Cajun Shrimp Alfredo & Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. Beautiful!
Jeannette C.

Excellent food and service; especially for a very busy Veterans Day! Even though the restaurant was packed there was no wait. Toni, our waitress promptly took our order. The food came out much faster than expected and was perfectly prepared. The manager/partner visited each table and thanked the veterans for their service.

Triple Dipper
Diana A.

Went to Chili's to celebrate my daughter's passing of her test and we had such a good time! We had the Triple Dipper, with bbq wings, crispy chicken strips, sliders and blackberry margaritas. Service was great. Ambiance was comfortable. Will definitely be going back.

Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl

This location was conveniently right off of the highway. Service was fast and friendly. We were able to get in and out in about 45 minutes. There were plenty of televisions to see the games in the bar area. The Chipotle tex mex bowl was tasty and got the job done. Recommended for travelers.

The Big QP Burger

ordered a to go order it came extremely cold couldn't even enjoy it because the temperature of the food was off & my burger orders were undercooked after specifically requesting well done. I am highly disappointed bc I usually have great experience at chili's this time felt rushed & I wad very dissatisfied

He'll yeah!!

Everything on the Triple Threat was really good! The burger sliders were perfectly cooked and very juicy! The Mozzarella sticks were huge and had a great cheese pull. Chicken Crispers were a tad dry but very crunchy. Blackberry iced tea was tasty. The watermelon lemonade tasted like cotton candy. Bu, not in a good way. The chips and salsa is addictive! Service was great!!

Tiki Beach Margerita

Went here on Tuesday September 3rd 2024. One con was that I walked in and there was no host, nor other person who noticed that I was in the front and wanted to be seated, so I say myself. I did seat myself near others in a bar booth table so that I will be seen. Before you know it, a smiling female server greeted me and immediately took care of me. I started with the 6 margherita of the month, and water. Kudos to the server for also giving me water. The 6 margherita of the month was very good. Kudos to the waitress who also let me take my time ordering. First started with an appetizer of southwestern egg rolls, then decided on the fajita trio. Both of the food was very good, and I enjoyed it. Also got a box to take home the fajita, which I ate the next day. Easy payment with the check, and also donated to st. Jude and colored a pepper, which is for the whole month of September I think. Overall enjoyed my food and hope to be back soon!

My son's meal with NO fries
Marc H.

Very mediocre experience. Everyone at the table got food with fries except my 9 year old because they ran out and had to cook more. Not cool. Chili tasted like they dumped a cup of salt into it - yuck! My one son got a cheese quesadilla which was clearly made 1st and sat around before it made it to out table. The ranch dressing has the consistency of water - gross! Our server was great, but other than that Chili's Middletown gets a "D" for this trip. I most definitely will NOT be back to this location.

It's kind of a dive bar, which isn't unexpected as it's not in the best part of Middletown;…read morehowever, it's actually got pretty good food. The server was very nice, the guys hanging at the bar left a little to be desired lol but it is what it is. I got the French Onion soup, very tasty and the buffalo wings, they were large not tiny like some places and very juicy. My sister got a burger and said it was good and the fries were good not like those that stick together, the good kind. We went early evening on a Monday so it wasn't busy but I'm sure when they do events it probably gets packed as the dining area is small.

Google for some reason won't let me post this; it was written with that site in mind…read more If you're going here to revel in the antics of Samantha and the other cute barmaids, read no further; it seems like you'll have a good time. If you're coming here to eat, though, read on. I was part of a 16-set whose reservations were made *three* days earlier for 11 a.m., when the Switch opens for brunch on Saturday mornings. About 14 of us showed up. When we entered, we were told we had the back space all to ourselves ... only to find the tables had not been arranged for such a large group. We helped the staff, which is to say one of the attractive young women probably among those mentioned by name in many of the other reviews, put them together--by which it would be more accurate to say we did it for her. Said waitress was the *only* person working the *entire* front ... there were a few other people near the bar. And none of the cute barmaids. This young woman had to do *all* the waitservice *and* all the bartending. There is absolutely no excuse for letting this much service fall on the head of a single staffer with this much advance notice. They had *three days' notice* that they'd have a big table at Saturday's open. That's more than enough time to get someone else to come to work. That they did not suggests that someone was too busy writing emoji-laden one-word responses to Google Reviews to let this be brought to his attention, or that it was and he didn't care because he needs a little help making this month's boat payment. If this had been the only problem, I'd have left a generally favorable review. But instead, it got worse. A friend in the group who has plenty of restaurant experience themselves and noticed these same deficiencies ordered some iced tea with his breakfast--only to be told there was none available. Uh, OK ... these things happen. Immediately afterwards, I ordered coffee. A few minutes later our cute barmaid returned, and said with some evident surprise that ... there wasn't any. Really? On a Saturday morning when you advertise and serve an extensive brunch menu, you have somehow forgotten to restock something so basic? This is Restaurant 101. As my omelet was being prepared (it was good ... the food is the only thing that got a star here), the same cute barmaid came bouncing out to inform me that ... there was no whole wheat bread to toast for the side I had ordered. Would white be OK? Yes. But I was beginning to feel like the Switch's business model was the cheese shop in the Monty Python sketch, and did something I would never have imagined myself doing before: announced loudly that that would mean another star off the Google Review. I guess Mr. Owner was too busy keeping up on *his* strategy of responding to every single review in order to intimidate people from posting what might be more generally bad experiences from which lessons might be learned to actually check his stocks, much less order more (However, maybe there's an upside to this ... if people want to shoot each other in the future, there won't be any bullets available). And while this experience was not the fault of the cute barmaid, who I should say I still tipped (albeit modestly), since she was indeed polite and charming and (importantly) apologetic the whole time, especially again given that she had to do all the front-end work by herself, she did make one significant error my restaurant-veteran friend noticed. Another of our number had his drink delivered without the lemon wedge that was supposed to be in it. She (yet again) apologized, and came back with several lemon wedges to choose from ... held in *her bare hands* when they should have been in a bowl or on a plate. This is an actionable health-code violation, and the only reason I'm reporting it here rather than to Goshen is that, for all the aforementioned reasons, I don't want her to get into trouble and get fired. When I told my wife about all this, she said that a) she would have stormed out and gone to Dunkin' Donuts (which, for her, is saying something) when the coffee wasn't available and b) $14 for even a well-made omelet was way too much given this display of incompetence. So, Mr. Owner, if this the "trying our best" you bragged about in your response to one of your other dissatisfied customers (and FWIW it seems like those reviews have become more common in the last year or so), you are falling far short. As Yoda told Luke, "do, or do not ... there is no try". Maybe you should consider hiring someone to actually run the house and just limit yourself to being the social-media manager you have clearly always wanted to be. The Switch Inn? It should be Asleep at the Switch Inn!

I feel very mixed about writing this review!…read more First the ambiance- it's a rustic barn feel. It was fine nothing to complain about and the bathroom was clean. Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%!

Too many times the wings felt as if they were sitting under a heat lamp all day then slathered with some cool sauce once it's time to serve. The flesh was tough and dry while the bones were brittle. I've been to other Buffalo Wild Wings, so I know they can do better. But the perk of this location missing up wings so often is that I've discovered the burgers aren't half bad. When my husband told her the drink she made wasn't what he had in mind, she became visibly upset and threw the drink away--even though she hadn't asked for his order in the first place. After that, her attitude noticeably changed. When we tried to place our food order, she was rude and seemed irritated. To make matters worse, when I attempted to redeem points I had accumulated, she couldn't get it to work and told me to contact headquarters. I've never had an issue redeeming points before, so this was frustrating as well. Overall, I found her attitude and the lack of customer service very disappointing.

The eggs were perfectly cooked soft and buttery. And the sour dough toast with that perfect sour dough tang was the perfect edition. Even the coffee in the French press takes the coffee to another level. But talking about Oak & Reed flair the signature waffle was possibly one of the best things I have eaten. The waffle with that pearl sugar is the way a waffle should be made but then they have that waffle filled with Dutch caramel and that mascarpone on top is perfect. The tang, sweetness, butteriness, the crisp yet fluffy waffle it all was an equation for an amazing breakfast item. I could eat that every time I go. Truly amazing. So I was excited when we finally got a chance to try it. And here is where it may have been my fault, maybe I hyped it up too much. So the funny thing when we arrived at the restaurant and I saw another friend. She told me it was her first time and it wasn't good (this was a warning!) she said especially the chicken and waffles. So again maybe it's my fault because I didn't listen. My heart was set on the chicken and waffles and she was right. It was not good. Like how do you mess up chicken and waffles? It was lacking all types of flavor. It was bad. Why 3 stars than? Because their Spicy Pork Congee was amazing! It's an Asian rice dish and everything that lacked flavor in the chicken and waffles was made up in this dish. The problem? This is only an appetizer. It needs to be an entree, which would mean making it a larger portion. It was fantastic! They also had a decent beer selection which we got. The inside of the restaurant is cute. It has so much potential I just think maybe a revamp of the recipes. But maybe another dish would be good. We came for brunch so I don't know how their dinner menu is. I will probably give them another chance because how amazing the congee was I know they have potential to be great.
