I'm a huge fan of Korean fried chicken. I usually go to Bonchon but wanted to check this place out. I definitely enjoyed it more than Bonchon and the spicy wings are a bit less outrageous in spice level compared to the Bonchon spicy wings (after which I can't feel my mouth anymore). The people were super nice too and we were even given some sample wings while waiting for our food. May have to start getting my Korean chicken from ChiMc from now on! read more

The host Dillon (I hope I'm spelling this right, forgive me) was so great and warm he greeted me as I entered the store. I came to pick up my online order, to which he made adjustments, happily, due to the need to add more items for me. This is by far the best location they have. I was given a fresh "taster" as they came out of the fryer and sauced, which I cannot express how amazing and thoughtful this was, while I waited for my pickup order. Everything was great, though the chicken traveled better than the Mandu (of course I knew I would have some bit of sog, but much less than anticipated!). I must say the crisp on the Hot Wings really baffled me with how juicy they were, such perfection in the cooking and flavoring/saucing. I also must give Dillon his due kudos for his generous hospitality and just overall great demeanor with customers, staff and I'm sure he's personally a great person to hang with! So glad they finally opened in Loudoun County. I'd say this chain is the top for the korean fried chicken places in nova. The spicy chicken is just the right spice where you can still taste your food. Cooked fresh upon ordering, crunchy and juicy. Very friendly staff as well. read more

I am literally in the parking lot, I was looking for a lunch spot & I had driven past this place a few times, but never actually tried it, The person that was at the front his name is Dylan I believe, he was very nice, he explained their concept, and how they are work. He even gave me a sample to try, Which I wasn't expecting, I was wearing my retainers, so I went into the car to try them and when I tell you, I was shocked. The first bite into the wing you could hear and feel the crunchiness. The flavor was so good! they aren't overly sauced, and they are not dry, they are definitely amazing wings! Recently visited the newly opened Chi Mc spot in Sterling, and it exceeded all expectations! Definitely churning out the same quality of food as their Vienna and Burke locations. We ordered a lot of their dishes (which I'll cover) but the star of the show was definitely the wings. The wings were perfectly crispy - we got a "half and half" which was half soy garlic and half spicy. I especially like the spicy ones that packed just the right amount of heat. And then there were the mozzarella sticks - a seemingly simple appetizer - crispy on the outside, gooey and cheesy on the inside, these mozzarella sticks were undoubtedly the best I've ever had. Moving on to some of the mains, the japchae was perfectly cooked noodles, sautéed vegetables, and tender pieces of meat - overall great taste and my daughters both devoured it! The tteokbokki, with its rich and spicy sauce, was delicious - the rice cakes and fish cakes were perfectly cooked and it definitely had a great spicy heat to it. One of the pleasant surprises was the pa jun, a seafood pancake that was incredibly flavorful. The blend of seafood, vegetables, and seasoning left me wanting more. For sides we got both their kimchi coleslaw and their regular coleslaw. My favorite was definitely the kimchi slaw and I ate the whole container myself. Chi Mc in Sterling is a welcome addition to the area and I'll definitely be going back next time I'm nearby! read more

He explained the menu throughly and even provided us samples of the side dishes as well as wings with two types of sauce (hot and garlic honey). We ordered the medium sized meal and they were good! The sides were very refreshing. My wife liked the spicy coleslaw very much. The order of the chicken wings are based on weight not by number of pieces. The dinning room was very clean. This is my first time to this location of Chi Mc and it delivers on all fronts. The true star is the KFC which their version is the best I have had. The combo wings give you the perfect fire/ice spicy/sweet combo. The heat will sneak up on you. The product is perfect - juicy chicken, the crispiest crust imaginable, sauce lacquered on barely sticking to your hands and satisfying in every way. Don't sleep on the rest of the menu. Not surprisingly, everything fried is spot on. The mozzarella sticks are homemade with a perfect cheese pull. Rings and fries are great as well. The buns for the spicy pork are airy and awesome, loved this one - I am excited to try the bulgogi one next time. And the Mandu were homemade, with a light dough and lightly fried- really good!
