Desert Custom Fireplace and Door came to my house today to fixed fireplace. It seem that the door was loose and that is the reason the fireplace was not working. I have previously given a bad review because, I was left without a fireplace for Christmas. I am happy now. The service was done and the issue has been resolved. Excellent, friendly service, will definitely be using again. Looking forward to using the fireplace again!

Robert and his son recently installed a new fireplace door, painted the fireplace interior, and did a very complete cleaning of the flume. They arrived on time and were engaging, provided a quality product at a fair price, and left no mess. We'll definitely recommend them! read more

I can sum this up in two words, Robert & Anthony!!! These guys are the best in the west. Couldn't find anyone to replace a fireplace screen until I stumbled on to Desert Custom Fireplace Doors. Great service, great price and great clean work! I guess it was more then two words.... read more

Desert Custom Fireplace Doors - Fireplace doors installed September. - Fireplace Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Brandon and his co worker Ty were awesome they really did a great job and got the job done! Thank you both. :)

Anthony, who was very personable, did a wonderful job installing these beautiful doors. He made a great effort to do it right before Christmas so I can use my fireplace during the holidays. The doors open smoothly and the one door has a slight magnetic pull when the door is almost closed so it closes completely. The framing and scrollwork are beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased! On their website, you can see there's a great many samples of doors that you can choose from, all high-quality. I highly recommend this company! read more

Nov 2022. Update. Needed a quick fix for our fire pit. A mouse had excavated a lot of sand covering all the nozzles on our brass flame ring and stuffed it silly. Completely clogged where there was zero flame. Desert Custom came out, took it apart, cleared the sand and debris and we are back to flame thrower status on the fire pit! Fantastic. Im so happy they were able to come out so quickly too as we have Thanksgiving company that I would like to keep in the backyard for at least part of the day, lol. Great work, fast work, efficient, reasonable prices for the task at hand. Thanks guys! read more

We moved into a house and needed a tune up and to see what was wrong with our fireplace that wouldn't turn on. We hopped on Yelp and found Desert Custom Fireplace! They were fantastic, highly recommend and would use them again next year when we have our annual tune up. They responded quickly to my message on Yelp, had affordable prices and were very friendly. No more searching for reviews now that we have found our fireplace people :) read more

Desert Custom Fireplace Doors - Our fireplace now works! They fixed and tuned it up well! - Fireplace Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Our fireplace electronic control system stopped working. The service person who came was very kind and after looking at the fireplace, he not only performed maintenance on our fireplace, but fixed our problem with a simple solution. What we thought was going to be an expensive parts replacement cost was resolved with a purchase of a cheap switch from a local hardware store and the service charge. The service person was very helpful, professional, and very careful to keep the work area clean and undisturbed. We highly recommended this company. read more

We are absolutely thrilled with the wonderful fireplace doors - one for outside and two for inside - that Robert and Anthony created for us. Everything about the experience was perfect - the design, the care and attention to detail, the communication, the timing, the door production, and the installation. These are superbly made and are true works of art, and all at a very reasonable price. We love them. We are so delighted that we found these two artists. We would use their services again without hesitation. Thank you both so much! read more

This Team really knows what they're doing. Fixed an issue a preview company couldn't figure out. Professional and polite. Highly recommend! read more

Desert Custom Fireplace Doors - Our fireplace never worked this well! - Fireplace Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Recently our fireplace was not lighting. Looked on yelp for a company that could assist with determining what the problem was. Found very limited options. Desert Custom Fireplace Doors came out and found a sensor had gone bad and immediately fixed it. Really appreciate their service and quick response. read more

Fantastic experience. I hadn't cleaned my chimney in 11 years and Anthony came by with a thorough cleaning, inspection, and lots of great advice. (Also no judgments, which I appreciated! ) I will absolutely do this once a year. Anthony was very courteous, on time, and totally efficient. Yay!!! read more

Our gas fireplace would not start up this winter. I called Desert Custom Fireplace and spoke to Robert. He scheduled Anthony for two days later. Anthony arrived on time, was very careful in setting up to make sure he didn't get anything on the floor, and very politely walked through the process of checking out the igniter box. What a delightful experience and we got very useful information. It turned out to be dust on the igniter connections which it turns out is pretty common. However, Anthony stayed and made sure everything was working smoothly. Desert Custom Fireplace doesn't do new installations or new construction but does do heavy duty fireplace screens. We had Anthony come back and we ordered the new heavy weight custom made fireplace screen and new facing. read more

Desert custom fireplace doors were super responsive, came within 2 days, exactly at the time they promised. We had a clogged chimney (at least 15 years that it was not cleaned, probably never since the house was built.) The technician on the job did an amazing job. He was clean (not easy when you sweep a clogged chimney into a living room), courteous, and efficient. After he left we didn't even need to clean the area. It was all as clean as it was before he worked on the fireplace. And, the fireplace works perfectly now. No more smoke in the house! read more

Tech who came to our home diagnosed a bad gas valve. Never sent the promised estimate to replace it. Second company, one that is certified to work on gas appliances, diagnosed problem--all we needed was a simple air purge. Gas valve does not need replaced. Robert's company did not diagnose the problem, and charged me for it. If I had trusted them I would have ended up buying an expensive valve, paying to install it, but still not fixing the issue. I have since learned that this company is "new" to the service business. Indeed. I am sure they sell nice doors, but my experience is that they are not qualified to do even a simple diagnosis. read more

Can't say enough good things! I called to get my fireplaces serviced. Robert showed up on time and was so polite. Unfortunately I had a direct vent fireplace which does not require servicing. Robert spent half an hour educating me on how fireplaces worked and helped to turn them all on as they had been shut off for the season. He didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend them as they were very knowledgeable!! read more
