Excellent chimney sweep experience. Jimmy was fast and efficient. Very affordable! Would absolutely recommend.

I know nothing about fireplaces, chimneys, and the upkeep of them. I never cared to use them as living in Phoenix, it really never gets cold enough. Instead, I liked to hang my Christmas stockings over them. The previous owners before me used it but I never did. But now that I'm selling my house, one of the repairs request was to have my fireplace and chimney cleaned with a spark arrestor (cap) installed. I found Tony and his company through trusty Yelp. Our initial communications up until the day of the appointment were friendly, informative, and response time if unable to answer right away was fairly fast. I finally committed to scheduling the service after receiving my signed contract from my buyer and we set the appointment for the next day at noon. Hubby has the day off of work and was going to oversee the job. I texted him at 12:20 to see if they were there yet... No, they weren't. I called Tony at 12:45 to ask what was going on. He was very apologetic and was going to send his son out as he was not able to come out in a reasonable time. Heaven knows I forgotten appointments before and been given breaks so I just let it go. But this definitely made the difference between 5 and 4 stars. Hubby texted me at 1:45 to let me know they're there. He texted again around 2:10 to let me know they're all done. I honestly didn't know how long the job was going to take and I was pleasantly surprised it went so fast. Tony gave me a sweep and cap deal and it saved me about $130 versus going with a competitor for the same service. I'm trying not spend any more than I have to on satisfying the repairs request and Tony and company came through. It was a job well done and I am very satisfied. read more

I called and they were able to get me in within a week. It was their busy season so I was impressed by that. Both Jimmy and his father were polite and on time! They did a great job and I will be using them again next time read more

Tony of Reliable Chimney Sweep at 602-885-1240 just did my chimney for $99, his standard price. (By comparison, a friend who lives just south of Scottsdale Ranch paid $180 to have hers done.) Mine hadn't been done in 22 years and half of the hearth ended up filled with creosote even though I only use it a few times each winter. He is licensed and bonded and came within three days of my calling him. I originally got him off Yelp where he had a five star review. I can't recommend him strongly enough. His recommendation is that it should be done every time you have used the equivalent of two cords of wood. read more

Tony cleaned a chimney on a house recently purchased. Due to a crazy schedule, we found him to be flexible with his time, professional, and on time to get the chimney inspected & cleaned. Well priced, and did a great job explaining the condition of the fireplace. Thank you!! read more

I would like to make a post based off an incredible experience we just had with getting our chimney serviced at home. Jimmy at Reliable Chimney Sweep was exceptional. He was early, communicative, friendly, thorough, and skilled in his craft. Not to mention, very fairly priced. We were able to get scheduled within a few days of calling, which was not the case with other companies I inquired with. If you are looking for a chimney sweep, please consider Jimmy at Reliable Chimney Sweeps! read more

I tried (and tried) to schedule Reliable to sweep our gas fireplace chimney but they're either disorganized and lack follow up skills or they're so busy they don't need the business. I wish I could speak to their sweeping ability but unfortunately I'll never know about that because I'll pick another company that is more, well, RELIABLE. I gave two stars because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're nice people and mean well ... this just wasn't their finest moment. read more

Prompt, efficient, cheap, and cleaned up after themselves. I will be using them annually for our cleaning. Didn't try to upsell anything.

Excellent job at a very good price. When I started my search, I was looking for a reputable company that was experienced, bonded, and didn't charge an arm and a leg. I was quoted $175 and $150 from other competitors. I called Tony and he sounded like he wanted to earn my business. He cut me a better deal, scheduled the appointment quickly, and he did a great job. I would highly recommend Tony and will call him back the next time I need a chimney sweep. Well done Tony. read more

I've had such positive experiences with this service in general, and with Tony in particular. He is prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and has no problem dining right into the sooty, darkest corner of the house and making it right. He takes good care to not get soot on your stuff, and does a nice job cleaning up afterwards. Thanks, Tony! read more

Tony did an amazing job for me. I was dialing all over town looking for someone to put a smoke arrestor on my chimney so I could close on the sale of my house. He came the same day and got the job done quickly and for way less money than I thought it would be. Thanks Tony for being such a stand up guy, actually showing up and doing an excellent job at a fair price. read more

I moved into a new home with a gas fireplace and I had no idea what to do to get it going. Multiple companies stated they would come take a look for about $150. I called the guys at Reliable Chimney Sweep and they walked me through some simple things I could do on my own, low and behold it started working just fine! Others would have gladly charged me $100 plus to come over and push a few buttons! I'm so grateful that I gave Reliable a call, these are some really trustworthy guys with high integrity, I'll gladly go to them for any future repairs or maintenance. Thanks again! read more

Tony arrived on time, he was friendly and went right to work on our over due need of a chimney sweep. Tony is very professional, a man that knows his skill well, and explained what he was doing and the reason for the various tools he was using. Tony pointed out voids in our firebox and explained how we could fix them ourselves with fireplace mortar. Tony left no sign that we had swept our chimney, his work was very tidy and his price was fair. We discussed wood types and Tony gave us ideas of the best wood to purchase for a quick start for our next fires. We will definitely use Tony and Reliable Chimney Sweep and recommend them to friends. Check out Reliable Chimney Sweep before you schedule your next chimney sweep. read more
