Super cute cafe located within Woodfield Mall. The interior of this spot is decorated with lots of cute cats and different anime items which make for fun photo opportunities and a fun atmosphere. In addition to drinks, they offer a wide variety of different frozen and baked dessert items as well - many of which are not easy to find locally, not even in the larger Asian grocery stores in the suburbs. Ordering was quick and easy here on the kiosk, and I was served fairly quickly as well -- despite it being fairly busy inside. The drink was made well, to the sweetness and ice level I asked for. Though there aren't some of the more adventurous drink options available here, I like how this spot offers a bit more unique, and more variety of Asian drink and food options than you'd typically find in a similar concept in a mall.

Momo Cafe's storefront displays a bright, illuminated sign with a cute character logo and Japanese text, leading into a cafe interior with customers.

My husband and I went to Momo Cafe because we were thirsty from shopping. We got an Oreo shake without boba. We ordered at the kiosk and picked it up at the counter. The drink was good and had a rich flavor. Don't forget to take your picture with statue from the Spirited Away movie.

Woodfield mall is probably the busiest indoor mall, so it is very convenient to be able to grab a boba tea if you have a craving and are already inside the mall. Momo cafe has a good amount of offerings but no 'coffee' based bobas, but i happily ordered a Thai Tea. I like that they provide options for sugar levels and ice levels. I got the regular ice but i would recommend ordering with less ice to make it easier to get to your boba pearls. The store was relatively quiet during the weekday afternoon so the service was fast I'd recommend going if you are already in the mall, but not necessarily to go out of your way as it is pretty similar to other boba shops.

I was excited to try this place on account of the cute decor and my enthusiastic love of bubble tea. I ordered one of their sparkling drinks, which is similar to those Topo Chico soda waters with added fruit syrup. The beverage itself was basically fine (though it only comes in one size - HUGE), but what really put me off of this place is that they ONLY offer crystal boba (balls of sweetened agar jelly). No other toppings are available. To me, crystal boba lacks all of the depth and chew of the more typical tapioca. The crystal boba also stuck to each other to excess and had a hard time making it up the straw. So basically I had a huge cup of soda pop with occasional lychee pulp (since that's the fruit flavor I ordered). We are spoiled for choice around these parts, so I would say give this place a miss if your only goal is good bubble tea. If you happen to be at the mall anyway, it might be worth a stop in - I know you are going to want to check out their awesome No Face statue (from Spirited Away) at the very least. But I definitely wouldn't make a special trip here just for their bubble tea.

This place is adorable and makes delicious boba drinks. Once you walk in, there are so many adorable cat pictures/drawings that just add to the charm of the place. There is a touchscreen kiosk in the corner for you to take your time browsing your drinks and choosing your customizations. The drink came out very fast. I ordered the Mango Lover Smoothie that was a creamy mango smoothie with some mini mango chunks. It was delicious and tasted like fresh mangos rather than an artificial powder. Would love to come back and try their other flavors!

The atmosphere was nice and the walls were nicely decorated. There is seating but only high chairs, would've liked to have some lower seats and tables. The kiosk machine made ordering easy, but there was no receipt paper or it couldn't print any. The peach lemon green tea was refreshing with pieces of citrus- would come again!

Glad to see a new sweet drink place in Woodfield Mall. When I went, they were out of Ube, so I didn't get to try the Lychee Ube as the original plan. I had the small strawberry milk tea. It comes with quite a bit of whipped cream on top. I'd like to come back to try some of their other signature flavors. The decor inside the store was very cute.

Woodfield mall needed another boba shop other than Chill Bubble Tea! Momo Cafe had plenty of seating inside and outside of the storefront. Used to be where A&W was I believe. You can either order at the register or at a kiosk. They had plenty of snacks such as taiyaki ice cream, cake rolls, and sponge cake. Drink menu was mostly blended drinks and fruit teas. No milk teas. Tried the Ube Banana Specialty Drink with Crystal Pearls & 50% Sugar level. You can tell the banana was artificial banana powder, but the ube was good. The Crystal Pearls are not your regular tapioca/boba that you get at other boba shops though. Still good. The drink itself I would give 6/10, but I decided to give Momo Cafe an overall 5 stars because of the service was good, and pretty fast even though it was packed. The employees were doing great. And extra stars for the decorations. Probably would not come back for this boba as there are so many other shops in Schaumburg, but if I were in dire need for boba at the mall, then this is an option!

Very good atmosphere and drinks are also excellent. Not sure about snacks, but the tapioca pearls were on point, and we really enjoyed the whole experience of the place.

Cute anime themed smoothie cafe at Woodfield. You can order at the kiosk or by the register. I love the option to control the sugar content of my smoothie! I got the taro smoothie with 25% sugar and popping crystal pearls. It was good and refreshing.. Prices in line with most smoothie places.

This place is so adorable. Nestled inside Woodfield mall in the lower level. Service was good and drinks were perfect. The decor of the establishment is so cute and playful. Can't wait to try more from them.

This place was a mess with a bunch of kids working that don't offer options when they are out of products for substitutions.

This cafe does so many things right, starting with the spacious parking lot located in a large strip mall, which makes stopping by very convenient. Inside, the dining room is bright, elegant, and welcoming, and the staff has been consistently friendly and kind. During my first visit, my friend and I ordered for dine-in, and I immediately appreciated the thoughtful details. The ordering counter displays a variety of freshly made pastries and bakery items that are very tempting. My drink was served in a real glass, and my food came out hot on an actual plate with a fork. I love places that make dining in feel intentional and special rather than treating it like takeout. I ordered the spinach Turkish bread ($8.75), and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was generously filled with spinach, cheese, and garlic, and the flavor was outstanding. You could tell it was freshly made and homemade. Just writing this review is making me crave it again. I also ordered an iced caramel macchiato ($6.25), which had a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness and paired really well with my food. One downside is that the dining room is not very large, so tables are close together. As it got busier during our visit, I became a bit uncomfortable because I could clearly hear the conversation at the table next to us, which meant they could hear ours, as well. It is something to keep in mind if you plan to stay. Because of this, I now usually order my drink to go. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this cafe. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots for both food and coffee, and I will absolutely continue coming back.

I needed to go grocery shopping, but before the tasks begins hubs and I needed lunch! We walked thru the choices available at the food court and decided that Korean wings would be a tasty lunch meal. We were there just before 3:00 so we ordered the KPopcorn chicken lunch special. It came with tater tots (my fav), popcorn chicken with ddukbokki (ttekbokki) in the OG sauce, and a soft drink. We also got a 5 piece chicken wing in honey sauce and a taro blended smoothie. The popcorn chicken with dduk-bokki was plentiful for a lunch special. The OG sauce is DELICIOUS! It's slightly spicy, sweet, umami, and covered everything well! The popcorn chicken was crispy and juicy, nice plump sized pieces, and the dduk-bokki was nicely seared, chewy, and fresh! The tater tots were fried well and we dipped it in the OG sauce. The wings were larger and juicy, sooooo crispy, and covered in plenty of yum honey sauce. It wasn't a sickly sweet honey sauce, it was well balanced! The taro freeze tasted like taro which is good. I've had it at other places where it just tastes like a cup of slushy ice and a hint of something. The owner (I think he was the owner) was so sweet and was patient while I tried to figure out what we wanted. Because we were there just before 3:00 on a Monday, it wasn't very busy. There are plenty of tables for seating and enjoying your food. They're spaced nicely apart and all kept clean. The food court area is separate from the grocery store and has its own entrance (far right doors as you face the front of the store). To get to the grocery side you'll have to leave the food court and walk over to the other entrance. Craving some delicious Korean wings, dduk-bboki, or even bingsoo? KCafe will really hit the spot and it's so affordable!
