so good!!! so so good!!! we had the pina colada one and loved it so so much! wish they'd open more branches. it's so good! read more

They have a lot of varieties. The avocado was not sweet and the purple Oreo is not crushed oreos in it. The strawberry shortcake was too sweet read more

When we were first dating, my husband and I would share a cool blue raspberry w/ extra tapioca. The Stratford mall location was closest to us, but sadly, it closed(like almost everything else at that mall). Luckily we can still go to this location. Ah, memories. read more

The bubble tea here is great. Not the best I have had but it's convenient while you are shopping. I would give it more stars but the service is pretty horrible. read more

I dropped by during Black Friday shopping in Woodfield Mall. I felt sorry for the two ladies working as they looked very tired. I can only imagine how many orders they had to make that early morning. They managed to remain friendly and smile which is admirable. I tried two different flavors. The Avocado Bubble Tea was beyond bland. I would not suggest ordering that flavor because it tastes like an Avocado who was disowned by its family. The Mango Bubble Tea on the other hand was very decent. It wasn't the freshest, but it passed the taste test for me. Their normal Tapioca is rather lackluster despite all the hype they have posted in their decorations about the Tapioca. Too Chewy and colder than the actual drink itself. I would recommend paying the extra for the special toppings. The Mango Tapioca and Pomegranate Bubbles are of superior quality. The pricey Bubble Tea hit the spot for me. I am sure they have their good flavors, but I unfortunately didn't find it this time around. They just need to blend their Tea better and prepare the Tapioca with more care to earn that 4 stars from me. I have paid a lot less for amazing Bubble Tea. PRO TIP!!! You can use 10% off if you Check In on Yelp! read more

I've had much better bubble tea elsewhere, but this is close to work for me, so when I need a fix, I come here. I'm pretty much fine with settling for an only average product, but the service could really use improvement. I completely understand hating your job, but try not act like it. And when someone says "thank you," you say "you're welcome." Boo to you for not making eye contact once during our entire transaction this afternoon. read more

This was nothing I was "hooked on" but it was good for the groupon now price which I got for $3 for $6 worth of drinks. We opted for the pina colada and mango fresh fruit smoothies. I like the mango better, but my husband like his pina colada better, which was fine with me. I tried the bubbles and I don't think they have much of a taste, but they are still good.... Overall I thought it was a good deal for the price I paid for! read more

Tried this place for the first time. Had the milk tea and there was way too much sugar as the drink was overly sweet. The tapioca tasted good. Only bad thing was the sweetness of the drink. read more

I was so upset by this place. It is not at all what I expected. I asked for a green milk tea and the girl looked at me like I was speaking a different language. She did not understand what a green milk tea was. I tried to explain that it is just milk tea but with green tea. She then said, "I can mix the milk tea and green tea flavors if you want." They don't even brew the tea!! All of the flavors are just powders that they mix and match to make "milk tea." I was so disappointed. Even so, I went ahead and bought the green/milk tea concoction and an orange cream smoothie, both with boba. I spent $8 on powdered drinks. Way too pricey for a drink that isn't even made properly. The way they prepared it was wrong, as they put the tapioca/boba on top of the ice. My green/milk tea was almost brown in color, too sweet, and thick like a smoothie. I was not happy at all. I threw it out after about 3 sips. The orange cream smoothie tasted just as bad in its own way. This place needs to learn how to make bubble tea. I've had it all over the country, and in Asia, and this is definitely not how it is supposed to be made/taste. read more

For being a bubble tea shop general manager, it takes a lot for me to like other bubble tea places.. and Chill caught my attention. My girlfriend and I were visiting Chicago from Buffalo and we were told to try this spot. We always try to order a Classic Milk Tea with Tapioca since that is pretty standard everywhere, and then we went novelty by ordering a Blue Raspberry Kiwi Smoothie with Pomegranate and Pineapple Bursting Boba (thats what we call it but they just called it Flavored Tapioca). Milk Tea - Flavor, Drink texture, tapioca texture, and ice to drink ratio on point, but the sweetness was a bit much for a Milk Tea Bubble Tea. I usually associate Milk Tea flavor as a subtle quiet drink, yet this screamed out "SUGAR" Blue Raspberry Kiwi - Flavorful, and innovative because you normally think Strawberry Kiwi, yet they paired blue raspberry instead. The smoothie wasn't too icy, yet not too watery.. it was smooth (pun intended). At our shop we have different Bursting Bobas so we wanted to try Pomegranate and Pineapple. They added the expected new dimension of flavoring and texture to the already decent drink. But then the sweetness level kicked our appetites again. We know that Bubble Tea is supposed to be a dessert drink, and even at my shop we offer sweetness level preferences which I'm sure they do the same at Chill, but for us, we both ordered small sizes and we could not eat dinner for the rest of the night. Lastly, the guy making our drinks was friendly, offered help, answered any questions, and made our drinks mindlessly with ease and precision. -1 for sweetness level, 4 for all the awesome you've packed into a 10x10 square foot stand. read more

Tried milk tea with regular tapioca. Too sweet!! I felt I just tasted sugar rather than any tea or milk. Suggest go for half or even 1/3 sugar. The tapioca is ok, not too hard or too soft. read more

I come here every week. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is the ridiculous service that's offered here. The coconut, vanilla, and mango pineapple teas with tapioca are delicious even though, i agree with others, sometimes the tapioca is a bit frozen. As far as the service, there's always just one person during weekdays, usually young with no people skills. One in particular is a young girl covered in hickeys who gives me my total before finishing my order. If they hired some friendly workers who are dedicated to giving good and fast service, they'd be getting five stars. I've only had one person give me great service, and he's about 20 and very well mannered and quick to do things. Hopefully, the managers consider finding some more appropriate workers. read more

Chill Bubble Tea - Coconut Bubble tea! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

surprisingly, the bubble teas are actually pretty good. real fruits are used...it's a better deal to buy the larger size for a dollar more...my favorite drink here is the avocado tea, which they use one whole fresh avocado. the price is is better compared to other places who serve these specialty drinks... read more

They currently aren't serving customers the avocado because it's expensive at the moment ...the kid that work there told me. I mean I'm paying $5 something for it already and the avocados are $.99 cent each right now. I'm typing this as I am eating an avocado right now! How cheap are you waiting for it to get? I also had their mix berries here and it was super disgusting! My friend threw his out while I was still slipping on it since he paid for it and second, it's berries ( it's healthy) but C'mon I come back here again and you tell me you don't serve avocados because their expensive? Avocado stays being expensive anyways! read more

This location is either a hit or miss. Sometimes you have a good experience and other times not so much. The bubble tea is fairly good and they have a good selection of flavors to choose from. Flavors such as chai tea, strawberry, coconut, etc. However, the problem I have found with this location is that they constantly run out of tapioca pearls. read more

I was running errands at Woodfield last night and saw Chill when I first arrived and I was so excited having just recently found bubble tea. After my errands, I stopped there and ordered a mango tea with extra tapioca pearls. I was pretty grossed out by the consistency of the pearls at first-they were really mushy. I had to spit them out in the parking lot because it was so nasty. After a while, the coldness of the tea hardened them a little and they were decent then, I guess this is what I get for getting bubble tea from the mall. From now on, I'll take my chances elsewhere. read more

This bubble tea is gross. It tastes so artificial. I will take joy yee's bubble tea over this one any day!

As far as Bubble Tea goes, this place is pretty average. They do use fresh fruit so that's always a bonus. None of that powder junk here. It's not nearly as good as you'd get at Joy Yee's as the options at Chill are pretty basic. If you're at the mall and you need a fix this will do the trick. read more

Stopped by here to get a mango bubble tea fix. Cost for a large was close to $5. Tapioca was decent, but the fruit smoothie itself was pretty bland. Too bad Woodfield. I guess I will stick with getting iced drinks from Starbucks... read more

Eh, it's convenient and easily accessible being in Woodfield Mall. I thought their milk tea was WAY too sweet despite me asking for only a tiny hint of sweetness. The tapioca itself lacked the chewy, yet firm texture boba should have and instead was a mushy mess. Also expensive! I'd rather get boba from Surf City Squeeze on the first floor. read more

Their tea is ok, not worth the dollar signs. Long line. And stingy. They don't give a cup of water because the "Boss" will get mad .

Was visiting Woodfield Mall and stumbled across this place as I was browing through stores. I'm originally from Southern california so I'm used to Boba places but since my move to Louisville 5 years ago- I've been sad- we don't have any of these places in Louisville. The price difference between a small and Large is only like 20 cents so get a Large! Noticed that the place uses real fruit and you can tell the difference. Really good and fresh. A few Tapioca bubbles were frozen still but I kinda actually liked it. All the other ones were soft and yummy. Whenever I'm in town again- I'll have to stop by and get some more Boba- or I guess it's called Bubble Tea around these parts! :) The cashier girl was also really nice by the way and I got a Yelp Discount! :) read more

They ran out of tapioca balls when we went there on 6/8/17, we were very disappointed as those tapioca balls are the main thing that makes bubble tea, bubble tea! read more

It's 11:15am on Thursday morning. My wife and I have a long drive ahead home and we decided to make an out of the way stop here to get a bubble tea. Guess what? Whoever works there decides to leave the post! There was no one there! My wife and I were in a rush and I waited 10 mins. Still no one. This is hilarious. A business with no one running it. Sure is a good way to make sure you get to return business. read more

ugh i haven't had their tea in a hot minute, but it's smackkk. every flavor is delicious but i always get green tea bc i'm basic, ya feel ? anyway, go get bubble tea from Chill Bubble Tea in the mall !1!1 highly recommend read more

I actually went to another Chill Bubble Tea before on dempster (unwillingly).....and somehow i also showed up at the one in woodfield (also unwillingly).......however, i was surprised. The green tea latte is pretty good.....well really good actually, even in comparison to the one on dempster for some reason. Clean place, fast/friendly service (rare for these types of places). If i'm in the area i'd definitely go back and see what else they have to offer. read more

If you want a REAL FRESH FRUIT smoothies and decent tapioca drinks -- just go to Joy Yees. If I can, I wouldn't even give a star to this place. MAJOR ISSUES: 1. Don't call it fresh fruit smoothies when I see you carry FROZEN DOLE MANGO packages from the back to make your so called fresh fruit smoothies. 2. Don't give me an attitude and look at me like I am stupid when I tell you my Milk Tea is too sweet and tastes like 90% syrup and 10% Milk Tea. Do your job right and I won't have to come back and bother you in the first place. 3. Terrible customer service, no hellos, no thank yous. Never. Again. read more

Wonderful store! Every time I go I am pleased with both the customer service and the drinks. Especially the employee, Dulce, is such a delight to have ordered from. She made my boyfriend's day with her kindness. read more

Very tasty, but pricey for what you're getting. I got the small size coconut bubble tea with tapioca. They have 2 sizes to choose from. Small ($3.50 for any traditional flavors; $3.95 for same size in any fresh fruit or personalized flavors) Mine was $3.50 before tax. You can see them make it right in front of you basically. The girl filled half the glass with tapioca, then the blender was mostly ice with a little coconut milk and I think frozen coconut meat, then blended like a delicious smoothie. The drink was fantastic! However, there was more tapioca than I would've wanted and every sip involved 5 or more giant balls of tapioca to chew on. The small size is plenty, but I could probably make this drink at home and get a lot more of it for the same price. But then again, I'm stingy with my money. read more

Never have tried their tea, i only get tapioca, but while i stood in line this evening, i saw some of the workers preparing drinks without gloves. It's not sanitary to handle money and touch someone's ingredients such as a banana. Very gross, but i'm glad i wasn't the one getting that tea.... read more

Fantastic bubble tea and service. Its about as good as it gets for suburbia and the people are always kind and nice. They let me change my order too after I made it and were really cool about it. read more

I really love this place! Their classic fruit flavor smoothies are the best I've ever had. They have plenty of flavors I have tried that are also good but my favorite is Strawberry Kiwi with tapioca. Every time I'm at wood field mall I cannot leave without getting one. (Sometimes several lbs) read more

Dude this place is killer! They just opened next to the Cheesecake factory on the second floor and they sell the BEST mango bubble tea I've ever had. They use huge chunks of mangos and ice, looks like no artifical stuff in it either...i usually get a fresh fruit MANGO bubble tea, plus the green tea latte is my gf's favorite. highly recommended if you're going to be in the Woodfield mall area, it's right next door to Claire's...also, I'm the first to review this place! props to me read more

The actual product is fine. The produce is fresh and the drinks are decent. The prices are outrageous and they will charge you for extra tapioca and not give it to you. Once, they only gave me a few pearls because they were "running low and didn't want to run out." Their service is terrible and the young Asian man that works their has absolutely no idea what customer service is. He does not look at you and he refuses to give extra tapioca even after he charges you for them. He once removed extra tapioca from my drink because he said that other person who made it gave me too many. read more

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Below I sent to their corporate office. While visiting the Woodfield mall location of Chill Bubble Tea on Saturday at 5:30pm, me and other customers received less than favorable customer service from the employees at that location. I would like to provide you with feedback from my experience in hopes that your company can implement changes or provide training to your employees so that does not happen to other customers. Being my first time at your establishment I asked the cashier to describe the Taro flavor and she was extremely rude and told me that it was "Taro." I told her I didn't know what that was and she was not very helpful. I waited nearly 20 minutes for my order and noticed that customers who ordered after me were served before me. While waiting for my order I noticed less than hygienic practices from the three employees behind the counter. The three employees appear to often forget the orders and would smell the smoothies to try to find out the flavors, they put their noses so close to the cup almost making contact with the cup's content. In addition, one of the employees kept grabbing the cups putting her fingers inside the cup and not once she washed her hands. Finally, after waiting for nearly 20 minutes I told one of the employees that I never received my order (this employee's name was Sylvia) and she did not even remember what I had ordered. She did not apologize and just told me "it happens" and made me wait for an additional 5 minutes. I took the drink, but after watching her put her fingers inside the cup as well, I did not drink the smoothy. Sadly and due to my less than favorable experience, I doubt I will ever visiting Chill Bubble Tea ever again. read more

I love bubble tea and this is one of the few that I've tried in the Chicagoland area. The milk tea with tapioca is pretty good but it's also pretty sweet. Great service and INCREDIBLE coconut bubble tea. I will definitely be back!

So disappointed :-( I love tea, but I think i will pass on bubble tea. I was on my way out of the mall and noticed this cute little spot. I got so excited with all of the different varieties of tea. I was especially excited when I saw they offered Watermelon bubble tea. I must say maybe since I'm not experienced with "bubble" tea I was expecting the wrong thing. But the tea didn't have a strong watermelon taste, actually it reminded me of a vanilla milkshake with a hint of watermelon. Also, this drink wasn't cheap I know I paid almost $5. Oh well, you live and learn. read more

The bubble tea here is really good. I got the watermelon and although it is kind of expensive I will definitely be back.
