This was the worst night for my mom and I. First we had to wait for mayo for my burger and then after my mom was waiting like an hour for her steak and they had to take it back because it wasn't cooked right and we waited another 30 minutes for that but when the manager brought it out she had an attitude and was yelling at my mom and I almost stood up and said something to her but I didn't. Worst example of customer service tonight at least our waiter was nice but the manager does not belong in customer service. I would have yelled right back at her if I could, it was like one of those managers from Kitchen Nightmares. Never coming back!!!!! read more

Saturday night dinner. Told there was a 20 minute wait. Four other parties waiting. Noticed there were 5 open tables in plain sight. When i pointed them out to the hostess she said "well we're busy & we're just giving the kitchen some time to catch up." Are you kidding me?? Terrible service!!! What ever happened to Chili's? I had always liked their food and drinks, their margaritas were among the best. Tonight the food was terrible. The beef was like chewing rubber bands, the boneless chicken wings were cold and I guess their great margaritas are no more, they now come in a smaller glass and all ice. I know the price of food and everything else is going up and I don't mind spending a little more in order to be served something good. Came here to eat for lunch on a business trip. Place only had a few customers in it. The bartender Carrie did an excellent job, was attentive and made sure all was well. Ordered the Guacamole burger medium rare. Came out medium well. I don't know why they ask for a temp if they are going to cook it however they feel like it. It would have been a pretty good burger if it were cooked properly. I would hate to see what they do when this place actually gets busy. Gave them a second shot tonight. Started by telling hostess had bad experience last time here. Wait 20 minutes for a table. That I can understand it is Valentine's day. Got our table ordered our drinks and it started. I ordered a Kailua sombrero and got Kailua and black coffee. Ordered a classic margarita and got brought the Presidente didn't say anything about that. Food came potatoes were ice cold. Had to ask for warm ones. Had the worst experience ever. The server never checked on our table once. Ask for a check she ask if wanted dessert told her no thank you. Then waited 10 then asked again. Five more minutes still no check. Finally asked again and was told they were very busy. I asked for a manager never was acknowledged. Had to ask again. Server came back with change finally and was short. She then told me here is your change don't leave me anything. To start with I ordered the Sam seasonal, which the waiter told me was October fest. I ended up getting a Boston lager. When I told the waiter that it was wrong he brought it to the bartender and she said that it "was the same thing." My girlfriend ordered the top shelf jalapeño enchilada without beans and the toppings on the side. The cooks got that right. The food was over the top with BBQ sauce. The rice had no seasoning and undercooked. My food was ehh. It tasted bland. They don't add any seasonings to anything. The waiter was very nice and knowledgable. Good job Rob. Last night I visited Chilis, my favorite restaurant. While I have always loved the food, I have been let down by the service many times. One time I visited the Providence location for Valentine's day and received my dinner after my partner was finished eating. On Monday night I was a little saddened to find that the Chicken Ceasar Salad was discontinued. I easily changed my choice, but was a little disappointed. So I ordered another favorite of mine: Southwestern Vegetable Soup. After a couple spoonfuls (mostly of chopped cilantro piled on top), I realized that the soup had shredded chicken in it, no corn, and no green beans. I told the waitress there must be a mistake, because I didn't want the chicken soup. She informed me that this is how it is made. Because I had the soup many times, I asked her if she was sure. She said, "Yes. Are you going to eat any more of it." I replied, "No." She removed the bowl from the table and never said another word. Following, she delivered two beverages, neither of which tasted like they had any alcolol. We didn't bother to bring it to her attention because she clearly didn't care. I am no longer a Chili's customer. I would give 0 stars for 0 customer service. read more

I hated my experience there. The waiter was rude, the food took forever, and from my seat I could see into the kitchen and couldn't help notice that all the people in the kitchen had no gloves, hairnets, and wouldn't even wash their own hands! Let me first start by saying that my family eats out often and chili's on bald hill road was one of those places that we visited often. We visited chili's a few months back and had an average meal at best. We decided to go last Wednesday night even though our last meal there was just ok. The restaurant was fairly slow for a Wednesday night around 6:30. We were seated right away, and waited on by a very nice woman. It was all down hill from then on. Our food was terrible, the kids fries were ice cold and I mean ice cold, I ordered a fajita trio, the steak was cooked well done and the shrimp were spiced with a Cajun, it tasted like the whole bottle was poured on the shrimp. absolutely uneatable. I hate to say this but I will be staying away from the bald hill road chili's for a while. they really need to get their act together in the kitchen. PS did I mention that I ordered boneless buffalo wings as my appetizer and they came out totally burnt! read more

My family and I always dine with very low expectations but I've got say this has been one of the worst experiences. The atmosphere is more like a bar with very loud music everyone screaming over one another. In regards to the food, it was ok for a fast food chain. The service was poor. I have never written a restaurant review, but tonight called for one. My fiancé and I had been here about a year ago and sat in the bar area - service was poor and slow. Tonight we decided to give it another shot. WRONG IDEA. The bartender was quickly swamped after we sat down. It looked like he was taking care of the bar customers, 8 surrounding tables, as well as server tickets. Our food took FOREVER. Like over an hour for chips and guacamole and another appetizer, are you kidding? People that sat down 30 minutes after us were getting food before we were. Servers were coming out and auctioning food to the closest person because the bartender was never behind the bar to take care of it. This led to people getting the wrong items and/or never receiving certain items. We have both been in the service industry for years, so we understand a busy night - but this was just not the case. Not to mention, since no one was behind the bar, they had some awful news channel on that was repeatedly showing people convulsing and foaming at the mouth - just want you want to see while you are eating. I can't completely blame the bartender although he never offered any apologies for our hour and 15 minute wait for food or the fact that he was never behind the bar, but where is management? We saw what we thought to be a manager running food, but when your staff is drowning you need to HELP THEM OUT. Their servers were popping behind the bar making their own drinks and completely complaining about it in front of all of us while they were doing it. Everyone was frustrated and aggravated but it only added to how horrible our time was. The bar was dirty because he could not keep up with any of the dishes as customers left. When we finally received our food we were given two side plates which were DIRTY! Gross! I asked a different server for new ones and she promptly got them. We witnessed 3 separate people/groups walk out because it was so bad. Honestly, it was a horrible dragged out, 2 hour experience. We will definitely never be back! read more

we had a very unpleasant experience yesterday at Chili's on Baldhill Road the salsa was like water, the coffee was cold, the chicken was not done it was still under cooked the drink was ordered without ice and it was brought with ice and the bill came to $37 and there were three $10 gift cards and when the final bill came they had charged me for $17 not $7 never going back there!!!!!! read more

We usually love going to to Chilis, but this time was different. We were greeted by our server and then put our drinks and app in. When the app arrived, something was wrong. We ordered the guacamole, salsa, and chips because we had a coupon and who doesn't love that. Except for when there's giant ice cubes and frozen sections throughout the guac. We had to wave our server down after 10 minutes to tell her, she seemed off out by our complaint and asked us what we wanted her to do to fix it.... She ended up microwaving the guacamole. And insisted that we didn't know that guacamole was served cold, yet she heated it up. Again, we didn't eat it because who wants hot guac?! No one. We just ended up wrapping. Then as our entrees came I ordered the shrimp tacos and my boyfriend ordered the prime rib mex bowl. However, I didn't receive shrimp, I got prime rib tacos. I was hoping again that our server would notice that I was unhappy, and not eating the tacos but she never checked back. I'm not one to complain but when there's no effort or apology from the restaurant it's hard to look past the mistakes. read more
