I hate writing bad reviews. I think it is a waste of my time but it informs you the reader of the upcoming adventure with this place. I can't be to constructive because I am so disappointed. First I entered this place and no greeting. Then once a staff member came to the front and then handed me a buzzer and stated it would be 20 minute wait and the next person a 25minute wait. mind you they had 10-12 Tables completely empty. Then when I asked what the wait was for the hostess walked away and didn't respond. My thought was to walk out with my family but my wife stated she's probably having a bad day and stated to ignore her. Once we sat down we waited for 5minutes for a waitress to even come by and greet us or introduce herself as our server. First time & Chili's at their Kapolei location. It's much bigger than the one in Waikele, I think. I came in late... My family was already seated & I'm trying to look for them. As I'm waiting for my brother to come get me... No one helps me or even bothers asking me if I needed help. Like where's the service in the front? A girl just passes me and not ask if I'm waiting to be seated or the courtesy to ask if I'm looking for my party. So I had to go find them myself. Ugh. So when I'm seated, the waiter is okay. He got my brothers order drink wrong. When we're ordering or ask for something from him, he seemed really hyper or he just really talks fast. He needs to more relaxed because we felt too rushed. What I like about it there now is that we can pay through this electronically devices that's on our table already. So whenever we're done eating, we can pay right then & there. I ordered half rack of BBQ ribs & honestly, I felt like the meal was mostly just bones. Where's the full loaded meat on the ribs? Bleh. On a birthday occasion, they will happily offer a scoop of ice cream topped with chocolate drizzle. Been here a couple times and I don't really recommend going during busy hours but we recently went on a Sunday brunch hour when it wasn't too busy. Chanell was our server and she was great! She was very kind, attentive, and accommodating. All the workers we made contact with were pretty friendly. Food was pretty good and proportions were very generous. My friend ordered a fresh me bowl and couldn't eat the chicken - it appeared to be frozen chicken. I order a buffalo salad there, which is large and delicious but way overpriced ($14). Chili's has really stepped up their game since the last time I was there. The menu has been revamped, however the prices have gone up a bit, understandably, I haven't been to Chili's in a while. Ordered blackberry iced tea (my fave) and a triple dipper w/ fried pickles, original chicken crispers, and big mouth bites. Our server, Kahana? I wanna say, was super nice and tentative:) i literally had 4 glasses of blackberry tea because it's bottomless haha, but no complains there bc I love it so much! :p it's not super sweet, :) My 2 friends got their order of food first because they got my order wrong, so it took a big long to get my food but server was very apologetic and constantly came back to see if we needed anything while waiting. food was great and yummy!! lots of fried pickles. 2 big mouth bites (basically mini burgers), these were ok tasting, didn't finish. and I love their original chicken crispers, wish it came with more than 3 but pieces are pretty good in size. comes with 2 sauces. overall, love these chilis here :) read more

Previous review is a little harsh. It's Chili's for god's sake ... have you never eaten at one before? It's the same American family restaurant with a Southwestern twist menu that exists over thousands of Chili's across the US. Yes, the food can be greasy, depending on what you order (in particular, the burgers). But the ribs are not half bad and they've got some yummy salads. I go here pretty often, and I usually have a decent experience (4/5); however, tonight was horrible. Firstly, the person at the host stand didn't seem to know what she was doing. She asked how much are in my party, then a minute later asked the same question as if it was her first time seeing me. Another couple walked in, and the hostess proceeded to ask me who came in first: me or the couple who walked in AFTER me. This caused me, as a customer, to feel very confused and bothered. Then, my boyfriend and I sit down, and we are greated by our waitress Chelsea. Everything was going good UNTIL she dropped off our drinks with a "I'll be right back". Well, 10--12 minutes go by before she comes back to take our order. By then, were both pretty irritated because we were really hungry. Meanwhile, it seems that she has her attention more on the other tables than us. In addition, after taking our order she only stopped by to check in on our table ONCE. ONLY ONCE. We did not see her before, during, and after our meal. We decided to give her a little less than 5% because it was really that bad. And my boyfriend and I try not to tip less than 15% because he and I are both in the food industry, so we are more understanding than others. Furthermore, there was no host to send us off with a "thank you for coming." Or anything of that sort due to the fact that the hostesses were standig around and talking. In summary, this was a really horrible experience, and I hope that Chelsea and those girls working at the host stand will be recoached on how to take better care of their customers. I came to this location for the 5th time and this was the best experience I've had we didn't order much which I thought service was going to be crappie but it wasn't. She was very nice and accommodating to my children and had a real smile. We came in and decided to just have a little lunch we had the tripler and the dish with chicken, shrimp,steak fajitas. Everything was on point however the fluffy breaded chicken seemed a bit undercooked, but we just moved it to the side because everything else was very appetizing. To me a perfectly fine place to get burgers and fries. The burgers are good size the fries are usually pretty good. The service is friendly. They have a good selection of beer. I like the philly cheese steak pretty well. All in all, given the dearth of other options currently in Kapolei Chilis is usually one of the only options but that's fine with me. I went this Sunday morning with a friend of mine to watch our games and enjoy the night games. We got there around 9:45AM and took until 10 to get our water. We then waited for our waiter for about 50 minutes. We constantly tried to get our waiters attention and she kept ignoring us and helping the table in front and behind us. I noticed that a table had got there about 10 minutes after us and they ordered their food and finished it before our waiter even came back. And she never did come back to help us after serving our water 50 minutes ago. Making eye contact and trying to get her attention wasn't enough. Won't be coming back any time soon.
