Unfortunately, I fell prey to a sales pitch delivered by talented sales people. The bid I received from Stonecreek was the highest of all 5 bids that I received by far, but they offered the longest warranty and promised excellent results, so I hired them. Immediately after signing the contract, everything went downhill. I couldn't even list all of the ways this has gone wrong. From the start, communication dropped almost entirely. They sent subcontractors to do the install and were not here to supervise them, so nobody caught the numerous building code violations before they called the job "done". I've lost count of the number of opportunities I've given them to fix these issues and somehow they still can't get it right. Check reviews carefully. They pay for good reviews and lie to their employees by telling them they are not solicitors. They tell these kids that they are to do everything they can to maintain contact even after they have been informed that soliciting is not allowed and asked to leave. This kid tried to open my door and remove my no soliciting sign. He used profanity and threw a tantrum when I closed my door and would not listen to his pitch. There were multiple leaks and no permanent fixes offered. I finally went to another company and had the entire roof redone. Buyer beware -- make sure you ask for specific pictures, reports and information needed to register warranties. My home needed a new roof and Stonecreek was hired to replace the entire roof. The installation process was seamless (December 2021 - February 2022). However within 18 months of installation there were 3 roof leaks that caused internal damage. Stonecreek attempted to repair the damage for the first two and upon the third I had them only repair the roof and contracted others to repair the damage inside. Now three years after installation there is another significant leak. When I contact Stonecreek I am told the warranty for workmanship has expired and because I didn't specifically ask for the information required to register the 15 year warranty there was nothing they could do! I called in a different roof inspector and was told that the roofing material had failed. Because I didn't want any further internal damage I am now re-roofing with different material (and of course with a different roofing company!). Stonecreek declined to contact the manufacturer on my behalf and has refused to provide the information that I need to submit a claim to the manufacturer on my own ...... yikes!!!! Good luck to anyone who has already used Stonecreek - my advice to you is to get all the documentation and contact all the warranty providers to ensure you are prepared if something fails during the warranty period. Beware of Stonecreek Roofing 0 stars. Buyers regret, consumer beware! Poor workmanship on the roofing job they on my house. I have multiple leaks in my house now. While the roof was being laid, areas they claimed were finished developed brand new leaks! Sheetrock had to be repaired in my kitchen where there'd never even been a leak in the first place. I should have seen the writing on the wall. I called the ROC and I am filing a complaint. Save yourself from the nightmare frustration don't give your hard earned money to this inept company. l asked Stonecreek to please make my roof right, but they are refusing. I had no other choice, so I reached out to the ROC in hopes of getting a secure roof. I have the dated receipt from my final pmt., I know these things are time sensitive. The ROC told me I need to file. All I wanted was a good sound roof to protect my home, my largest investment. If I can save anyone from experiencing the worry, frustration and buyers remorse l've had to deal with I will feel some sense vindication. read more

I was blown off twice on appointments for various excuses, despite receiving confirmation emails and was rescheduled without consulting with me on acceptable dates and times. When I called them out on it, I received no response or apology. I got the very distinct impression that they were not interested in my business which is fine had they been forthright about it rather than causing me a lot of inconvenience. This was a disaster. I could write an entire book about how poor the communication is internally. It could be how many mistakes, shortcuts, and just how much ineptitude was involved in this job. They got a code to the lockbox and it was not communicated to their crew for some reason. So my concrete guys showed up while their crew was trying to break into the building. They knocked loose a concrete mold specifically set for an industrial lift that was being installed. They tried to foam over rotted moldy wood with black mold. They tried to do this 3 times! they had com come back 3 times just for that. They did not finish part of the skylight/solar tube install and I had to borrow an extending ladder and actually finish that myself. There is even more that this but it was such a bad situation it is upsetting me to keep writing. It was a giant mess. You do not want to conduct business with this mess. read more

We recently used Stonecreek to replace a roof on a log cabin. It was a great experience, though it had its challenges. Having to coordinate with a less than cooperative solar company, Stonecreek was very accommodating. The start day was rescheduled more than once, yet Stonecreek remained flexible and then mobilized on just three days notice after over a month delay. It was wonderful working with this company. We found out our roof was leaking during a rainstorm and had someone out that very day. We got quotes from multiple people and they were by far the cheapest. They put a tarp on our roof and came back later that week and fully repaired. Got my roof replaced and was charged extra to replace wood in the middle of my house. They claim the wood was changed but if you walk on top it sags. Most of the facia board was replaced but it was replaced with common board. Look elsewhere and don't believe the fake reviews. Minimum work, bad craftsmanship and expensive for what you get. read more

Stonecreek wasn't the most expensive or the cheapest but really seemed to know what they were talking about and went into great detail. Bringing samples was really helpful. I liked that they are GAF certified too so they can take care of any problems without affecting my warranty. I'd use them again for sure. read more

The roofing crew was amazing. Very hard working men, arrived every day just before 7 a.m. and worked hard all day. They did a great job. However, communication from Stonecreek was terrible. I received a phone call telling me they were going to TRY to deliver materials on Friday and start work on Mondya and would call me back to confirm and go over a couple of things....no phone call. Materials were delivered on Friday. Sunday evening I received a text message telling me they would not be starting Monday and we're "more than likely" going to start on Tuesday and that I would be receiving a call on Monday to go over a couple of things. No call on Monday. Monday evening I texted and asked if I should expect a crew on Tuesday...no response. The crew showed up on Tuesday and completed the job a few days later. The following Tuesday I received a call from an assistant stating that the someone would be by on Wednesday at 9 am.... she finally showed at almost 10 a.m. The woman is either way over worked or not very good at her job, either way, I was not impressed. read more

They were always available to answer question and give us guidance of our concerns. The reasons I couldn't give a raving 5 star review. They use sub contractors. I was very specific in asking this question. To my surprise! I had a sub contractors crew show up to replace my roof. They did an ok job, but returned 4 times over the period of a month to redo some of there work. Eventually, I finally got a Stonecreek roofer to complete the work. Like others have posted to our surprise this company uses sub contractors. This information was never given to us During the consultation / inspection. We found out the hard way when the contractors came to our home. there were problems almost immediately ! After they installed the underlayment and partly shingled roof we noticed that the dry vent and exhaust vents were completely shingled over. Thankfully we had pictures to help the roofer locate the vents. The workmanship on the wood that was replaced on the house was very low quality. Poor at best. There was very little communication from the project manager of Stonecreek Sarah and the subcontractor they used, causing even more frustration. There has been several trips after having the roof installed to locate a leak which cause more damage ! Stonecreek has been out three more times. I would say don't use this company and take the advice from Darlyn B. Find a company that uses their own employees or has W-2 employees crews. Streer clear of Stonecreek. It's all subcontractors!
