It was accompanied by white rice. Large enough portion that she has lunch for tomorrow! Diner #3 ordered an eel roll and a few pieces of fat salmon sashimi. She said it was all good. I ordered pad Thai with shrimp. Several large shrimp were delicious and the noodles were very good. I ordered it as mild as possible and there was not a hint of 'hot' spice although it was physically really hot, which I love. I think next time I'd ask for a little heat in it. As I'm writing this I realize I could have asked for some chili oil or something to spice it but I enjoyed it very much. The server was terrific and a few people made sure our drinks were refilled. I definitely am looking forward to my next visit here. There are lots of things I want to try!
