Boneless Chicken Crackling (chicharron de pollo sin hueso)

I ca here with some friends. It's always good to see more Chino/Latino fusion restaurants in the city--we need to keep these gems around. The food here was delicious and fresh. The service was as good as the food, and our waiter was attentive but not in an overbearing way. We ordered the beef and broccoli, chicharron de pollo sin hueso (boneless crackling chicken), and the bistec encebollado (steak with onions). We all got our meals with pork fried rice and vegetable lo mein. The portions were generous; we each shared from each other's plates and still had enough to take home. The beef with broccoli and steak was flavorful and not tough like at other places. The chicken was crispy but still juicy. If you're ever in Corona, I would recommend you check out this place. Especially if you're craving Chinese food with a splash of Spanish mixed in, make sure you get the house iced tea with your food to complete the meal!

The staff were incredibly surprised to see me. They were super nice to me and talked to me in Cantonese. They were probably wondering what the heck was I doing in Corona by myself. I was waiting for a friend and where else am I going to get a Chinese-Spanish style bistek or chuleta frita in Corona? Well not many. There is another place on Junction but it actually taste better here. We had the steak and eggs, wonton soup and the fried pork chops. I am not keen on the wonton soup but he rest of it was good. The atmosphere is devoid but that is not what I am here for. I can sit down and have a conversation without much people bothering me and there is almost no chance of me running into anyone I know. It's not annoyingly loud here. Would I come back? If I was in the neighborhood, yes for sure. Would I come on purpose...I don't know. I would come I suppose over some other places. They just have to work on getting your order correct!!! I ordered maduros and they instead gave me salad. Not the same! haha.

Porkchop & shrimp and sweet plantains

First time having Chinese Latin food. Phenomenal. I had the porkchop & shrimp, beef & broccoli , and sweet plantains. It kind of felt like a multicultural Thanksgiving. Definitely went to sleep after the meal but probably was the best sleep of my life. I went post-covid too. They regularly sanitize stations and make sure to keep the advised capacity. Good stuff - i would deff recommend

And I'm saying that as a Dominican with a Dominican grandfather who cooks just like this. I have NEVER been able to find a place that makes rice the way my grandpa does. Like that real, home-cooked Dominican rice that actually tastes like something. And of course I don't always want to bother him when I'm in the mood for good Dominican food... so I'm genuinely so happy I found this place. Ordering was super easy and pickup was quick. Prices are also really good for the amount of food you get. And everything I've tried has been delicious. The beans though... oh my God. I'm still thinking about the beans. For the amount of food you get for the price, it's amazing! I can't wait to keep ordering from here, and I'm honestly already thinking about placing larger orders for events in the future. If there's one local business in Queens you should support, it's this one. Hands down one of the best Dominican spots!

The only negative was their bathroom. It was (extremely musty) due to possible water damage. The food was really good. I tried the breaded pork loin, cazuela de frijoles and steak topped with mushroom sauce. Everything was really great and the portions were very generous. We also ordered a refajo (It's a traditional Colombian cocktail made with beer and "Colombiana", which is a soda from Colombia. It is a very simple and quick recipe but refreshing) I wanted to try their chicken and boy oh boy their chicken was so flavorful. I definitely recommend their roasted chicken. My boyfriend and I shared the bandeja paisa which is a typical Colombian dish. It was so filling; everything on that plate tasted good. I really liked the beans and the chicharron; the chicharron wasn't hard to chew which I have experienced before at other Colombian restaurants. It was a lively restaurant experience, there were a good amount of tables filled up and as our main entree arrived I realized it was because the Colombian soccer team had a game going on at the time I was dining at the restaurant. Great restaurant to watch a soccer game over some yummy food. The service from the staff was friendly and the ambiance was top notch. The restaurant went wild when the Colombian soccer team scored. All in all, this is an amazing restaurant. 10/10 experience and restaurant recommendation
