality. They have a big buffet m, but sadly not much vege options. The buffet is reasonably priced at $20. I got the wonton soup and sesame tofu. I messed up and didn't ask for vege wontons, so I got pork. They were alright but tasted plain. Sesame tofu came on a big platter with lots of rice. The broccoli smelled funny, but tasted fine. Would have liked a few other vegetables. This entree was listed at $15. There was a lot of tofu and sauce. Overall, I can tell that this place has a strong community founding. Which is great to see, but I can definitely hope for higher quality next time. I will try their soy entrees next, everyone buzzed about them on Yelp!

Had the luncheon buffet. Decent variety but the food was hardly warm. Nothing exceptional. Service was good and place was clean.

It's a really fun place to visit, and you can even play pool or ping pong while enjoying delicious craft cocktails and tasty food. My friend and I went for Happy Hour, and we had a blast! The service was very attentive and friendly; the waiter's and bartender's recommendations were great, and the food was not only beautifully presented, but also extremely tasty. They will open the outdoor pool with a bar and seating area next to it this summer, and I can't wait! In the meantime, I'll definitively go back!

The inside is really cute and I love the overall vibe of the place. We were dressed for dinner, so we weren't looking to swim, but the pool looked fun for a hot day. I ordered the Banana Boulevardier and it was delicious. After that I ordered a daiquiri (one of my go-to drinks) and it was probably one of the best ones I've ever had. The bartenders were all super nice and we enjoyed chatting with them. We weren't there to eat, but the food looked good. I would love to come back and order off of the Happy Hour menu. I couldn't find the happy hour times anywhere online, but they are 3-6 and 8-close every day.

The difficulties with are in my previous reviews. Now much of the facility has been torn down and the ongoing construction of the space to be city staff offices and the bigger space to be affordable housing had become impractical to use or eat at the restaurant. The noise was deafening. In January they moved to a food court on the Hill. This is a lower level of a building with other tenants. There are about 6 food kitchens and each time I have been here this summer and fall, this is the busiest at lunch. Since the seating is communal there is always space and it is clean. The staff here have been really nice. If I'm preparing a meal at home or supplementing leftovers, I have stopped by to get a fave vegetable, baby bok choy, steamed and seasoned and at an affordable side dish price. Today my husband and I walked down for lunch and ordered the Tuesday special street crepes some of the owners have continued from the long gone first owners from Beijing. As with other succeeding owners, they too have continued to use lettuce rather than the bok choy in the crepe. It also has some ham, scallions and crispy wonton bits and a nice spread of hoisin. It is topped with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds that I love. Another difference from the original is that the ingredients of the crepe itself are not well mixed together so many large patches of separate egg white and yolk makes it harder to hold together and not as pretty. But it tastes just fine but original years ago was addicting. I will continue to come here try more of the food from the current owner. I love beef noodles and have 2 other places I can get a good version but this is the most walkable for me. They do very nice prep for takeout which is good too. At lunch it is busy with CU affiliated students, staff and faculty alike. Every item I have had at Flower Pepper is hand made and prepared for the customer.

When you first walk in, there are two kiosks where you can place your order and you may walk up to the cash register and order with a live person. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. Overall, I thought the food tasted good, the service was great, the price was high, and we would opt for bowls next time.

I appreciate the options for greens, white rice, brown rice, or a combo for the base. I loved the crispy eggplant, especially dipped in the jalapeño aioli. The salmon poke was cut and flavored well. The toppings tasted fresh and added a great texture to the bowl. I loved the addition of asparagus, which I don't often see in poke bowls. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.

When we looked at the menu, we were very taken back by how expensive a regular bowl of pho was ($16-18 for a regular size). Not to mention, this was the first time we experienced a Pho restaurant not having any hanh dam so we were surprised. For context, my friends and I are used to the Vietnamese food scene in Houston so we're aware that we're pretty spoiled. This is the following list of items that were ordered: - Pho Dac Biet The soup game was unfortunately weak. It tasted pretty watered down and lacked flavor. Meat and noodles were fine though! - Goi Cuon (Shrimp and Pork) The Goi Cuon itself was decent but the sauce was... interesting. It was almost too sweet, my friend even mentioned that it had a slight hint of coconut which I was able to taste as well. I'm not sure if people in Boulder do Vietnamese food differently but the sauce was personally not for me. - Passion Fruit Green Tea w/Boba This was just okay. The boba and passion fruit seed was good. We were also able to taste the tea but it had an interesting aftertaste to it. I do appreciate the staff members and their hard work! Not to mention, most restaurants close so early in Colorado but this one is open until 11 PM on weekends!

We tried it this evening and liked it a lot. I see why it is so popular. But do know they do not have identical menu items to the Denver locations. This fact did cause me to be disappointed when one of the items arrived at the table. My husband loved it though, as he is a big fan of cream cheese which I am not. I only eat items like NY cheesecake and on bagels with lox. What I wanted to try was the roasted duck dumpling but got the fried wonton with cream cheese and duck. It had a good sauce as well as a slice of mango and a pinch of pea shoots on the top. I do love baby pea shoots and though not what I envisioned, I did eat my portion. The shrimp spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while. I had a hot oolong tea and my husband had a Thai tea. We both liked our drinks which were exactly as we expected. We also had a "small" plate of bbq chicken which was hardly a small thing. A large tasty section of chicken on a bed of lettuce with a side of shredded carrot and cabbage with a very nice sauce. It was perfect for my husband but as I am not allowed chicken skin, it was harder to eat but tasty. Such a bigger serving than we expected, we brought enough home for lunch tomorrow. The staff were friendly, helpful yet not intrusive. The setting was perfect for me and for all as the variety of styles allow for accommodating any needs. Pricing was average for Boulder and more than worth it. We will be back and try more items. Often have lunch with a friend who drives and it will be perfect for that this summer.

The pork egg rolls were crispy on the outside with a generous, tasty filling, perfectly fried and not greasy. The crab wontons were a highlight, light, crunchy, and packed with creamy filling, paired nicely with a sweet dipping sauce. I ordered the BBQ chicken entree that is marinated and grilled and served with spicy tamarind or sweet and sour sauce. It came with so many fresh veggies and I loved the tamarind sauce so much I had to order extra. The BBQ chicken was tender and well-seasoned with a slightly smoky, savory-sweet taste that really stood out. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable, great for a relaxed meal without feeling rushed.
