They neither responded to my email nor the review with any sort of explanation or apology which suggests that they don't really care. So I'll share this on Yelp too so others are aware of their poor customer service. We visited this restaurant with a group of seven and were excited to try it, especially because the outdoor seating area looked like a great spot for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being very disappointing. Service was extremely slow and disorganized from the start. About 15 minutes after ordering, a different waitress brought food to our table that we hadn't ordered, then quickly took it away without much explanation. From there, things only got worse. Our meals came out slowly over the course of 30-45 minutes, just one or two plates at a time, with no communication about the delays. Our four-year-old waited nearly 45 minutes for a simple order of fish sticks. Even basic service was lacking. We had to ask multiple times for something as simple as an apple juice refill, and it still took far too long to arrive. Toward the end of the meal, our waitress stopped checking on our table altogether, which made it difficult to order dessert. The food itself was pretty good, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. However, the poor service and lack of attentiveness completely overshadowed the experience. Overall, it was frustrating and disappointing, and we don't plan to return.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here because the reviews were great and we hoped that it wouldn't be crowded. And boy am I glad that we did! Do note that parking can be a bit awkward, we decided to park across the street in the post office parking lot which I'm not entirely sure was legal but it was a Sunday so they weren't open anyways. Immediately upon walking in you can take in the entire restaurant. Maybe ten tables, a little counter, and then two doors leading to the restrooms/kitchen respectively. The hostess sat us down immediately and I felt like we were treated so nicely. The small town vibes of the place really shown through. Seems like the place had a bunch of regulars too and the hostess was making conversation. I was torn between the Dayton burger and the waffle with breakfast meat, but ultimately went with the burger. I was not disappointed at all! The burger was cooked perfectly, super juicy and tender. It got a little messy but that's what you want out of a good burger. I also got a side of onion rings. They were very crispy and delicious, and paired well with their aioli. The sandwiches also come with a pickle spear on the side which I love. My girlfriend got the cali burger which was advertised as coming with guacamole. She said it tasted more like mashed avocado than true guacamole; nevertheless she enjoyed her burger. I will definitely be coming back here! Do yourself a favor and enjoy some delicious food while also supporting this super friendly local business.

The service was impeccable, everyone was welcoming and friendly. We had the pirogies and nachos for appetizers and burgers for dinner. Everything was great. I highly recommend Daytons!!

Wait, another Tuesday, another food truck?…read more Yup!!! The Cajun Kitchen rolled in (literally, it is a food truck), and well, who can say no? Ok, you can, but I cannot. The shrimp were amazing. Not super busy inside so pretty easy parking and wait time wise. We decided to order the Crawfish Étouffée and the Taste of New Orleans with two Crawfish Étouffées and a Jambalaya (ran out of red beans and rice) with a cornbread. We didn't realize the miscommunication until we got our food but it turns out we only ordered the Taste of New Orleans but it was still a good amount to share and it was easier since it was smaller portions of each dish. Food only took about 5 minutes since we were the only ones in line. The étouffée and jambalaya had great flavor and even a little kick to it. I loved the jambalaya in particular because of the spice and amount of meat in it. I need to get the full size version of it when I come back. The cornbread and the butter it came with was really good as well. Nice and moist, definitely worth ordering again and great for sharing. Love that there is a good creole place in Woodbridge. We are absolutely coming back soon to try the rest of the menu (especially the desserts).
