Techs were exceptionally polite, professional, and friendly. Very knowledgeable. Had my two gas fireplaces checked out, cleaned up and working properly very quickly. Cleaned up after themselves, no mess. Explained how to fire up the gas units (each one was different), and made sure I understood before leaving. Absolutely the most patient contractor on earth. I had issues with my house fireplace and they checked it out made some important changes that the previous owner had screwed up and then came back out twice (once at no charge) to test the system. Turns out that we have a fireplace that is not good with a vertical exhaust (right up the chimney) and that causes a draft that kills starting the fire. With great patience the service folks walked me through every facet of the issue and the solution for staring it (just keep trying). They were very familiar with the manufacturer and the product and it is a problem with this type of gas fireplace. Again, I learned all I need to know and the price is absolutely a bargain. I contacted Eiklor one eve after hours and they responded immediately. Lisa asked for pertinent info and called the next day to schedule my appointment for fireplace repair. The repairman got it up and running however I couldn't get it started the next day. Lisa spoke with the repairman and they decided to refund me my entire service charge as he felt he couldnt repair the fireplace due to some concerns he voiced the day of service. I had visitors coming over and my gas fireplace wasn't lighting properly!!! Found these guys on Yelp and they were so nice to come out ASAP for me. They were a wealth of knowledge too! Turns out my burner was clogged and they got to work on it immediately. On time, very neat and tidy work, even put on their own shoe covers before entering my home which I LOVED. I also had them clean the soot off my fireplace stone, and now it looks like new! They mentioned the logs weren't placed correctly by whoever built the fire & this is what was causing the soot buildup...who knew?! I then asked the owner, Erik, if he knew how to covert my gas, log fireplace into one with the more updated crystal rocks. Turns out he designs the coolest custom fire art I've ever seen!!! Called for service on our gas fireplace in February which is the busy season for these folks. The unit is 20 years old and the manufacturer is out of business. They were able to schedule a technician to come by within a few days (I had called two other service companies, one of which never replied and the second needed 6 weeks to schedule a call). Brandon showed up on time and was extremely familiar with my make/model. Within an hour he completed a thorough trouble shooting, isolated the problem, and was able to fix it without having to come back with a replacement part (faulty jumper board which he was able to rewire and bypass the fault). Don't waste your time looking for any other company to fix a gas fireplace problem. These guys are the best! read more

Great Job! I called them when I could not get the pilot light to our gas logs to stay lit. Lisa scheduled me out about 2 weeks and said she would call if there was a cancellation. A cancellation did occur, and we were service in about a week. The technician was professional, wearing a mask and booties. He diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in about 1 hour. Two technicians came to our house today to fix our gas fireplace that hadn't worked in awhile. The pilot was on but wouldn't start the fireplace. They worked non-stop for about two hours until they got to the bottom of the issue. In the process they cleaned things up, including the log and screens, and it works perfectly again. I highly recommend using Eiklor Flames West if you ever need to have your fireplace repaired. Our fireplace is indoor and natural gas. We could get a pilot lit but the main burner would not light. First, the owner responded to my Yelp request for a quote within the hour and shortly after contacted me to setup an appointment. It was quick and efficient. The day before she texted a reminder and the tech called 30 minutes before his arrival as promised. The tech came prepared, quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced a part, cleaned the different components, adjusted the pilot and did an over all inspection and cleaned up after himself.
