Stopped in last night with my boyfriend for a later dinner, We were seated immediately followed with quick friendly service, appetizer came out quickly, we had great drinks. Our server always came by at the right moment, was attentive enough to keep our waters filled. Offered us a pleasant smile, small talk just enough to make you feel comfortable to ask for anything. My boyfriend stepped outside for a phone call and our waiter was kind enough to offer my plate since it had come up before my boyfriends meal (since he was outside anyways I was happy not to have my meal sitting in the window under the heat lamp drying out). After having terrible service elsewhere the night before we were both relieved and satisfied. If you're stopping in for a late dinner ask for Marcus-- you won't be disappointed! read more

I used to be a fan of Chili's Restaurants. I've had some good and bad days with them as far as food is concerned, but realize, sometimes, the cook just misses the mark. Service is usually good enough. I hadn't had Chili's in quite some time and had a taste for the South Western Egg Rolls. I called in an order to the Warwick location during my lunch hour and grabbed it in my travels. I'd been to this location one other time and wasn't too pleased with my food, but thought I'd give it another try. This day, in November, the food was disappointing & I thought, I think I'm all done with Chili's.....I thought that was the end of the story. Wrong. When checking my account, there was a charge from my visit to chili's for $15, $6 more than the cost of my food. So around the 3rd week in Nov, I had a conversation with a manager, Justin, and inquired about the charge. It seems my receipt was misread by the bartender that day & she added $6.00 for the tip. Apparently, my zero written on the tip line looked like a 6, even though the total line did not reflect a $6 tip! At any rate, in order to not snatch the tip away from the bartender, who simply reached into the kitchen, grabbed my bag, and rang me up, I agreed to accept a $10 gift certificate which was to be mailed to my home. So, on 12/6, after having not received anything in the mail, I called again. This time I spoke to Zack who advised he would follow up with Justin, who was not yet in, and call me. I never heard from Zack....or Justin. So, on 12/7, I called and spoke to Eva. I think she is a manager, but I'm not sure. She said she would be sure to mail the gift card and confirmed the address. So, on 12/15, when there was still no gift certificate received, I called and spoke to Julie, the General Manager, who I just happened to get on the phone that day. Julie advised this was not acceptable & the procedure in place should have ensured I received a gift certificate. She promised she would place one in the mail to me and address the situation with staff...... It is January 8, 2018......I have yet to receive a certificate. So this place is a total disaster! Do not EVER GO HERE. absolutely the worst place for service and food. The food was served cold. Also the blond waitress through her hand up gave an attitude while we requested a fork that should have already been there. Place was very busy which we did expect when we pulled in. We waited maybe 3 minutes to be sat. Our server Marcus was prompt to our table which was good because we were hungry and ready to order, we went through 2 baskets of chips very quickly and our orders were out. The fajitas were very excellent. While waiting for our bill the manager came over and explained the machine on the table and showed me how to use my plenti card. Everytime that I have gone here there has been great food and great service! This is typically my go-to spot for some good mexican food. Although, over time their menu changes very often and they switch out lots of food. Years ago, their menu used to consist of mostly mexican food, while now the majority is filled with American. Definitely one of my favorite spots to get a quick eat, but I do hope they stop changing so often! read more

Let me say first that I have always enjoyed Chili's. That being said, last night, we stopped in for a bite of supper. Waitress seemed very rushed and distracted. We ordered drinks which took a while to get. We then ordered our app and entrees. During our 20 min wait for food, drink glasses were emptied and remained that way until we stopped our server and asked for refills. Wings were delivered, hot and tasty. From there, all downhill...entrees served very rudely. Wife's salad soggy and drenched in dressing, (always served on the side) and server argued about how it should be served and seemed pissed of that we wanted it redone. Son's burger bites and fries actually cold. My bottomless salad and soup were ok, but I wasn't asked if I wanted a refill on either until we were ready to leave. The other server working in the area actually made more contact with us then our server. I must say that the manager came by and we voiced our concerns, and she seemed very receptive, but after talking with her, or server never made eye contact again and was flustered. When I asked her for take out containers, she literally dropped them onto the table along with the bill without even saying a word. I searched out the manager before I left and she was apologetic and kind, but seemed as if I hadn't been the only one to complain. She said she would comp the meal, but I'm not sure if she did, I am still waiting on cc confirmation. Definitely will reconsider choosing this Chili's location again. One more thing...We never got our chips and salsa which was definitely a let down. read more

Came in there on Wednesday 5/22 for lunch with my boyfriend. Our server was Brandon and he came to take our drink order. I ordered an angry orchard and my boyfriend ordered a Bud light. He asked for our ID which was no problem and instantly goes "cant serve you" speaking to my boyfriend. I ask why not and he starts waving his hands in a "No" manner saying I cant. I continue to ask why because his ID was valid! He refused to give me a reason and literally walks away. We ended up walking out but I was shocked to see the disrespect that we were given. Granted he has an AZ ID as we are BOTH from AZ. The only excuse I will give for not serving is the fact that AZ IDs expire when we turn 65. So his expiration date was 8/62. Other than that, without valid reason I was left feeling humiliated as was he. If one is not able to identify if an ID is valid, then you shouldn't be serving alcohol yet alone denying customers out of peer ignorance. read more

The only reason this is getting more than one star is because the server was nice.... We entered this establishment at approximately 11 am on a Friday. There was only one other party (of 3) in the restaurant. We stood at the front waiting for a hostess who never came. The bartender then said "you can sit wherever on *this* side." I actually enjoyed the luxury of choosing my own table, but was thrown off because every other Chili's I've been to has had a hostess. The bartender brought us menus and said our server would be right over. A good 7 minutes lapsed and the server comes and takes drink orders from the other table that had been sitting there since before we even walked in. Then she comes and asks us what we'd like. We ordered our drinks and food in one go since we had already been sitting there for some time. We ordered chicken fajitas, clam chowder and a guacamole burger. I asked if I could substitute the fries for a salad and was told it was no problem. She then asked if we'd like chips and house made salsa to which we declined and she said "Well, your soup and salad will come out first anyway." Only.... it didn't. So, we wait. Our drinks come... We wait some more. Then a man comes out with a tray to the other table and attempts to put my burger down in front of these random people who corrected him in his error. But instead of him taking our food to us- the only other people who had ordered food in the restaurant- he returns it to the kitchen... So we continue waiting... I noticed that long waits are a common theme on this locations yelp. It is absolutely true. Finally, our server comes out with my burger, the chowder and a skillet of chicken and sides. No wraps for the fajitas and no salad. She realizes the error and runs to get them but quickly asks if we'd like salsa for the fajitas. My companion said yes and asked for lettuce as well. She goes back. We continue waiting. She comes out with my salad and the lettuce/salsa. Still no wraps. She runs back *again* and returns with the wraps a couple of minutes later. Like, really, this whole experience was just a disorganized clusterf***. The food was ok. My burger, salad and the chowder were good. The fajitas were bland and subpar. I pondered how, if they couldn't handle a few lunch orders, they could deal with a Saturday night dinner rush.... We attempted to pay at the annoying tablet on the table... I'll save you the rant about how much this bugs me. It's so LAZY. Run a check to the table like normal people! But I digress.... I noticed that I was charged for the side salad sub AND onion rings. An extra dollar. Had the service been EXCELLENT and the food delicious I wouldn't have bitched about this extra dollar, but this was literally THE worst experience I've EVER had at ANY Chili's. So I mentioned it to the server who told us the manager needs to fix it. She takes off with the tablet and a few minutes later returns and says the manager will be over to adjust it. So we continue waiting (there's that word again) and waiting and he never showed up. The server peeked around the corner and said "should be all set." So we paid and as we were leaving she apologized profusely for our poor experience. She was very nice, but she needed some help (i.e. an extra pair of eyes and hands paying attention to things because I can assure you the manager was NOT). EEEWWWWWW the food here is gross. My husband and I went here the other night and got a few appetizers together to split as dinner. We got Nachos, Mozzarella Sticks, and Boneless Buffalo wings. The nachos had "fajita beef" which sounded great but the beef was so fatty and chewy it was disgusting. The mozzarella had an odd taste to it, not something I can exactly pin-point. And the Boneless buffalo wings seemed to start out good but just got yucky. We felt as though the quality of the meat is very low grade which is what probably caused the chewy and fatty beef on the nachos. Taco Bell probably has better quality meat than this place. I love Chili's! The gluten-free menu and reasonable prices are great! Love the atmosphere - friendly, bright, clean, and not noisy or distracting like some other restaurants. The people that work there are always so helpful. They're always willing to substitute foods in whatever way I ask. I feel warm and fuzzy when I'm there. Attempted to dine here last week while running some errands on route 2, where there is a serious lack of good food. Typically I will stop in for a cold beer and a black bean burger when I want to grab lunch in this area, simply because it's like the only vegetarian thing in Warwick. This time, however, I didn't make it to the burger. Took the waitress WAY too long to even acknowledge us. When she finally did, it was a rushed, almost running table tap "hey guys I'll be right over". About another five minutes passed. No manager, or co-worker EVER came by to say "hey, Becky asked me to come over and see if I could get some beverages for you"... a really QUICK and EASY fix when you are "in the weeds" as they say. I eventually became so thirsty I had to go to the mens room and drink tap water out of the sink by forming a bowl with my hands. Thanks Becky (btw, I never actually got her real name, Beckys just a fictitious one, made up for the sake of this review). Finally I decided 15 minutes was waaaaay too long to wait for a water, so I left. On the way out the hostess smiled and opened the door and I said "thanks, everything was great". Bottomless chips and salsa are my favorite part of Chili's. Good drinks and pretty decent veggie or chicken fajitas when you are feelings something quick. It is a chain restaurant so you know what you are getting when you arrive. Anytime I have been there the servers have been very friendly. The currently have a special three for $10 that includes a drink, salad, and entree. Dont get it. You get such small portions your going to leave hungry. I chose the steak. The salad was in a small bowl the size of a cup of soup. My steak was the size of the hamburger you would get in a slider and thin as a McDonald's burger. The server must have been embarrassed to bring it to the table especially when he saw the look on our faces when he served. it. I almost burst out laughing when he asked me to cut it to see if it was cooked ok. Im thinking how could it possibly be cooked medium rare being so thin and I was right. There was no pink to be found. Other options looked pretty good and I have been here before and was satisfied. Just stay away from the specials. read more

If you haven't been to Chili's in a while, I definitely recommend trying it out again. Their whole menu has been re-done.. I used to dislike Chili's since everything on the menu had corn in it, and I'm not that crazy about Mexican style food, but with the new menu, I'm impressed. There's about 5 pages of everything you can think of, from chicken to steak to shrimp to fajitas to pizza, etc. They have bottomless chips & salsa, great beverages, and a 2 for $20 deal (2 full entrees and an appetizer)... and the service is always above par. read more

I've been going to this Chilis for quite awhile , I found within the last year or so it's been on the decline. However, today I've vowed never to step into this Particular Chili's ever again! The bartender had a puss on her face the entire time, her service and people skills were horrible. I watched two people come in for online orders to be ignored into she felt a need to acknowledge their presence. Mind you the area was empty!!! One order sat on the counter for no less than 15 minutes as the recipient waiting ..... my drink tasted like something that was store bought , pre-mixed glass of disgustingness!!! My boyfriend and i came here at 10 pm, our first time at this location. It was dead, just us and another couple at the bar. Both of the bartenders were great, and very attentive even at the end when they didn't have to be. Chili's can seem like a random location to grab some lunch to some, but my good friend had a gift card so we stopped on in for a bite. Greeted as we walked in the door, we were directed to sit wherever we wanted. We chose the inside near the bar because of the high top tables. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to sign up for the app for some free chips and salsa. I often overlook Chili's, but I was impressed this time around. Both my friend and I enjoyed our meal and I was impressed to say the least. I didn't really know what to expect because I hadn't been here in such a long time, but the menu has plenty of options and the food was delicious. I put this place about your TGI Friday's or Applebees for sure. If I had the option I'd give it 3.5. I don't often like to review chains, but since my experience was so good I figured I'd reach out and let people know not to sleep on Chili's when it comes to good food! read more

First off when i ask a waitress a question about the menu i don't need her to reread it for me..I'm asking for a reason. 20 minutes after ordering we still didn't get our drinks or chips n salsa. Really?! It wasnt that busy. So i got the manager and all she said was sorry and walked away. On top of the 20 minutes, we waited another 20 for the entree. I will most likely never be back. Let me begin by disclosing that I am not a fan of chain restaurants. However, this One is truly an exemption! We prefer to sit at the bar at this location because the bartender Sara is superb! She is friendly, efficient, and is definitely on top of her game! The traditional Margarita was delicious and only $5.00 a perfect blend of ingred and of course, accompanied with Chili's fresh nacho chips and salsa . A great start! Continued with their California flatbread pizza which was a pleasant tasting treat. Perfect thickness and cooked just right with nice combination of toppings. The chicken breast chili Mango was spicy hot. Beware,as it was hotter than I expected! I normally like spicy dishes so it's not a concern for me. However, you'll need extra Margaritas to put the fire out from this dish. Kudos to the manager and staff at this location ! read more

My sister and I went to this Chili's location last night very close to closing time. We were famished and thirsty after shopping at a large consignment sale nearby. Our server Rachel was so upbeat, she didn't act in the least bit bothered that we came in at the end of her shift. She was very helpful with dietary suggestions for my sister who has Celiac. There were some "garlic pickles" on the burger we shared and holy heck, they were disgusting. It seemed they were chopped or small so we couldn't pull them off. Niece hated her "kid" cheese pizza; I tasted it and understood - too "fancy" - weird. We were not charged for the pizza that my niece didn't eat, but it didn't help the fact that after we left Chilis, we had to get her something else to eat. Ordered to-go online. Half of the order was correct, the other half was just oddly messed up. Fajita dish was prepared well and tasted fine, appetizer dish was fine. My biggest concern was when my grilled chicken sandwich was completely pulled apart when I opened my take-out box that it looked more like a salad than a sandwich! I do not blame the kitchen because the sandwich itself (when put together by myself in normal, sandwich style) tasted good! The to-go person must have a questionable intelligence if he's going to be ok giving this type of horrifically packaged food to guests! Another issue was that I modified "NO JALAPENOS" and to my dismay, there were jalapenos in the dish. Very peculiar. Usually a grasp of the English language is a requirement for work these days... Went here on a Saturday night with in laws. It's a staple for them in CT. Sad to say this visit made them rethink ever going back. When we arrived and we're seated in a booth. Greeted by our waitress, from there on it was a rush downhill. We ordered our drinks (water and frozen margaritas). After 10 minutes we received the drinks (water and margaritas). My in laws told the waitress that the margaritas were on the rocks and not frozen. She brought them back to the bar and the bar put the on the rocks margaritas in the blender and blended them. The margaritas arrived back frothy. We called over the waitress once more and she didn't see anything wrong with the drink order. She called over another waiter for his opinion. He told her that what was on the table was not a frozen margarita. He told her to start over and enter them differently in the computer. We're now 25 minutes in. No food order put in, no chips and Salsa on the table. My husband then asked for chips and salsa, they finally arrived 10 minutes later. When those chips arrived my in laws requested another order. So we didn't run out. 15 minutes later we were given salsa. No chips. It seemed as if everything that could go wrong, Did. Needless to say we won't be visiting again. read more

Sadly, things have really gone downhill at this particular location. It used to be such a different place. (In a much better way) Our last two visits to this location went from bad to worse. Two visits ago: The issues during THIS VISIT were food quality issues; *****I ordered the Chicken Sandwich. My sandwich roll was BEYOND STALE. My fries were not newly made nor were they hot. They were those crappy, lukewarm, sitting in the window fries. Back to the roll...it was so unacceptable! How could they serve that?? Oh and it's not over... My fiance ordered the Margarita Grilled Chicken. While it looked as it should, it was cold. Not even leaning towards hot. Barely lukewarm. He had me try a bite so I could see just how cold it was. The waitress came over to see how we were doing and my husband explained that his meal was barely even lukewarm. She kindly apologized and said she'd have them make him a new one. While he appreciated her offer, he wanted to eat with me so he insisted that she simply heat it in the microwave. She was reluctant to do this as she felt he shouldn't have to eat microwaved food at a restaurant. Again, he said it would be ok, he just wanted to eat. I also told her my fries were cold. She said she would have new ones made for me. (At this point I hadn't discovered my stale roll yet) She took his plate and microwaved it. She returns with his plate but when he takes a bite he couldn't believe it, It STILL wasn't hot!!!! It was the exact SAME temperature!! There comes a time when your so hungry and while you tried to make things better, you just have to surrender and eat it as is. So far, not so good for neither of us. At the end of the meal, I had a plate of cold fries I couldn't enjoy. She never brought me new fries. I guess she forgot. I picked the chicken out of my sandwich and ate that but I just couldn't eat a stale roll. Everything about my order was wrong and everything about my husband's order was cold. We chalked it up to a bad experience but didn't write them off. We figured it was just this once. ****Which brings us to our last/most recent visit. We walked into the lobby. Stood there. Nobody greeted us, so we waited..... and we stood there.....and stood there..................finally someone came over!!! She seats us...leaves. The seat is covered in sticky substance. It appears to be dried up, sticky soda. I slide away from it and just said, It's ok, I'll just sit on this side of the seat." We then both realize our feet are in a puddle. We look under the table, there is a huge puddle of something. There's also a spoon with a chunk of hot fudge on it, some napkins and fries. So far so good? NO. The experience is horrific. We are grossed out by how dirty this table is and how could they even consider putting a customer at this table? We stand up, go back to the front hoping to get a cleaner table. We are in the front, waiting. Nobody is around (again) so we stand there. I look over and notice there is a man who appears to be a manager. He is fiddling with the napkins or something at the servers station. He has no interest in the customers in the lobby. (Us) My husband and I look at each other and we both say, "This place is gross." We agree that we are leaving and we walk out the door. Sadly, no one noticed. read more
