The service was quick and me and my husband was greated with a smile. I ordered the fish tacos and they were great.

The Brook boasts an incredible outdoor space and beautiful bar area with plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. The one page menu features everything from flat breads, shared plates/appetizers to sliders and main dishes featuring everything from fish tacos to steak. Our friendly server,Jacob made us feel right at home. He suggested the Pontiac Berry Spritz, and it did not disappoint! His professional yet personable presence made our evening at The Brook enjoyable. He showed us the beautiful outdoor space which we didn't know about, and we immediately envisioned ourselves there hanging with friends on the beautiful patio. Not impressed - I recently dropped $153 (inclusive of tax/tip) for brunch for 4 people and three of us left still hungry. They really should tell you on the menu that the crab cake Benedict only comes with ONE (1) crab cake and poached egg. Sure, it's prettied up with some nice hollandaise sauce and a few micro-greens, but for $20 we all expected just a BIT more food. It didn't even have an English muffin, and the side of sautéed potatoes was less than a half cup - a toddler-sized serving. My son in law (who is a bodybuilder) daughter and I all ordered this, and were underwhelmed at the micro-serving. Ordered a side of toast (an extra $5) to try and fill us up. The traditional eggs Benedict ($18) at least came with 2, so a somewhat more normal-sized entree, although still small compared to most breakfast places. The waiter was very nice and the food was tasty; but so under-sized and over-priced I cannot leave more than 2 stars. We will not be back. read more

I had a wonderful breakfast experience with great dining options. I opted for the yogurt and granola parfait, paired with amazing coffee. The spacious dining area and outdoor deck by the brook added to the ambiance. Service was outstanding both days, with Mishi on Wednesday and Asia on Thursday, who were both kind and professional, providing personalized attention despite the restaurant being busy. read more

We stayed at the hotel, The Loom, for a night away and my wife selected the room booking that included $50 towards breakfast. We made it down for brunch and we were so happy we did. Pancakes were huge. The potato's crispy and nice and thick bacon. Service was so attentive and we enjoyed the bright and sunny space. Our server Laura went above and beyond. read more

We came for dinner as guests of the hotel. They were severely understaffed and it took forever to get seated or even to get drinks. We ordered dinner and it took forever to receive. The gnocchi was terrible. We sent our food back basically untouched and still was offered zero discount or even an apology. I'm only giving two stars because my daughter liked her kids pasta with tomato sauce. read more

I just checked into The Loom Hotel and needed to grab a bite to eat. A cadillac margarita is my absolute fav, but not everyone knows how to make it fabulous. The Brook Kitchen and Bar is on the first floor of the hotel and Mishi made me THE BEST margarita I have ever had. She was incredibly warm and welcoming , allowing me to sit wherever I pleased and after a grueling weekend, this margarita and her kind spirit was exactly what I needed. We stayed at the Loom hotel overnight and had dinner and breakfast at the Brook. Both meals were delicious. Dinner: Salmon with lemon caper sauce that was cooked perfectly and very fresh tasting Hot Lobster roll with truffle fries which a was excellent. Drinks were also creative and delicious. Breakfast: Bacon/egg/cheese on sourdough sandwich- excellent Lemon blueberry pancakes that were awesome (and the 2 pancakes were almost larger than the dinner plate) Our servers were great- especially Asia who served us breakfast. I ended up at The Brook in Warwick kind of by accident about four months ago when the place I originally planned to go--Cork and Rye--was packed. The Brook is located right across the street, tucked inside the Loom hotel, and I'm really glad I gave it a shot. The decor is swanky and stylish--honestly feels more like something you'd find in Boston than in the suburbs. Think modern, upscale, with just the right amount of edge. That first visit I ordered the calamari appetizer and the salmon entree. Both were excellent. The calamari was perfectly crisp and the salmon had a great sear and flavor balance. Fast forward to yesterday--too hot to cook, so I figured I'd try to order takeout. Their website didn't mention online ordering, so I called and was pleasantly surprised when Madison, the bartender, let me know I could place a takeout order over the phone. Super helpful and friendly. I stuck with the salmon entree again and added the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The Brussels had a slightly sweet glaze and the butternut squash was cooked just right--nice and firm. Once again, everything was delicious and packed up well. My only complaint? The $37 price tag on the salmon dish feels steep. As most salmon dishes are $10 cheaper. read more

What a wonderful restaurant. We stayed for 3 nights and only had breakfast. We wish we could have eaten here for lunch and dinner - we are sure it was as delicious as breakfast. My husband had the Crab Cake Benedict and I had the Eggs Benedict. It was the best I have ever had. Seriously. Thick Canadian Bacon, excellent Hollandaise. My husband loved his Crab Cakes Benedict. Staying here for two weeks and decided to order some buffalo wings to take upstairs to my room. It took about 20 minutes. Brought them upstairs and they were already soggy like someone dipped them in water and threw Buffalo sauce on them. Worse wings I've ever had. read more

A restaurant with a hotel attached. The Loom is beautiful but The Brook is a star. The chef is so in tune with his menu and from the mains to the sauces, he's putting so much attention into making it all. Everyone working truly seemed happy to be there, and with a product this good it makes sense. As a caesar salad fan, the details like chili-oil toasted croutons, full cloves of confit garlic, and fried capers really take it to another level. The gnocchi with squid is another menu standout. The spice on the gnocchi with the freshness of the squid and the richness of the butter sauce was a wild adventure. Such a great meal! read more

Nice looking place yet the service was subpar our waiter Thomas needed more training in my opinion on customer service. Ordered calamari which is on the starters on a Friday night and was told they no longer had any after a 15 min wait as we watched the table near us get served calamari. Ok we order the chicken wings another 10 min wait, time to go. The communication from the waiter was lacking to set expectations. We paid for our drinks and the waiter proceeded to tell us he was sorry and I told him sorry does not help the situation. He proceeded to blame the cook and he did not want to argue. As a customer I expect service for my hard earned money and tip, not sorry. Asked for a mgr, guess what no mgr on duty this evening lol. Work trip flying out of Providence and this spot was in my hotel, The Loom. Hilton property that was very affordable, and the Brook was a pleasant surprise. Great service and food was excellent. Had an attentive, friendly server named Shaneka. Ordered the fish and chips. Everything came out hot and crispy, and it was a huge portion of fish. Chef makes a homemade tartar sauce that was fantastic. Lots of other good looking dishes and bar food on the menu. Enjoyed the meal and great service from Shaneka. Will go here again. read more

I went there once for dinner and unfortunately this will be my last and only time. I asked for my eggplant lasagna to be cooked extra crispy and when I got it, it came back soggy and had a wet dog taste. When I asked the server about it the poor thing had her hands tied because frankly the chef there is a diva and cannot be told boo about his food without him getting huffy and offended. The chef single handedly ruined my experience because he acts like he's a culinary Picasso when in fact he's a miserable man who's the furthest thing from an artist (yes, I heard him yelling in the back). He made the ambience completely awful with his bad attitude and miserable energy. No wonder the food reflects this! Save your time and money and don't go here at least not for eggplant. read more

We stayed at the Loom Hotel. We had breakfast twice during our stay. The service was friendly and decor ok- although the dining room was cold both mornings- they have heaters available suggesting they know there is a temp issue. The food is below average at best. The pancakes were thick, dry and tasteless. The coffee is weak (and cold)- so we had to order an expresso to pour into the coffee to give it some taste. I would skip it if you can. The eggs come with strange looking (and tasting) sausage. read more
