I have recommended Brown Roofing since they replaced our roof in 2018. Recently my elderly neighbor had some serious roof leaks. She thought her roof had been done many years ago. I recommended Brown Roofing. Brown Roofing came and looked at her roof, and said that everything looked like it was a RECENT roofing job. They recommended that she find the paperwork (and warranty), and get the roofers back out that did her new roof. We helped her find the paperwork. The previous roofers gave her a 3 year warranty (WHO in the roofing business only gives a 3 year warranty?!?!) It had been 3 years and one month since her new roof was installed. Long story - but the original roofers were total jerks. AND... they would not come back out (three no-shows) to fix her roof, even though she was willing to pay. We called Brown Roofing to come back out and do the repairs. She realized her roof was out of warranty, and she was willing to pay. She just wanted the water to stop coming through her air returns! Brown Roofing came to her house, did the repairs, and DID NOT charge her!! She insisted on paying them, as they did not do the original roof. They said the repairs were minor, and they were happy to help. These folks are just GOOD, honest, kind people. And, I still think they are an EXCELLENT roofing company. We have had our roof for eight years now - no leaks, no problems. I will continue to recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. read more

Craig came out to provide an estimate to repair wind damage to our roof. Three asphalt shingles had blown off. He inspected the roof and told me it didn't look too bad. He mentioned the color of my shingles and when I told him I had some extras, he told me to get them. Craig got his bucket of adhesive and tools out of his truck and replaced the three damaged shingles. He told me I should get another five years out of my roof and didn't charge me. read more

Just had Brown Roofing do my re-roof (underlayment replacement), and they did an exceptional job. Their proposal was less than the other roofer's quotes, and they did some items that other roofers wouldn't do, like paint match all the flashing and fascia all around the house. Every night they left my entire property spotless. They do not sub-contract out their work, and the owner is involved every step of the way. You cant go wrong with these guys. read more

Brown Roofing is an amazing company. They started on a Monday morning precisely at 7am when they said they were going to start and finished on Tuesday afternoon. We got several quotes from other companies and they were the lowest by a pretty big margin. They are totally transparent. I knew exactly what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. I could not believe they got our roof done in two days.. totally amazing!! The crew was amazing. They were totally professional and worked nonstop for two days. They also left our property as clean if not cleaner than before they arrived. Jesse was the person I had contact with. He is amazing, very helpful very professional very knowledgeable. I would recommend Brown Roofing over any other company in Arizona. I give them a 10 out of 10!!!! read more

Craig did our complete roof over 10 years ago. I had a recent issue and he came out and said he would fix it. He sent 2 men and they worked on the issue. With the rain on June 1st the issue was tested and is COMPLETELY fixed. Craig is honest and just happens to be a nice guy. I will always support family owned local businesses. Thank you Craig for taking care of this 80 year old !!! read more

Awesome from start to finish! I called several companies for estimates for a new shingle roof. Brown Roofing was the only 1 out of 5 to arrive on time! Jesse took the time to not only survey the roof, take measurements, etc, but also had a number of suggestions (deleting an old evap cooler duct, modernizing the venting system) that i didn't even have on my radar. No other companies took the time w/ me to discuss anything - just took measurements & left.. Communication throughout the entire proceess was excellent. Job started on a Tuesday and done by Friday. Crew was professional & considerate. Jobsite was honestly left cleaner then before they started! Price was a little higher than other quotes yet, I am so glad I paid up and didn't go cheap! A new roof is a large investment & I was very lucky to find Brown Roofing.. I will highly recommend them to my family, friends, & neighbors.. read more

A five star experience from start to finish! After a recent storm we noticed a small leak in ceiling of our master bedroom and knew it was time to replace our decades old tile roof. Jesse, our project manager, showed up on time and and I was pleased to know that he had done several roofing jobs in our neighborhood. He took measurements, pointed out various issues and how best to correct them and made suggestions about improving our roof vents and flashing to bring our roof up to current code. Jesse's knowledge, sincerity and enthusiasm immediately sold me on Brown Roofing. A few hours later we received an estimate that outlined every step of the job, the materials that would be used and a detailed cost breakdown. Impressive, to say the least. On our start date a crew of five arrived just after sunrise and immediately got to work. I was impressed by their work ethic, professionalism and ability to play well together -- all signs of an experienced and dependable crew. Jesse showed up early that morning to meet with us and stopped by throughout the day to check on progress and answer our questions. Craig, the company owner, also stopped by to introduce himself and make sure we knew he was closely monitoring the job. We found that very reassuring as reroofing is expensive and we wanted to be absolutely sure the job was done right. The work on our 1,800 sq. ft. single story home was completed in under three days thanks to the hard-working crew. At the end of each day the guys cleaned up all of the debris from our driveway and yard, leaving our place cleaner than it was before work started. The level of detail and expertise that Jesse and his crew brought to the job was outstanding, including pressure washing our driveway to remove the tire tracks left by their haul-away trailer. While not the cheapest bid we received, it was well worth every penny we paid and in retrospect a bargain considering the peace of mind that comes from knowing the job was done right. In summary, we're beyond pleased with Brown Roofing and will happily recommend the business to family and friends. I give them my very highest recommendation. read more

Brown Roofing were terrific! Every part of the job was amazing, from the estimate to scheduling to the completed job. The team were polite and neat and left everything clean. Craig and Deb were great to work with! They gave us a great price that included details other roofers left out. Don't trust your hard earned money to anyone else. Thank you Brown Roofing! read more

Craig and his team were great to work with. From the initial contact with Jesse, a detailed quote that was fully explained, to the crew who worked efficiently to complete the job, we were 100% satisfied. They pay attention to details and the finished product reflects that. We also appreciated the flexible payment options provided. Highly recommend! read more

Debbie was very polite and easy to talk to during scheduling. I called a couple other companies prior and did not have a pleasant experience. Craig was very prompt to get out to my house and give an honest assessment of the issue without any up-sell of unneeded repairs. I would certainly recommend Brown Roofing LLC as your first call! Follow-up: Three days later and the repair is complete! I couldn't be more happy with Brown Roofing and the service they provided. Everybody was very friendly and once the job was done, I was told exactly what was done to fix the issue. This quick turn-around was very important to me given it's monsoon season and we often have unexpected heavy rain. read more

Last week, Brown Roofing replaced our shingle roof and installed foam on the flat roof portion. From the very start, it was a pleasure working with those folks.  Debbie, Craig, and Jesse were all knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions/concerns with the process.  Choosing the right roofing company can be a daunting experience and is a big commitment.  Can't recommend Brown enough.  For the first time in years, we're excited for the monsoons!  Bring it on, Mother Nature! read more

After getting ALL my information. Not once, but twice, then, a description of what I needed was asked THREE times. They then told me that they won't do any job valued at under a thousand dollars. Jesse C. came out to bid on our roof. The work we needed was out of scope for the services Brown Roofing provides. Even though we could not work with Brown, Jesse was generous with his time, describing the state our roof, the type of covering it would need, and who might be able to do it. I really appreciated Jesse's honesty and work ethic being able to say a job can't be completed -- and here's why. I'm hoping this will highlight Brown's dedication to their customers and projects and appreciate the time and thoughtfulness in checking out our roof. read more

My roof experienced wind damage that required an entirely new roof. After soliciting bids from local roofers, Jesse was the only roofer that provided a competitive bid that made sense to the insurance company's adjuster. Besides patiently walking me through the insurance process, Jesse, David, Oscar and the rest of the crew completed the job in only 3 days! The quality, value and attention to detail were all stellar. And everybody showed up when they said they would. I highly recommend this company! read more

Not sure how I went from having such a great experience a few years ago to such a bad one. Brown just doesn't seem to want my business. After completing a re-roof a few years back, I called brown to look at a patio roof we skipped at the time. After initially having a lot of trouble even getting in contact ( I emailed Dean multiple times , the person who originally ran my project, but i guess he doesn't work there which is a shame cuz now I realize he was the one who made it such a good experience) - no response from the emails to dean, no auto reply that the email isn't valid or Dean doesn't work there) I sent a yelp message and never got a reply. I work long hours, much longer then this office is open and it's hard for me to call during work, but i never got a response via email or yelp. eventually I was able to connect via phone and set up a time for someone to come out and provide an estimate I was told I would get an email confirmation, I didn't. No reminder or confirmation call the day of, I called the office back to make sure they were still coming. This is really frustrating, I have to shift things around in my household and schedule to accommodate a mid day visit, so at least confirm your gonna be there. I learn the visit is confirmed and someone comes out, looks at the roof, tells my wife "this will be expensive" and we will get an email estimate I wait all day, no estimate. I call the office again the next day and ask when am I going to get an estimate? I hear those aren't prepared for two business days ( would be great if that's what the guy told us) but ok fine. My estimate should have arrived on Monday, now it's Saturday. For a company I previously spent like 15k with, and gave 5 stars on Yelp, I'm shocked how disappointing this experience is and how little it seems they care about my experience as a customer , and a previous customer at that. If they are this flakey in winning my business, how well Will they actually do the job? I'll find someone who wants my business - read more

We had Brown Roofing do repairs to ours and a number of roofs in our HOA community in central Phoenix late last year. We were very pleased with their work. We were so pleased that when it was time for additional repairs, Brown was who we called. They did a great job! GM Jesse came out promptly to do the inspection. Then, that was it. We never received a quote, and we and our management company have contacted Debbie at the Brown office a number of times to receive the quote. This was many many weeks ago, so we started looking for another company. I made one last try, both an email and a call to Debbie and Jesse and was told more than a week ago that Jesse would call me that day. No call then or ever. Debbie did tell me they were so busy they're booked into January 2022. Maybe we could have gotten on that schedule if Jesse or someone there wanted our business? It's too bad because we were pleased with their work, just not their responsiveness. read more

We needed our 24 year old tile roof redone, so we got 3 bids and decided on Brown Roofing. They started right on schedule, were quick and thorough. I never thought the roof could be redone so quickly. I also wanted to add a tubular skylight during this process. That installer was a little late arriving to install the skylight and Brown's workers accommodated the delay, with a smile. I used to be a remodeling contractor, and if I was still in that business, Brown Roofing would be my go to roofer. read more

Called to schedule a service appointment for my client. I was told the person scheduling was processing invoices and would call me back to schedule an appointment. No call...I called back and left a message to request a return call, no call yet. Just attempted to call them back and it went to voicemail. Two stars because I did speak to a person and they were pleasent and professional, no more stars because it is not the customers job to hound the business to do work or follow up. Looks like I am moving to the next company on the list. Had high hopes based on numerous reviews. *Update...downgraded to 1 star. After no calls and the message this morning, within 3 minutes of leaving a review Debbie called me, said she was a "little concerned with my review" said she had invoices yesterday and phones were busy today. Interesting that as soon as the review was left I became a priority for her to call. She also was audible unpleased, which I understand however, after giving an extra star for professionism, I removed one for the lack of the same reason. Did call another company, answered on the second ring and scheduled me right away...very pleasent experience. read more

This is an amazing company. They did a nice roof tile and repair. The approved estimate was lower than 2 other companies. The owner inspected the roof each day it was being redone. I'm always hesitant to leave a review so soon after the job, so we will see. But to this point, we were/are extremely pleased with Brown Roofing. We do our research with a project like this and were impressed with them every step of the way. We moved into our house last year and knew we would need a new roof soon. It turns out it was sooner than we thought as we had leaks during a recent monsoon. Jessie was knowledgeable and told us exactly what we needed without any high-pressure sales like some other companies. As others have said, they are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but they are great to work with and so far we are very pleased with the results. Craig, the owner makes sure to check in on each project. But let's not forget the actual roofers, they were always right on time and worked their tails off! read more

Over priced ripe off. I have a few shingles missing from a recent storm. My roof is only 5 years old. Not installed by Brown Roofing. The wanted 800 to replace about 4 shingles. I needed a new roof after the hail storm of 2010 and a coworker referred Brown Roofing so I had Craig come give me an estimate..he was my third estimate and his estimate came in under the other 2 with more options(adding ridge vents and extra venting). I decided to go with his company and I couldn't have been more satisfied. They did a beautiful job and did it very fast. They changed lots of rotten wood and fascia boards and everything was cleaned up after each day. It was a total stress free experience. After 3 years since the new roof.. I have had zero problems and I love the way it looks on my home. I've referred Brown Roofing to anyone I know that mentioned they needed a roof. If you need a roof or any repairs don't hesitate to give him a call. read more

I can't say enough good things about Brown Roofing. No, he was not the lowest quote of my 5 quotes. However, his quote was "all inclusive." The other quotes I received were "contingent on not finding any other problems after the roof was stripped." Craig Brown made me feel comfortable that the price quoted was the price I was going to pay. He took the time to walk me around my home pointing out exactly what he was doing, and was the only roofer who also explained WHY he was doing it (ex. Why he was replacing the whirlybirds with a ridge vent system). His crew arrived on time and got right to work. I was very impressed with the crew. Not only were they efficient in what they were doing, but many times throughout the day they cleaned the worksite, never letting it get messy. Chris, I'm assuming a job supervisor, kept me informed and answered any questions I had, pointing out the work they were doing, such as replacing facia boards and cutting in the new ridge vents. Needless to say, 3 full days later, the job was complete. They cleaned up, ran a giant magnet over my backyard and driveway to make sure no stray nails were left behind. I highly recommend Brown Roofing. read more

I dreaded getting a new roof and put it off for years. Who wants to spend thousands for something that looks about the same as before? Finally, I did my research and reached out for quotes. Craig Brown came out and really looked at my roof--getting up there himself. He then explained the process, materials, and cost very clearly and did not pressure me. His price was in the same range as others, but his included everything. Other companies gave me a base cost plus price sheets for wood and extra tiles, which was too hard to figure out what my final cost would be. So, based on that and Craig's obvious knowledge and experience, I decided to bite the bullet and get my roof done with Brown Roofing. I am so glad I did! The workers were courteous and skilled. The job was done early, and my yard was left immaculately clean. Best of all--my roof looks great--new wood, nice paint, and perfectly straight lines. These guys are perfectionists! We interviewed several roofing companies and are pleased that we chose Brown Roofing. They are professionals. The owner, Craig, provided the quotation and assured us that the price would not be more, and he delivered. Craig checked in with the crew and us several times a day. Y'all get four stars for busting your humps to get the roof on my house fast and doing a bang-up job. You did the roof a while back and it was awesome, now the shed is getting done. Why not five stars? BECAUSE YOU PULLED UP TO MY HOUSE AT SIX THIRTY IN THE MORNING ON A SUNDAY WITH YOUR CAR RADIO BLARING SO LOUD YOU WOKE THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD! I get that work can be noisy. Y'all are running a saw right now, and that's fine by me, because the wood's gotta get cut and the hammers gotta hammer. But super loud radios are not necessary for getting the work done. This was a 1700 sq. ft. home with a 41 year old tile roof and two leaking skylights on the Arizona room begging the question "what will they find under there?" The job was completed in less than three days within the cost estimate and I honestly have to say that the completed results of the two new roofs could not have been completed with more attention to detail or constructed more perfectly than if they had done the work on their own homes. The owner Craig, Jessie and all employees have demonstrated what a real quality company can be and has given me a renewed respect for the roofing industry in general. Extraordinary! read more
