What I will be bringing up is the way they deal with mistakes they make. I ordered about 6 dishes for my family, the delivery took long-ish (over an hour) and I got a call from the delivery man saying that if I didn't have cash, because his interact machine wasn't working, he would be taking my food back to the restaurant. I was a little peeved but hey, 'shit happens' right? Then I start opening the food to discover that I was sent broccoli and beef instead of broccoli and chicken. I go back to my online order and see that I ordered chicken, so I call. If there was someone who actually ate beef, I would have kept it because I hate wasting food. Alas, for one reason or another, no one eats beef (taste, religion, and preference). Excuse my wandering off, back to the call.... So, I explain the situation and they verify that it was their fault and not mine. Then they offer this, "Okay, can we just send you the chicken?" I reply, "Yes, we want the chicken and broccoli." "No, we will send you some cooked chicken." Everyone listening into the call got a WTF look on their face! So, we were supposed to dump some chicken into the beef sauce and be happy with that. Even though the taste of beef and the oils of the meat would be all over the chicken. I haven't eaten beef in over 25 years and I'm not going to start because these guys don't know how to treat their clientele. I actually hung up in dismay! I'm not rude but that was just too much. They lost about 200$ a month, maybe that's not much but whatever...

After many other times ordering it was just so crap that I now refuse to eat there. Everything is so breaded there's no meat. Orange beef was just really really bad tossed the rest out. Wonton soup taste like lake water. Spring rolls not fresh at all. Dumplings for a piece of nerve inside or bone very disturbing. My friend and I made a vow to never order from there again and he's not even a picky eater. We gave them lots of chances and now it's the last one.

Hottest item was the soup, however hot and sour soup not very tasty. All might have tasted better if it had been hot. No offerings such as sushi, fresh cooked wok items. Nothing special about the desserts, even the ice cream was half melted. Overall decor extremely shopworn and beaten up. Place in desperate need of a redo. Bathrooms ancient, not very clean, overflow storage all over the place. $32.00/person before taxes. A total ripoff for what was offered. Advise everyone to pass this on by and go up the street to well run and far better restaurants offered to Lasalle residents.

When we went here, there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant, so I'm not sure how long the food sat out - but yikes. Everything was pretty old and stale. Weirdly enough, even the oranges were prob. the most sour oranges I've encountered. For a buffet, the selection of food was rather grim with not too many choices. Food was meh throughout - egg rolls were okay, but the "wonton" soup simply was just broth with floating pieces of wonton wrappers - there was no meat, wth?! Numerous other dishes were so forgettable that I don't even remember them.

Under 30$ is a fair price for a buffet that includes all you can eat sushi. The sushi was fine considering the price. The hot buffet had the usual dishes. The fried white fish was quite good. Not the beat buffet I had but very respectable. They had shrimp, frog legs and dumplings which surprised me.

No name tags on anything to indicate what the food items were. There a small section with 3-4 kinds of sushi which weren't fresh. The seaweed wrap was very rubbery. The spicy mayo was on the table beside the sushi rack when it should be in the fridge or in a cool section because it's mayo or it goes bad. The side of the hot foods there is barely any choices. The Sweet and sour soup was horrific in taste. The wonton soup barely had any meat. The fried shrimp was soggy, the fake crab with cheese on top had an interesting taste. The honey garlic ribs, general tao chicken and wings were the only decent things, very similar to what you could get at Tiki Ming. The dessert section is mixed with the salad bar. There is 4 kinds of mouse/cake and a few ice cream flavours to chose from. This newly opened restaurant lacks cleanliness, food options and overall taste.. Truly regret wasting 72$ (24$ per person). NEVER going back there again. And I DON'T recommend anyone waste their money.

The Long Version: I love hand pulled noodles, so my husband and I had lunch here. He's not a fan of noodle soups but agreed to come and just have appetizers, lol. I got the small-sized Spicy Mushrooms and Chicken Noodle Soup ($13.99). I chose the #6 size noodles which is the thickest noodles they offer. My husband got the imperial rolls ($4.50 for 3) and the fried shrimp wontons ($11.99 for 10). I really enjoyed my soup, especially the thick noodles. They were chewy and the right amount of softness. There were chicken pieces in it, mushrooms and a delicious "tofu sausage." It also had 2 pieces of baby Bok Choy and some pieces of kelp. I wished there was more vegetables. The soup also had green onions and cilantro. The broth was a tiny bit spicy from the chili oil. I am happy that this soup does not have sesame seeds in it, so I didn't have to ask them to hold the sesame seeds. Lol. My only complaint would be that the broth was a bit too salty and too oily for my tastes. I still thought it was good though. My husband enjoyed his appetizers. The imperial rolls were vegetarian. I didn't have any, but they looked like nothing special to me, haha. However, the hubby liked them which is what matters. The fried shrimp wontons looked good and he liked those too. Service was pleasant and efficient. The decor is casual with some fun touches. I liked the rotating lanterns with lights on the ceiling and the drawings of a big squid and clams on the walls. I would return to try their other noodle soups and also their handmade dumplings. Review #10 (2026)
