Easy to make an appt after explaining what the challenge was. Curtis came out, looked at what needed to be done, and got it taken care of. I would use them again. read more

From start to finish, this company was super responsive, extremely professional, and provided, reasonably priced quality service! I was impressed as was my husband. Everything about our chimney system was thoroughly and clearly explained to us. How best to use it, what to do, what not to do. I've never had a house with a chimney before, so all of this was super helpful information. He put my mind at ease about actually using our fireplace. I made sure she was all cleaned up and ready to go! I'm out of these folks to my contacts in my phone and will 100% reach out to them again for general maintenance and any other issues that arise. Could not recommend these folks more! read more

Chim Chim Cheroo came to the rescue for us! Birds kept coming down our chimney into the wood stove and we lucked out when we found this excellent company to install a chimney cap. Curtis, the chimney professional, quoted us a reasonable price before even coming out. We got a next day appointment which he was on time for. We are 100% happy and when and if the need arises we will call them again. No surprises and no regrets! Thank you Curtis! We will recommend your company to anyone in need of fireplace services. read more

Great service, wonderful job explaining in layman's terms, and are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

He could not have been nicer and provided excellent service both for the chimney cleaning and put a screen on the chimney top, but also dryer vent cleaning as well. Super knowledgeable. We'll worth the cost. read more

Curtis cleaned the chimneys in my home and that of my son. He was very professional with a very clean process. He was on time and gave us very good information to better care for our fireplace. The price was very reasonable and competitive. I would absolutely recommend Chim Chim Cherro to anyone needing service our cleaning on their fireplace. read more

Normally I would never write a review for a basic apartment repair, but Chim Chim Cheroo really goes above and beyond to make sure they address the issues they are contracted to fix. I recently submitted a request to my property manager for a dryer that takes four hours to dry clothes, and they contracted Chim Chim Cheroo to come clean out the vent. Chim Chim Cheroo called to confirm my appointment time, and let me know an even narrower window of when they expect to be there (which is awesome, because then I don't need to spend all day waiting around on appliance repair). I called them back to let them know that I'm not sure if it's the dryer vent or another issue, and they proceeded to do detailed troubleshooting with me via text to determine if their services were going to be a waste of money or if there was actually something they could do to help me. The fact that they were getting ahead of things on a Sunday night, making sure they weren't over-charging their customers for unnecessary services, and genuinely showing that they care led me to write this review. Truly an incredible company that has left a lasting good impression. I wish they would do more services! read more

We have Curtis clean our dryer vents every year. He is very friendly and professional and does a great job. The price is well worth the service he provides. We even got a reminder call when we were due for our annual cleaning! We will definitely continue to use Chim Chim Cheroo and recommend them to others. read more

Fantastic service and value! Recently needed to have our fireplace looked at and cleaned right before the busy holidays on short notice and reached out to Chim Chim Cheroo. They were booked out a week but graciously were able to squeeze me in on a sooner date - Scheduling was super easy via text and there were good updates when they were on the way over. I believe it was the owner Curtis who performed the inspection and cleaning as well as answered all of my husbands questions on proper fireplace use and maintenance. Great competitive pricing as well. Will for sure reach out again! Thanks so much Chim Chim Cheroo!! read more

We decided to finally get our dryer vent cleaned for the first time. So happy we found Curtis! He provided us with detailed information about his service. He arrived on time and was professional. He cleaned up when he was finished. His prices are reasonable and we will definitely use his services again. We highly recommend Chim Chim Cheroo!! read more

I called because we just moved into a new house with a kiva fireplace. This is our first operational fireplace so I wanted it inspected and cleaned. Curtis and another guy came out the next day after I called and were very professional. They thoroughly cleaned and inspected my fireplace and installed a spark catcher on the chimney. They also took pictures of some other items they recommended I get serviced, but did not pressure me at all. I ended up having them clean out my dryer vent from the roof too. They recommended a service schedule and Curtis was nice enough to give me a crash course in how to use the fireplace. A+ service, and much appreciated. read more

We moved into a new home in August 2020 and the chimney was in desperate need of cleaning. We called Curtis and he was able to come out on the date that I requested. He was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and punctual. He showed us two pretty big cracks in our fireplace back and bottom panels and recommended that they be replaced prior to burning any fires and offered a quote. He was not pushy. When he left, everything was spotless. You'd never know that we'd just had our chimney cleaned. Here we are 3 months later and he showed up on time again to replace the cracked panels. It looks amazing, costs exactly what he quoted, and the room looks spotless. No soot or mess. He's marked us on his calendar for our annual cleaning and instead of worrying about a mess, we look forward to getting this taken care of. We're so glad that we found this company. read more

We are so happy to have found Chim Chim Cheroo -- and Curtis and Velen -- he with his great expertise in the knowledge of chimneys, and she with her kindly manner in presenting their wonderful philosophy of service. It is honorable!! We will definitely have an appointment with Curtis every year, and as needed! read more

We scheduled with this chimney cleaning service last year instead of our usual chimney cleaners for reasons I can't remember. We were having an issue with a smoking fireplace. The tech arrived on time, was polite and professional in his demeanor but did not perform a complete chimney inspection and gave me somewhat of a blow-off explanation that my chimney was probably smoking "because the fireplace has too much ash in it." Having owned fireplaces which we use daily for 50 years, I did not think this was the problem, however decided not to argue. Two weeks later I had to have the service return to do an actual chimney inspection as we still had a smoke issue. On this visit, the tech actually went up and looked at the chimney cap (after being firmly prompted by me) and although he did not admit to finding an issue with the cap, he did replace it, after which we had no further issues with the fireplace smoking. I'm giving two stars for being superficially polite and somewhat professional and one star for eventually fixing the problem and deducting two stars for using the tiresome ploy of blaming the issue on some quibble with the homeowner's housekeeping. This is getting to be a more frequent occurrence in my opinion and it's just disrespectful. read more

Ok, so I have to admit, the name sold me on this one! ...and the Yelp reviews. But THE NAME! I mean, how cute is it? And I must say, i'm so glad that it did because Curtis was so professional, informative, and right on time! We just moved into a house that has an old wood burning fireplace that has been converted into gas so before lighting it, we wanted to have a full cleaning and safety check performed! Curtis did all of that and even taught me how to light it (My husband was out of town and I was having a girl's night that night, so naturally we needed to light that baby up!). I will definitely be calling Curtis again in a few years when we need another clean/check! Thank you for making my dreams of having a fire in my very own fireplace come true! read more

Amazing from beginning to end. Responsive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Curtis (the owner) was super friendly and did an amazing job! We were nervous about the condition of the fireplace and chimney in our new house. We asked him to come out to inspect and clean. Quick and easy, and very reasonably priced! 10/10 would recommend!!! Curtis came out to clean our fireplace for us and installed a chimney cap as well. He was super knowledgeable and provided a full visual inspection where he identifies some places that the previous owner of our home neglected which could have caused safety hazards. We honestly thought our fireplace was broken before Curtis came out and he showed us that it was in working condition and just needed some updates (we were thrilled). Would not hesitate to use them a second time. Thank you Curtis and team! read more

Very professional from the initial phone call to the service call! Great job and very informative!

Curtis came to our home today to check out my gas fireplace.. we have lived in the house for six years and have never used it.. but felt our kids were old enough that the time is finally right. From the get go he was prompt and professional. Making the appointment was easy and the company's communication is amazing. They call the day before and even though they give you a window of time he calls when he is en route.. THANK YOU for that! He was kind enough to wear a mask which I appreciate and he brought a blanket tarp in to make sure not to dirty my floors. He's great at explaining things and even though I'm sure he thought it was a simple house call he gave me confidence in working the fireplace and answered all of my questions. I haven't had a serviceman be so courteous and prompt in a long time and I appreciate it. Thank you!!! read more

Great service. Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely will be using them again.

If I could give a rating of 10 I would. I was in a pinch 2 days prior to entertaining more than 50 guest, and could not get on anyone's calendar to address a fireplace issue. Curtis volunteered to call me at the end of his work day outside of business hours. With our cell phone cameras and a flashlight he was able to walk me through resolving my issue, which not only saved me money, but put my mind at ease to help me enjoy my guest. I will recommend Chim Chim Cheroo to anyone. The administrative staff was courteous, passionate and responsive to my needs. They followed up with calls as promised and Curtis was patient and safely thorough in solving the problem. one of the few ethical companies left. THANK YOU C.C.C. Lillie read more

My mom who can barely get around these days mentioned that her dryer was extremely hot after one use and left her clothes still damped. I told her to stop using it immediately in fear that her house would catch fire. I contacted Chim Chim Cheroo and Curtis wasted no time getting to my moms house. He explained everything with so much detail and even showed my parents before and after pictures/videos. He said her exhaust line was completely blocked and definitely could've ended up in a house fire. Curtis was so caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Best part is that I get to sleep better at night knowing my mom's house is ok. We highly recommend Chim Chim Cheroo! read more

Total professional. You can eat out of my fireplace now. Was able to book me next day, arrived as scheduled, and did a thorough yet speedy job. Super happy with Chim Chim Cheroo! They were responsive and professional! They came out and cleaned my gas fireplace which had never been serviced since we moved in. The previous owners converted from wood burning to gas and never cleaned the chimney! So it was quite built up with suit. We were having an issue with our chimney (specifically, smoke from our downstairs neighbors' fireplace was coming into our apartment via our chimney), and we called Chim Chim Cheroo for help. Curtis came out to our apartment in Glendale and could not have been more courteous or helpful. Despite the fact that there was no direct interest in him doing so (the issue ended up being structural with our building, meaning Curtis couldn't help directly) he went out of his way to provide helpful solutions to help mitigate the issue while the root cause was fixed. He spent more than 20 minutes with us brainstorming potential solutions, free of charge. Overall his suggestions have made a huge positive impact for us. We are so grateful for his expertise and generosity, and cannot recommend this person or this company strongly enough. read more

We moved into a house with a fireplace from the 50's. The fireplace has missing grout and loose bricks plus a nice black layer of build up. I was able to schedule the inspection within 2 weeks of reaching out for a quote. After the inspection they Determined that the fire place needed some new grout and to re-adhere some bricks and add a bit of insulation to some gaps. I was really impressed They were able to squeeze us in right before Christmas so we could have our Christmas fire. It took about 3 hours for them to do the repairs and complete a chimney sweep. read more

Professional, detailed oriented, and friendly service. I needed my gas fireplace cleaned due to dust and not running it for a few years. It was hard finding a company that would service our area and provide deep cleanings. Chim Chim Cheroo was easy to deal with to schedule. The service was completed quickly and with no mess left in my home. The entire fireplace was thoroughly cleaned, and the logs were taken out and individually cleaned. Curtis took the time to answer our questions. I appreciate him teaching my family how the fireplace should function and things to look out for. This company provides cleanings only and refers you out if you need service/parts. Now my fireplace looks new and no longer dusty. There is a service charge for cleanings out of their normal service area. However, I think it's worth it, and the fee was comparable to other companies coming out far to Pinal county. read more

Curtis was so professional, he really is an expert, which I appreciated since I know nothing about his line of work. He was clean, careful and left my place in better shape than what it was when he arrived - some folks don't care to do that.
