Pho with beef, lime, cilantro, scallions, bean sprouts and basil leaves

Yummy! Chimm Street is another wonderful food stall at the new Cville Dairy Market. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered beef pho and shrimp wonton with a side of steamed rice for pick-up. The pho was delicious, warm, and included generous chunks of meat. I ordered hoisin sauce on the side to elevate the flavor too (great idea). The wonton soup came in a small container with a few balls of ground shrimp - I would recommend sharing this as an appetizer or ordering with a side for a main dish. You're only getting about 3-4 wontons per soup, but the prices are reasonable. The steamed rise was a bit soggy at the bottom, which was a bummer, but not enough to dock points. The overall experience was positive - greeted with a smile to pick up the food, yummy details, and packaged with care. Would definitely recommend - 8/10

Love Chimm or Thai Cuisine & Noodle House but find yourself at Dairy? Well you are in luck because Chimm Street is here! I went at lunch time and the service was very fast, but not in the way the food was already produced and not freshly made kind of way. I opted for the tofu and veggie pho and MAN did it deliver. We plan to head to back this weekend to Dairy and I wouldn't be surprised if I try everything else on the menu!

I got a beef pho. Meet was tender and broth was decent. Only 1 size. Portion was small and it didn't feel right eating pho with a plastic bowl and spoon. It's located in a food court so I understand why, but the bowl cost me $16. Just wasn't worth it. I was still hungry after.

Dumplings, fresh and crispy spring rolls

We ordered crispy spring rolls, fresh chicken spring rolls and dumplings to go. They came out quickly (6 mins) and we brought our tray down to Star Hill Brewery to get a beer with our apps. They all tasted great with dipping sauce for each that was jam packed with flavor. Small portions for the cost though. Our order totaled $21 and I was still hungry afterwards.

Great addition to the Dairy Market, especially on a cold winter day when you're craving a bowl of pho. I opted for the tofu/veggie pho in veggie broth with lime juice, jalapenos and hoisin sauce. Extremely large portions, enough for 2 meals. Ordered it to go, everything was right and very friendly service. Can't wait to try some of the other dishes and specials at this location. Variety is key to a successful food hall. Chimm St. helps the Dairy Market accomplish that.

Another great addition to The Dairy Market! We enjoyed Chimm Street's tofu curry and dumplings on opening day, and have only good things to say about the food! Even with a limited opening day menu, they did a great job of offering versatile dishes to meet different preferences and dietary restrictions. The dumplings especially were to die for, and packed with flavor! I only wish for $8, we got more than 4 tiny dumplings, but I guess that's the price of doing business in the Dairy Market! We would definitely get a double order next time because they were gone far too quickly, and we look forward to trying more items on the menu.

Panang Curry was very small for the price, not spicy at all, chicken was tough. Not good overall.

The beef salad had a nice fish sauce flavor to it. I would get both of them again. We also got the mango sticky rice. Apparently the blue rice is colored naturally, which is a plus for me. It tasted pretty good. I can't say I have had many mango sticky rices, but the mango was nice and ripe and the sticky rice was good. I liked how it wasn't too sweet. I would come back again.

No Thai food at all....and thus is my review. Food (3 out of 5): We ordered the Chicken Panang Curry and Pad See Ew beef. The panning curry was my favorite of the two entrees. The chicken itself was tender and good, the broth was far too thin to be a good curry, but the flavor itself wasn't too bad. It was unfortunate that it did not look like the photo, it was missing the red peppers and the basil leaves. The Pad See Ew beef....well, I am a huge fan of this dish and get it every possible moment. This one was definitely not my favorite - the sauce itself was a bit too "fishy" for my taste. The noodles were pretty mushy by the time they arrived and they seemed to be the dry rice noodles (not the fresh ones.). The beef itself, which is a $3 upcharge, was good, though.. So, I would order the curry again and perhaps order a non-noodle dish next time.... but I would order again, with my expectations in check. Also, I would ask for chili paste, soy sauce and chopsticks!

I had only planned on spending $60 or so but ended up spending $140 including a great tip for my waiter. I got the Fried Chicken Banh Mi, Dan Dan Noodles, and my guest ordered the Brisket Pho, and Singapore noodles alongside a Mojito and their coconut ice cube drink (blanking on the name). I loved every bite of my food. The Daikon Radish was the highlight of the Banh Mi and I was in love with every bite. Visibly dancing and gleaming with joy while eating + the great music being played also helped. I didn't eat my sandwich until it got cold as I like to finish a dish before trying another. I started with the Dan Dan noodles and had to drink 3 of the liters of water by myself to finish my meal . I took my guest's peppers and my peppers and crushed them up into my Dan Dan plate with all the seeds that came with them. In addition I also used all the chili oil paste it came with as well. It was so damn great I enjoyed every second. My guest loved their pho and didn't stop eating it and ate half of their Singapore noodles before getting full and having to take it home. They absolutely loved their drinks and it was so fun to watch the bartender make the drinks. Two shakers in hand mixing the drinks and oh boy were they strong . We will definitely be back!!! Oh and they also had chopsticks for us to use and we ate our entire meal with them. I knew I was in for a whirlwind of flavor when the ethnicities of the cooks matched the restaurant and patrons of color from Pakistani, Black, Indian, Korean, Thai, and more were dining in . Only downsides for me personally were the Singapore noodles but it wasn't my dish. I tasted them and didn't think they were for me I usually prefer a different ratio of seasoning for my Singapore noodles. My guest whose favorite dish is Singapore noodles quite adored them. Though they did say the Singapore noodles I make at home are better they still crushed it and the next morning woke up and crushed the rest with a smile on the face . Only thing I didn't like was the pho but that's my personal taste getting in the way. I don't like fish based broths but my guest ate every single last dropped and loved it! So if that's your alley go for it!!! 10/10 will try again!!! P.S. please tip the staff graciously they work so hard. If you're going to order a $100 worth of food don't be the person not tipping or tipping $10 when the service was excellent. Yes tipping cultures shouldn't exist but until they're paid a fair wage please continue to do so. I really hope this restaurant doesn't sell out like other restaurants (En Su Boca )

It was decent, sauce was on the side so that helped a lot from being super soggy. This was probably the only decent thing at a reasonable price. Hunan style combination was salty, the walnut shrimp was soggy as well, I guess i could have reheated this up as well since it was fried in batter. Shrimp was big and plumpy, there was no sauce that came with it on the side, only this yumyum sauce. Not sure if it was for that, if it was, very meh since the sauce is salty and not sweet. My favorite thing to get at other asian places is the Gway Tiow aka Chow Fun, but it was super soggy. The noodles were over cooked, it was also a tad salty, the lo mein was salty too, and the pad thai was meh, noodles were over cooked. I picked it up and the noodles would fall off the chopsticks and tasted mushy. It didn't have much flavor to it anyways. Kinda disappointing since of all the high ratings and the pics look tasty.
