Horrible experience.... I use to look forward to my Friday dinner at Chili's. The food takes so long to come out that it is cold when it arrived. Corn on the cob was not even cooked. My wife ordered a steak, broccoli and loaded mashed and the steak was purple inside and the broccoli and mash were cold. The pasta that came was cold and you can tell that it was sitting and they stirred it to make it look like it wasn't. It kind of sucks that we can't come to our favorite spot anymore. After ordering a Classic Bacon Burger and a House Salad for a 'grab and go' experience, I was greeted by a locked door to the carside pickup entrance. Two girls that worked there were behind the door and decided to snicker to eachother and tell me to walk all the way around the restaurant to the other entrance and then walk all the way through the restaurant back to where you pick up your to go order. When I arrived to the desk, the girls were gone and another waitress came to help me. She told the people in the back that I was there for my order and I heard 'it's bagged and ready right there.' I waited at least 5-7 more minutes (while being the only person there picking up food) for someone to finally go get my food and ring me out. By the time I got my food home it was basically cold, and there were also random bits of pasta in my box. I didn't order pasta and have no idea how it could have gotten there aside from someone completely negligent boxing my order... I will more than likely never be eating at this Chili's location again due to this experience. read more

We went for lunch 5/16/16 I ordered a burger and fries and my wife had lunch special with cheese enchiladas with cilantro rice. I loved my burger and eat every bite. I usually leave some and eat all my fries so it was really good. My fries were closer to cold than hot but we're eatable. My wife really didn't like her rice. She said it was cold and tasteless. She ended up finishing my cold fries. I wish we would have enjoyed it more. We will be back again. read more

A couple friends and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. The staff is pretty friendly. The hostess saw us coming so she held the front door for us. Our waitress was also friendly and always smiling. My water had some orange thing floating in it when I got it, so I asked if I could order a Mango Iced Tea instead. The waitress apologized and ended up not charging me for the Mango Iced Tea. The iced tea was decent. I ordered a Fajita Pita that came with fries. I chose steak instead of chicken. The steak was cooked fine and the fries were seasoned fine. The pita bread tasted fresh. I think this meal's a good choice if you don't want to stuff yourself. 3 stars for the "okay" food and pretty good service. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. It took an hour to get our meal, then had to ask for refill on waters, server took a good 5 minutes before coming back around. Asked for fries and the server just happened to be walking the floor and not even near the back saying "oh they just dropped them so it will be two minutes" and then proceeded to go about the floor. Like she didn't even try to make up a good excuse. Coming from a family of servers- save yourself the headache. A lunch took two hours. Awful. read more

This 5 star review is for Tyson. My husband and I came for dinner tonight. I typically don't write many reviews but the service we had tonight was 5 star. Tyson was very attentive. My husband tends to get antsy when we are at restaurants and the server does not check in, especially when his drink is done or half way (We both come from the restaurant industry). Tyson brought my husband another beverage without even asking. He checked in with us multiple times. Tyson's customer service will be the reason my husband will return frequently. Chili's has gone downhill from what I remember. We sat at the bar, bartender was nice but her service was lacking. We ordered a couple appetizers which came out ... When we finished eating the dished where stacked in front of me, they say there for 10-15 minutes... Bartender asked if we wanted another beer, served us and went back to other stuff dishes still sitting in front of me ... I finally ask a waitress that had come up to bar for drink order if she could take them, without a blink she said no problem and took them. Food.... This was was the biggest disappointment ... Salsa served with chips was like tomato juice, Chip where over salty - clumps of salt on them. I ordered a trio with a tostada, taco and enchilada. As picture shows it was sloppy thrown together. Tostada had to be eaten with fork cause the tortilla was so soggy, flour tortilla on taco soggy that when picked up it split in half, enchilada ok very bland ... The rice was best thing on plate. Upside this was first time seeing the new little computers. We didn't do ordering or pay from it but it's great to be play games while waiting. read more

Let me start by saying I was really shocked to see how terrible the reviews were for this Chili's. I had a fantastic experience when I came here. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for dinner and it wasn't packed at all. We ordered boneless buffalo wings as an appetizer and it was way better than I thought it was going to be. I mean, personally, I don't immediately think "amazing wings" when I think of Chili's, but now...I think the wings are great, not overly battered and just saucy enough! Definitely order those again in the future and recommend you try them. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and was not disappointed! The portions were large and everything was really flavorful. Our service was exceptional and quick. Our server was attentive, incredibly friendly and eager to serve us. We definitely want to come back. Though my boyfriend said he probably wouldn't order the sirloin again. He was not a fan, but his mash potatoes were awesome (he got the plain ones, not the loaded mashed potatoes) so maybe pay the extra and get the prime rib. This review is mainly for the young man last night 8.25.22 that was working as host. He asked us if we wanted to sit in the bar or wait for a booth. We chose the bar as it was immediate seating. The table was a high top and it was uncomfortable for my wife . He could see that and offered to move us to the dining room as a table just opened up. My wife declined as she really likes our server. A few minutes later he came back and said he had a booth in the bar and the same server would be taking care of us. Last week was the first time we had Chili's in a few years. We dined it & it wasn't that busy but service was still very slow. Tonight was the icing on the cake. Decided to give them another try & ordered online to go. Never again. Pulled off and had to turn around because we were missing an item. We get it & proceed home. I started unboxing the food and noticed instead of extra Alfredo sauce the pasta had none at all. Checked the dessert and it was molten chocolate cake and we ordered cheesecake. Can't eat chocolate if true allergic to it. I tried calling and asked to speak to a manager & I was put on hold for 12 min, then I hung up and called back & was placed on hold again for what seems like forever and then someone picked up the line & hung up. I wish I had paid with a bank card or credit card, that way I could've just called my bank and gotten the charges reversed but I paid cash. I will never patronize this business again. I get it's a pandemic but it's not that hard to take your time & pay attention to order details. Wasted $30 tonight. read more

It was very nice to finally sit inside during these tough times. I understand that it's been hard but however i feel like even then they weren't up to par. Our waitress hardly checked on us. I asked for a margarita before we got our food and she never brought it. She also stopped coming to check on us but the people next to us were getting awesome service. I'm not angry i just thought it was really weird because i felt as if we never existed. Our waitress took forever to ask if we wanted the check. No one removed empty plates. I understand times are hard but even outside seating during complete shut down was better service not to mention hardly anyone being there. I am sooooo upset and disappointed it's nov 8th my daughters 14th birthday and of all restaurants she picked chili's she loves this place. Unfortunately upon getting our food the ribs were cold. No big deal I told a male server he asked so you want me to microwave it or make another one. I replied stating hey I don't pay or bring my 14 year old daughter on her birthday for microwaved food. He says ok and yet returns with the tray saying hey I microwaved it anyway so you can just eat it. EXCUSE ME SIR!!!! My boyfriend and I had the absolute best experience dining in at the bar tables with our waitress Maria. She was so kind and attentive and filled every need we had within a matter of minutes. The food was super fresh and hot, we shared the chips and queso app and the two for $25. Our salads were fresh and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Everything had great consistency. We will definitely be back to this location just because of this experience alone. We have dined in before where it wasn't so great but this visit has kept us coming back. The Waitress didn't know the menu, or what the sides were or what was included. The sliders were supposed to come with avacado dip - had to ask for that. Since the waitress didnt know what side came with the sliders she had to go ask, 20 minutes later she came back to let me know it came with fries, I said that was fine and asked if I could get a side of the onion strings. Still we had no drinks or the chips and salsa. We hailed down another waitress to ask if she could get us the chips and salsa. Mind you the place was not crowded and the people who had been seated after us were already served and had almost finished their meal and we were still waiting ... Once the food did come out, it was cold, the sliders were grosse, the chicken was rubbery and guess what instead of coming with fries, they came with onion strings and she brought me an extra side of onion rimgs...ugh! Sure it's a chain restaurant, but on this day, our service was stellar, our food warm and good enough, and my kiddoes were entertained with the table side tablet while the game was playing. Today I had one of the most worst Resturant experiences ever so far in my life. It was so horrible it warranted my first ever WALK OUT. As my husband and kids entered the Resturant we were meeting my in laws who were already seated. After finding them and seating ourselves we noticed They had no menus at the table so after waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the waiter of our area, who was a scruffy looking frail man with a unsightly handle bar mustache. He proceeded to ignore our table but he made sure to go out the way to refill the drinks of the other tables he waited on. After briefly making eye contact with him and waving him over he gave me a slight look of " I see you waving at me" so I'm guessing this meant " I'll be right with you ". To my utter suprise, it did not because the next 15 minutes he still chose to ignore our table BUT proceeded to greet and seat some new patrons that just entered with menus. At This time I am beginning to get furious because it is obvious that my family and I were being intentionally ignored. So I get up and walk to the other side and wait another 5 minutes while I patiently flagged down the other waitress and told her my table needed help and that we haven't been seen in over 20 minutes and that we had no menus . She rolled her eyes at me and said " oh we only have just two of us here. But we'll get to you" then she proceeded to ignore me when I asked her how long would that take. Heading back to the table I am now feeling beyond irate as I prepare to tell my family that we should just leave I notice the ugly handle bar mustached waiter is there taking orders for drinks. So I sit down and give it one more try as my children are starving. The other waitress delivers the drinks which are majority waters that she spills all over the table as she's holding the cups from the rim where a person drinks with her bare hands. Not only did she fail to bring us straws but she did not bring my father in law his coke that he ordered. She says the coke in her hand was for her other customer. My father in law rolled his eyes so hard. And with him being the patient kind Asian man that he is I know that it meant only one thing. He was furious as well at their down right horrible service. So as a family we got up and left and warned the incoming family of their ratchet service. They seemed to didn't care that we were leaving as our business probably wasn't welcomed to begin with based on our ethnicity as all the other non minorities seemed to be getting service in a timely manor, this chilis is terrible they'll never get my service again read more

Just moved here to Tracy from the Bay Area, where we used to order Chili's every week through Door Dash...obviously we love the food or we wouldn't have kept ordering! First time ordering from this Chili's, we waited for over an hour and THEN were informed that our order was cancelled by the restaurant. Just like that. I realize places are short-staffed these days, but if you know you can't handle online orders, then don't offer them! Really thoughtless to customers. read more

I've frequented Chili's in Tracy at least four times within the past six months. Expecting a difference in service on each visit, I'm sorry to say that we've been disappointed on every visit. Their service really, really needs to improve. There's no urgency to seat you. On our latest visit, we walked in and the hostess asked us how many in your party, and we stated 4. She just pointed to some table in the back of the corner, behind the bar and said the menus are on the table. So we escorted ourselves to find the said table....after seating ourselves, it took approximately 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. And nother 10 minutes to get our drinks started. By that this time we've already decided on what we'd like to order. On this particular visit, apparently there was one employee covering all of the tables in that area. We went through almost three baskets of chips and salsa. All in all, it took almost an hour to get our food. At first I chucked it off to it being a holiday. But then my wife reminded me that it was no different on our previous visit when we took a few of our daughter's friends there a few weeks prior. Chili's is a place we go when there's really nothing else or when we need to feed a girls basketball team. My advice to Chili's management is to make changes to the customer service aspect of their business, speed up the process of getting their patrons fed in a timely manner and overall table service...like refills, clearing the table of used plates etc. This is one of the main reasons I'll go to a mom and pop owned establishment...they take care of their patrons because they want them to return! read more

OK where should I start. I must say as in years gone on Chili's has gone downhill each year. I guess I can be very critical because I work for Chili's back in 1986 in Milpitas Ca. During that time , The quality of service and food was exceptionally outstanding. Today for me was the last straw. First, I ordered buffalo wings. The buffalo wings were very very vinegary, they were Burnt, and they had a funny taste. The ranch dressing for dipping was watery, and when I dipped my buffalo wing in the dipping sauce (Ranch dressing), came a piece of lettuce. I don't know about you, but it appears that they are recycling the ranch dressing. I ordered their new bean & cheese dip (queso). The dip was dark brown and it tasted burnt. The only thing that I can also say was worth the wait was ice cold glass of water! Tracy Ca, Chili's needs new management and quality control in place. We visited this Chili's right after moving to Tracy and regretted it. First, we already have a low opinion of Chili's and this visit confirmed why. The food was just really average. Nothing memorable. But the real issue was the service. Our waitress may have been new, but she consistently forgot parts of our order or got things wrong, even after we brought it to her attention. Also, the wait for our food was excessive. The place wasn't very busy and a table next to us that was seated after us, got their food awhile before us. Our guess was that our waitress forgot to put in our order. She obviously knew that she was screwing up, but rather than just telling us, or letting us know when we'd get our food, or offering some type of compensation, she just ignored us. So we were left to get hangry. My advice - avoid Chili's if you can help it. read more
