Went here on Tuesday September 3rd 2024. One con was that I walked in and there was no host, nor other person who noticed that I was in the front and wanted to be seated, so I say myself. I did seat myself near others in a bar booth table so that I will be seen. Before you know it, a smiling female server greeted me and immediately took care of me. I started with the 6 margherita of the month, and water. Kudos to the server for also giving me water. The 6 margherita of the month was very good. Kudos to the waitress who also let me take my time ordering. First started with an appetizer of southwestern egg rolls, then decided on the fajita trio. Both of the food was very good, and I enjoyed it. Also got a box to take home the fajita, which I ate the next day. Easy payment with the check, and also donated to st. Very mediocre experience. Everyone at the table got food with fries except my 9 year old because they ran out and had to cook more. Not cool. Chili tasted like they dumped a cup of salt into it - yuck! My one son got a cheese quesadilla which was clearly made 1st and sat around before it made it to out table. The ranch dressing has the consistency of water - gross! Our server was great, but other than that Chili's Middletown gets a "D" for this trip. My sister and I came in to have lunch on Cinqo de Mayo. I wasn't the one driving so I ordered two of their presidenté margaritas. Very tasty! Loved the blackberry addition to it. For the holiday they were actually $5! Great deal. And because it comes in the shaker, there is two margaritas in one. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. We sat in the bar area and during lunch it wasn't that busy. For food I got the bacon avocado grilled chicken combo. It was good, but I was really disappointed in how I only got one tiny strip of avocado on my sandwich. Chilis has easily become a go to out here in Middletown, the food is always good, the service is excellent compared to many places I've been in general. Never had an issue and the staff were always accommodating to any special request, and the food is always hot, and comes quick. Don't even get me started on the drinks! My rating is for their delivery service. We have been life long customers of the Chilis located in Middletown however when it comes to ordering food for delivery they are the absolute worst. Food comes uncooked, or missing items such as the boat for the fajitas. It happens so often it seems as if it's intentional. We just received tonight's order and to no surprise, no boat, no salsa for the chips....again. Well, after a failed attempt at lunch at Friday's I ended up at Chili's and it was much cleaner than our first choice. There was literally no wait for a table and we were seated with no wait at all. Considering it was Valentines Day weekend this past weekend, the wait wasn't bad at all at this place. Everywhere else it was a 45min to an 1hr wait and although this place was packed, it was surprising when they said wait time was 10-15 minutes. We got seated withing 10 minutes and were waited on within 5. After ordering our food, it came within another 10-15 minutes. The steak I got was amazing and the loaded mash potatoes were out of this world. My boyfriend ordered a full rack of ribs and french fries ... those were good too but nothing beat that steak I had. Also their strawberry lemonade is the best. Next time I'll definitely get the 10 oz steak instead of the 6 oz. It was worth the trip and wait so I'll be going back. read more

My boyfriend joined the waitlist right as I was getting out of work (about 6:30 PM) yesterday. We didn't get in until about 8:00. At first, we were told 15-20 minutes. We went in, and told wait another 15-20 minutes. After that, it was an additional 5 minutes. Even with socially distance and doing every other table, there were about 3-4 tables to seat. While we were eating, fajitas set off the fire alarm, and we had to wait outside/in our cars (it was raining) until the fire department cleared it. That was about 30 minutes. read more
