This is a long overdue review but the roof has been good so far (Knock on wood) so I'll say now or never! Funny/not funny story: I was actually going to go with another roofing company for my house but the owner pretty much ghosted me after I decided to go with him. After emailing and calling with no response, I looked at the state contractor's website under his contractor number to find out his license had expired because he hadn't paid his fees! So, it worked out for the best that we went with ReVamp instead. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The job was done at the specified time frames and they were quick to come out and look at something I thought might be an issue after the job was done. When it's time to do some more roofing work for our house we'll be sure to get in contact with them again. read more

Revamp Roofing was one of three bidders that came to my house to look at some roof damage that was causing a minor leak in a bedroom ceiling. I received a call back in less than an hour after submitting my request for a quotation. That was very impressive. I believe I got an inspection visit the very next day. The quotation was also received within a day, and on a Saturday at that! Dai Zayas, who I presume is their office person, was very professional and courteous and replied to every one of my inquiries be it by telephone or email. I know that a courteous, professional and maybe even a happy person should be normal for front line people answering telephones or replying to email, but that unfortunately today is not the case. But Dai was all that and more! Ruben was the person who came out and inspected the project. He too was very professional and courteous. He inspected the problem area, took several pictures, which he then showed me on his tablet. It was nice to be able to see where the problem was and learn what could be done to remedy the issue. Ruben's quote offered two options; one a perfectly acceptable "fix" with a warranty, and a second larger scale option that really was more to let me know what it would cost should they discover more damage underneath the shingles as they began the repair. Essentially, the second/larger option spelled out the worst-case scenario, so I would not be surprised after-the-fact. I found this to be very considerate and again, unfortunately not a business practice you will find very often today! However, Ruben was very confident all I would need performed was the "fix" proposal. That turned out to be the case. Ruben, if you are one of the lead people at Revamp, you are setting a great example! Devin, the young man who came out to do the work was yet again, very professional and courteous (are you starting to see a theme here). He spent time prior to starting the work explaining what he planned to do, then upon completion, re-explained what he had done. He also took pictures and showed me every aspect of the work completed. I know I am harping on these types of points, but I just don't encounter enough young people doing their jobs today that act like Devin. He honestly seemed thrilled to be doing what he was doing to earn a living and it came across. I wish more young people would act this way. Nice job Devin! The price was significantly less than the two other bids. I am not the type person who always picks the cheapest price because as the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for! However, between all the 5-star reviews here on Yelp, plus how responsive and courteous both Dai and Ruben were before I agreed to hire them and then Devin on the job, it was an easy choice. Another small point on the prices quoted - and I may be off base here - but as a Scottsdale resident I sometimes feel I get the "Scottsdale" quote from contractors. My home is pretty modest and old and essentially the type structure you would find anywhere in the valley. However, I think that when a Scottsdale address is associated to a bid request, for some reason contractors think they can extract a little bit more. I didn't feel that was the case with Revamp. In closing, I sense that Revamp spends time training people how to act professionally and finding the type people who are trainable. Nice work Revamp - keep it up and you will be around a long time. I wholly endorse Revamp Roofing as a company you can trust and urge you to call them for a bid should you need any roof work. You will not be disappointed. read more

Reliable. .... and like others have mentioned, the service is excellent in every regard. Revamp tackled some nagging roof issues that other companies couldn't resolve. They are probably not the cheapest in town, but you won't find better workmanship and service - period. This company has such great customer service! After buying a new house with known roof issues, I had a few companies come out to do a quote on repair and eventually replacement of the roof. Revamp came out nice and quick to give it a look. Ruben (the owner) actually came out himself to do the inspection. He was very honest with me and was able to explain the reasons of why my roof needed replacement, rather than just saying "it's bad and needs replaced". Due to financial reasons, we decided to get the repair done before doing a full replacement. Ruben said the repair would hold us over until we could do the full replacement. The guys came out today and did the repair. They did a very good job taking photos of everything they did on the roof. I really appreciated this, as I obviously am not going to climb on the roof to make sure the work was actually done. Ruben called me after the work was done because I had a question about the invoice that was sent over. He had amazing customer service again. Not to mention, their prices are very competitive. I bought a home 4 months ago that needs a lot of work. As a DIY'er I started ripping my roof off to replace it myself. After tearing away half of the shingles I noticed there was an immense amount of damage to several rafters, the facia, and the shiplap over-hang. I called Ruben to come give me a quote on repairing the bad carpentry items as I was afraid it was over my head... as well as giving me a quote for the remaining tear-off and complete re-shingle. He showed up an hour after I called him... who does that?!?! Lol After a 20 minute conversation, Ruben gave me some pointers and basically convinced me that I could do it all myself!!! Though he inspected different sections of the roof on two separate occasions before bidding and starting, he ended up finding different conditions under different sections of the roof: some areas had two layers to tear off, rather than just one; other areas were completely missing the decking from an apparently improper installation many years prior. So the overall job ended taking about twice as long as he expected, and used more materials than he anticipated as well. Yet Ruben was always communicative, never visibly frustrated, and amazingly, did not revisit his initial bid, even to charge just for the incremental materials he required. Contrast this with other contractors I've worked with over the years, where one rotted framing member is cause for a $200 change order, and Ruben / Revamp Roofing has my whole-hearted confidence. read more

A+++ Company!!! I have a balcony that was sagging, no longer draining properly and leaking water in to my living room so I got a couple of quotes and decided to go with Revamp. Immediately upon calling them for a quote they were able to squeeze me in that same day to have it assessed. A second review was done by the job lead the next day, a quote was sent out a few days later and they were also able to schedule the work a week later! I realize it was a smaller job for them, but the entire process was a total of 4 days in order to let things dry/seal before the next phase so it was a week and a half process from first call to finishing the job. They did exactly what they quoted me without any new surprises or extra fees. They replaced the small rotted plywood, replaced it, sealed it with a couple layers and then added proper sloping/grading so that the water now drains off the balcony (might be more to it, but from what I saw). It looks amazing and they kept me informed every step of the way! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone hands down! read more

Revamp Roofing did an amazing job on our roof. The entire experience from the estimate to the completion of the work was exceptional, and very much appreciated. The experience we had while shopping for contractors left a very bad taste in our mouths.. until we called this company. We had a couple companies stand us up and never show up to give an estimate - no phone call or anything. We had 3-4 others (major companies) give us an estimate but when we wrote back with additional questions, we received no replies at all. Of the companies who gave us an estimate, none of them wanted to do the repairs we needed. They were only interested in doing a total re-roof and told us that's what we really need. Devin (spelling?) at Revamp was honest and told us we don't need an entire re-roof, saving us a ton of money (the repairs were $1,800). You can bet that when we do need a re-roof we will be calling this company!! Devin was great to work with and true to his word. The guys showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The paint Devin got for the fascia at the front of the house is a perfect match and you can't even tell there was ever anything wrong in that spot. We are amazed at how great it looks! None of the other companies we received estimates from would even paint the fascia, so the fact that this company does, sets them even more apart from the others. The guys left absolutely no scraps or trash behind and were always professional and courteous. My neighbor even stopped over to say that he watched the guys work and was impressed with them and how everything turned out and asked for a business card because he needs some work done too.
