    Fajitas for 2
    Katie R.

Chili's is arguably not a good restaurant, especially when you're in an area filled real Taquerias and authentic Mexican food vs American-style Tex-Mex. Chili's just won't live up, it's as simple as that. But, my boyfriend had never been to Chili's and was dying to go, so alas we ended up here on a Friday night. To my surprise, the place was packed. We only had to wait about five minutes, but by the time we left, the waiting area was overflowing onto the sidewalk outside (on a winter night too). To get the full Chili's experience, we ordered way too much food with the triple dipper and the Fajitas for 2. For the dipper we got chicken crispers, southwest eggrolls, and sliders. For the Fajitas we got beef, chicken, and shrimp. The color of the beef for the fajitas was a questionable shade of grey, but to our surprise they actually were decently tender. Shrimp was fairly flavorful and chicken was pretty bland. The chicken crispers were my favorite part of the meal, but everything else was meh. My boyfriend got a margarita and basically had to chug it in order to finish it because he said it was so gross. But hey, that's a $6 margarita from a massive chain restaurant. Service was really friendly and food came out very quick, a little too quick in fact. Our apps came out minutes after our fajita main.

Hmm what can I say that's positive? We were seated immediately that's about it. Our server was tied to her iPad for orders and lacked any personality. Our four adult beverages were literally delivered by three people and our food another four. Yes, that's seven people who served us. The restaurant was clean and not very busy at all for a 6pm dinner hour. The food was sub par. The Cajan chicken pasta had sauce but the kitchen staff forgot to drain the pasta so the cheese sauce was non existent. My nephew ordered the triple dipper and the mozzarella sticks had no pull-they were cold. Uncle ordered smokehouse trio. No comment there but did ask for a doggy bag. Hubby ordered brisket quesadillas that were extremely dry even with the addition of guacamole and salsa. The Almaden Chilis has really gone downhill. It was once our favorite...it's time to move on.

Let's see how this locations experience went: Parking is shared at best with other businesses in the same . Inside was a modestly lit atmosphere, which was a bit different for me; not very refined. The service was nice and friendly. The food was not that great, the rolls were mushy and the deep fried cheese nuggets were very hard, now, having said this ;I will continue to come back and try new things. Giving them a chance for a better review next time.

We ordered the Triple Dipper, which lets you choose three appetizers. Decided to go with the Nashville hot chicken crispers, honey-chipotle chicken crispers, and the Big Mouth Bites. The Nashville hot chicken crispers were okay. They had good heat, but the it had a sandy-like taste due to heavy seasoning. The honey-chipotle chicken crispers were delicious. The Big Mouth Bites were okay and tasted like basic mini hamburgers. Also ordered Alex's Santa Fe burger with a side of fries. The beef patties were cooked perfectly, solid burger overall. Customer service was great, the restaurant was clean, and plenty of parking available.

Sirloin steak with broccoli, asparagus, and house salad

Went to Chili's for the first time recently and was quite pleasantly surprised by the menu breadth and prices! I had the 3 for me with the iced tea, house salad, and sirloin steak with broccoli and asparagus. All of which was $16.99! I ordered the steak medium but it felt a bit more medium well, if not well done; it also could have been seasoned a bit more, while I felt the asparagus was over salted. Despite this, I thought this was an absolute steal for a well balanced steak meal. Also tried the chicken bacon quesadilla which was very crispy and not as heavy/overloaded with cheese as I might have expected. We did have to ask the staff for napkins and utensils when we needed them during the meal since they weren't provided immediately but they would frequently check in during the meal. Diner style ambiance was cozy and fun.

So very disappointed! Mark, you blew it and so did the bartender. You guys were so busy talking about your weekend plans that when we ordered two beers and one water. One beer and two waters were brought. But then we had to ask for the beer and catch attention. Except there was only one other table sat in the bar. I can understand if busy but you weren't. What you don't realize is how important tonight was, I was taking out my mother who has short term memory. She wanted to come here to eat. You were in such a rush. I just wanted to take my mother out for an outing and not be rushed. Believe me, my husband and I would have had more beers if the ambience was welcoming. That was probably our lowest bill ever. Next time I'm in town and my mother wants to go out for a dinner I will recommend another place. The smash burger, where were the pickles and onions? The fries were burnt. Please don't bring smashed chips that remind me of crumbs. Do better chilis!

After playing a golf round up the block, we decided it was a perfect time to grab some Chili's for dinner. We came in just after 5pm on a Sunday, and it was packed! Luckily though, there were plenty of seats available in the bar area and we were able to get seated right away. We started the meal off with the triple dipper with southwestern egg rolls, buffalo mozzarella sticks, and chicken crispers. The chicken crispers are so good. Crispy, plenty of sauce, perfect. The egg rolls are good but don't taste as good as I remembered them back in the early 2000s. The buffalo mozzarella sticks though, not a fan of the sauce. Very sandy texture for some reason, I'd stick with the regular one and ask for a side of buffalo sauce instead. I also got the 3 for me for $12.99, which came with a tasty cup of the loaded baked potato soup, soda, and an OG burger. Burger came out medium, which was perfect. It's not a memorable burger but does what it needs to do to satisfy the craving. For a dinner for two, we came out under $40 after tax and tip. And in today's world, that's a good deal for a sit down meal. On a Chili's scale, I thought it was pretty good, food was fresh, came out hot, and service was quick and prompt. Definitely would return if I'm in the area and craving chilis

I always have a great time here, and today when I came in and ordered the Shark Attack margarita, my server Mark brought me a special "true" shark attack pictured below! Thank you Mark for such a wonderful spin on the drink of the month and for the speedy service!

I came here for lunch and because I was alone I went into the bar so I didn't take up a table. I waited for 10 minutes and no one came by with a menu or to take my order, so I went back to the hostess and got a table. Mark was my waiter. He took my order and was very personable. He brought me utensils and napkins and my water and Coke Zero came within minutes. My food also came really quickly as well. Everything tasted good and Mark got me a container for my leftovers and mentioned he could get me more sauces if I needed it. I thought the check would be coming but after 5 mins I realized I could pay for my meal via the little monitor on the table. Pretty smooth experience other than the initial 10 minutes in the bar area.

Never have I ever had terrible or even decent service. Nothing but great hear. Literally took 2 min to get my drinks and refills came by quick and often. First course salad came out quick and appetizer to follow. Main course in a timely manner. Everything was hot fresh tasted and looked great. $10.99 3 for is fantastic. Can't leave here with out getting the mozzarella sticks. That cheese pull is next to none. $50 for a great meal and a great exp. Only down side was 2 stall restroom? Cmon now. Keep up the great work chilis!

If I could rate this zero stars I would. The worst place to eat. The service was very terrible. The manager was a joke. He helped in no way. We went to have a nice family dinner with our son. We were sat at a table that was severely off balance, we asked to be seated in a different booth. Yalene was our server she moved us to a new booth. She took our order. The order was wrong for my husband order. No one ever came by he had to get up and call someone. A guy named Gabriel my husband explained his order was wrong but she never returned. Gabriel then said this is my area she wouldn't be coming to check on you bro. So he took what the burger should have been. Like 10 minutes later the manager Greg came asked how the order was. Me and son finished our food and dessert. I waved down Yalene, if we can have drink refills and please take my husband order off the table. She only took two of the drinks to refill. While the guy Gabriel who was to be our server for that area had sat himself in the next booth what looked to be his friends he brought a pitcher of margaritas and was drinking with them. So if he was off duty I'm just assuming he was since he was drinking with what looked led to be friends of his, why didn't anyone attends to our table?? We we were so upset my husband still didn't eat anything! I tried to pay at the little kiosk to pay it had two checks on it one for $18 and the other $78.00. We walked up to go pay at the front. We asked for the manager. Fifteen minutes later this very unprofessional manager named Greg came with Yalene and we explained to them everything nodded his head and didn't even care if anything just waited for us to pay the bill. Then I told server Yalene we asked to be moved because that table was so off very unstable I told her and you sat more people on a broken table she just said sorry. I said don't tell me sorry tell those people. To the owner of this establishment please know your staff are terrible and we would never ever eat here again. Please know word of mouth is advertising. I will always tell all I know not to eat this location. The manager is terrible man. I don't know how he is the manager he's as bad and ghetto , unprofessional!

I came in for a late dinner. I ordered a fiesta salad with salmon. It was absolutely amazing! Chill's has become one of my favorite Go-To-Spots for salads.. The service here was superb.

Devonte here... ahaha…read more Came here during happy hour Wednesday, left with a great experience thanks to Chi. My guy spent a good amount of time to explain several items as I had too many questions about options and customization. It was pretty busy and all I saw was this guy running around taking care of his tables while trying to navigate through people and dogs coming in and out and running kids. I love and appreciate an honest server vs being given generic answers that aren't helpful. He's a young cat, I like his work ethic, the team is blessed to have a diligent hard worker, and he's hilarious, ahahaha! I don't know how long he's been working here but I trust this guy without knowing anything about him. His customer service skills are top notch and it's a shame to see him be dealt bad cards via entitled/impatient customers but I understand that in this industry and job, it's inevitable. Originally I was going to just order cajun fries but through Chi's wonderful suggestions, I added on the hot honey feta dip which was unexpectedly delicious and finished off with the chocolate chip brownie that Chi also recommended. I've never been to Lazy Dog before so this was an excellent first experience, and Chi has locked in my next few visits of what I'm going to order too - the Pot Roast, the Bison Burger, and the Chicken Pot Pie. Chi spent in total, not in one sitting, about 27mins explaining almost every item on the menu and trying to figure and match my flavor/taste profile and he was spot on with every single one; all that's left is to try the other recommendations he gave me. Thank you Lazy Dog Almaden and big shout out again to Chi! Ahahaha!

I was surprised when we stopped in for dinner to find that the place was large and busy. The decor is modern and feels upscale. When our server was a little slow getting to us, another employee stepped in and took our order. I really liked that - employees covering for one another to make sure the customer has a good experience. (We ended up having a nice chat with our assigned server later in the meal; she told us a little about the history of the restaurant.) The menu offers a lot of options, ranging from burgers and sandwiches to steak and pasta. I ordered a burger and fries, which were perfectly prepared. Nothing really special, but definitely enjoyable. I also had a margarita, which was excellent - clearly crafted by a bartender who knows how to mix a drink. My friend ordered a flatbread pizza. He got BBQ chicken (which would not have been my choice). I looked and smelled really good, but he said the chicken was a little dry. Price for the meal, with tip, was $73. Eating out has gotten a lot more expensive recently... given the current economy, and the "upscale" feel of the place, that seemed fair. I'll definitely add this to my list of places to return to.

I was so shocked and felt humiliated that I could only say yes, then stepped out the store to grab my purse from my boyfriend, who had been waiting outside, to reach my phone. The guy immediately followed me like I was about to escape the store. Then as soon as I got my phone out, he went "Oh actually you're good!", without an apology for HIS mistake and wrong accusation! If I had been a dine and dash type, I would have left the store immediately and would not have waited for the plastic bag. I know restaurants might experience dine and dash many times, but they also need to apply common sense to confirm if someone a theft. Again, if I really was trying to escape to store without pay I would not patiently stood at the front door waiting for a plastic bag.
