One of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. We were pleasantly surprised when we went shopping for a electric fireplace, they had a great selection with friendly people. We worked with Nikki who has a great personality and outstanding attitude she made us so comfortable with her no pressure sales help. She walked us through our different options and sizes gave us brochures to take home and figure out what worked for us. After doing some research online we went back to order our fireplace, Nikki made everything so easy , she's a great asset to this company and I would recommend her and this business to anyone. read more

I have an old Superior wood-burning fireplace which needed new refractory panels. I was having a lot of difficulty finding replacement panels, and had spent weeks looking for them online and by contacting local chimney sweeps near my home in California. Just as I was about to give up, I found Arizona Fireplaces. The staff there were extremely helpful and took the time needed to find the panels for my fireplace. The panels arrived only five days after I ordered them. I ran into an issue while installing them, but the helpful staff at Arizona Fireplaces were able to help me resolve the issue over the phone. By ordering the panels from Arizona Fireplaces, and not repairing my fireplace with a local chimney sweep, I ended up saving more than $1000! I highly recommend this company. read more

I had our three glass front fireplaces serviced by AZ Fireplaces. I received great service, on time, and professional.

From beginning to end Arizona Fireplaces is amazing to work with. Jayme, in the showroom, was very helpful and full of experience and knowledge. She helped us pick out the perfect fireplace which was delivered today, which brings me to our delivery man, Chris Pastrano. Chris arrived when expected, was very friendly and accommodating. The fireplace is very heavy and Chris handled it like it was nothing, put it where we needed it and smiled the whole time! We can't say enough great things about Arizona Fireplaces, Jayme and Chris!! read more

Skyler was a great help throughout the entire process. We ordered a custom 8-foot mantle shelf, and he carefully and thoroughly went through every step to ensure it was ordered exactly as we wanted. His follow through communication after the order was placed (4-6 week wait) was excellent. The mantle was delivered today by Vince (a very nice and helpful man) and was exactly what we wanted! read more

Customer service is sorely lacking. Great products, great sales presentation. Installation process was difficult. Contradictory information. They never say "thank you for your business." As a licensed general contractor, I don't recommend them, and I will not use them in the future. read more

I was a walk in retail customer looking for a new set of artificial logs to replace the soot covered ones in our gas fireplace. Skyler Swartz greeted cordially and patiently showed me a large number of alternatives. I chose one and paid for it by credit card. The next day I found out that it was possible to clean our existing logs and called to ask if I could cancel the order. My request was politely granted and my card credited immediately. My bad. Arizona Fireplaces' good. I don't usually do surveys but for Arizona Fireplaces deserves this exception. read more

I had the displeasure this morning of having their truck tailgate and drive extremely aggressively. He tailgated me on Scottsdale Road, tailgated me on the 202 westbound on-ramp and then tried to pass me as the lanes were merging. I didn't let him because it was dangerous, but then he honked, put his brights on me and tailgated me even more aggressively. After having room, he crossed the solid white gorge line and tried to run me off the freeway. I have videos. read more

The service call included two techs. They phoned ahead of time, were professional, and took the necessary time to clean and light my fireplace after a couple years of being turned off. The service call was somewhat pricey, in my opinion, but fortunately there were no addition parts or fees required. read more

I was referred to Arizona Fireplace. As we entered the store on a Friday morning, we were almost immediately greeted by Nikki who was at the front desk. She was incredible and most helpful. She also has a sense of humor which was fun. She took care of us through the entire process until we selected the fireplace we wanted. She stated that the fireplace was not present at this site but she would get it delivered to this store and contact me Monday with next steps. Sure enough, I received a text from her around 9am stating the fireplace was in. I went to the store and was again greeted by Nikki and also met Walt who was also most helpful and went out of his way as Nikki did to answer my questions and provided the requested quotes for Mantles. I highly recommend AZ Fireplace as the customer service was second to none and the experience was enjoyable. Although, the fireplace isn't inexpensive, I left there feeling the value was worth every penny and confident they stand behind their products! Give them a chance and you won't be disappointed! read more

Our GC hired Arizona Fireplaces to install gas fireplaces. We have been very disappointed with the communication, or lack thereof and poor service. One of the fireplaces hasn't been working right because it was installed wrong and it also has these black boxes very visible. Arizona Fireplaces says this is how all the fireplaces look after installation which is shocking because these aren't pictured on any of the photos on their website. Stay away! The last thing you want when spending thousands on a fireplace. read more

The tech, Joey, was great he was professional and friendly and explained what he was doing.

Pilot would not light on 25yr old gas fireplace. Office asked lots of specific questions about the unit to be sure tech would have parts. No parts needed. Simple adjustment and cleaned entire unit for $230. Tech said these older units are so well made that they last forever. Bumble Bee plumbing charged $60 to tell me I should spend $3500. Went in to check on conversion from wood to gas fireplace. Corey took great care explaining my options and got me all set.

I highly recommend staying away from Arizona Fireplaces. We just spent $5k on a fireplace that we can not use with heat because it blew the breaker. We were never told we would need a dedicated wall outlet. We are beyond upset and displeased. If we would of known this ahead of time we would not have purchased it. AGAIN STAY FAR AWAY FROM ARIZONA FIREPLACES. read more

After installation of a $10,000+ fireplace, the flame is barely noticeable, the turn on switch doesn't consistently turn on the fire and their only response is that it "tested correctly". Technician lied to me and said that they can't have the flame above 50% of the height of the fireplace. The flame doesn't even get to the top of the logs as you can see in the picture when it is set on high. After insertion, they didn't even bother to clean up the construction debris. I wouldn't recommend them because of the lack of professionalism, dishonesty and low quality product. read more

For over 1 month I have speaking to Kent T at Arizona Fireplaces and discussed my need for handles for my fireplace. After giving him the information required for the handles and explaining what I needed he said he would look into the correct fireplace and order the handles, He said he would return my call as soon as he ordered them and it would not be no more then $15.00 This was two weeks after our discussion. I called several times when I had not heard from him and spoke to individuals that said he was not in the office and other excuses. It has been over a month and I called the main office and was transferred to Kent T who once again said he had tried to contact me and would check the warehouse as to where the handles were and call me back. No call back and no contact.. Very poor service... read more

I tried multiple times to get an estimate. I called, asked for different reps and nobody got back to me.

Greg was helpful and thorough. We are excited to finish our renovation and have the team install our new gas logs with remote starter.

Customer service does't even deserve one star. I waited over 2 1/2 months for an appointment which was scheduled for January 13, 2023. I never received a confirmation or a reminder.I called January 12th and was told the service tech will be calling me to confirm the time.On January 13th I called again and was told my appointment was cancelled.I was upset to learn this and was promised a call back soon to follow up.I never heard back.Clearly something is seriously wrong with Arizona Fireplace. Try another service provider. read more

The ONLY good thing about this company is the technician they sent out....after much cajoling and pleading. We bought a heater from this company 1 month ago. - they do NOT warranty their products - they do not stand up for what they sell - customer service is not existent - one has to become irate and upset to receive service and then this company charges almost $300 for a service call. Recommendation: BUY ELSEWHERE! read more

Only good thing about these folks was the actual installation - otherwise, don't bother. From order to install was 4 times the quoted lead time with no updates, I had to call to find out. Then, one year after install it quit working (OEM is Grand Canyon Gas Logs). Called for service and was quoted a "starting" price of $245 with a lead time of 2 months. Go somewhere else until they hire enough people to service what their many sales people sell! read more

Went in with my husband. We waited for over 10 minutes. Not one associate acknowledged we were there. Unbelievable !

Arizona Fireplaces - Roaring fire! - Fireplace Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Not good at following up with the customers or doing the details needed on a $30,000 job

We had soot buildup on the mantle. Arizona fireplaces came to inspect our gas fireplace, spent only a few minutes and misdiagnosed a construction issue. We called the builder, Camelot Homes, who promptly came to investigate: the logs we're improperly positioned (my fault). Simple fix, no charge. Arizona Fireplaces is demanding a $185 trip charge, for doing nothing and for misdiagnosis. We understand trip charges but the amount requested is completely unreasonable. We offered a compromise but the company is not bending. Too bad they believe $185 is worth more than their public image. read more

Worst customer service. Ordered a $6000 LED fireplace. Told they would hold until the contractor was ready to install. When we were ready to pick up they said "you already picked it up." They gave the same fireplace to someone else that bought the same product but pulled up our invoice and had the other customer sign the invoice. Obviously they did not check invoice numbers. But 5 phone calls of "Are you SURE you didn't pick up the fireplace ?". Ridiculous. When I went to pick up the fireplace I was the lone customer in the showroom with at least 4 salespeople or receptionists on phones or computers. I stood there for at least 2-3 minutes before even being acknowledged. We get it ready to install and notice that the fireplace the salesman showed us in the catalogue that we indicated that we wanted had a chrome faceplate. What we unboxed didn't have ANY faceplate. They failed to mention that you need to purchase a faceplate SEPARATELY, and that the company does not sell the chrome faceplate. The catalogue was displaying a custom-made faceplate. The salesperson did not even know that and had to investigate and call back. Thank goodness we are using our own contractors for the install. My interior designer has scratched them off her list of vendors to use. read more

These guys are family owned and it shows! So much attention to detail and and an incredible reputation indeed! If you're not aware that ALL manufactures in any industry are suffering from gross lead times then WAKE UP! It's a pandemic and we're all suffering. No need to leave a nasty YELP review about it. Arizona fireplace is dependable and the service is excellent! Highly recommend.

Absolutely worse customer service! I spent a fortune on 3 fireplaces and one of the fireplaces switch works randomly since the install. Have had them out twice and they charged me $185.00 for a problem that will probably happen again instead of replacing the switch. Since I don't use it 8 months out of the year and as a result of COVID they still billed me for a repeating problem. I have never taken the time to write a review but felt I needed to warn people to find another option!! read more

very knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Knew exactly what I needed when I described it, and they always had it in stock on each occasion.

Poor customer service from the get-go. We ordered our fireplace from Arizona Fireplaces but had our contractor install it, which is an option when you order. Our contractor couldn't get the fireplace working so we had to have Arizona Fireplaces make a service call. Initially, Arizona Fireplaces debated if they would make the service call since they weren't the ones who installed the fireplace then they finally told me they'd schedule the service call, but they never did. The second time I called, Arizona Fireplaces came out a month later and the service guys determined an important piece to the fireplace was missing that should have been included in the initial order but wasn't. Arizona Fireplaces also gave us a remote that turns out, wasn't compatible with the fireplace. I will happily pay for the missing part but despite their errors, they charged for a $180 service call. When asked about it, they didn't understand that we wouldn't have needed the service call had they included all the parts necessary for our contractors to properly install the fireplace in the first place. When I told them I wouldn't be doing business with them anymore, they said it was fine because their business was with my contractor anyway so I'm certain they won't mind this honest review. read more
