Came in to use a gift card after not visiting for a long time. Didn't realize they no longer have a rewards program or happy hour munchie deals. Service was okay but could've been better. Love coming to chilis for a little easy bar food. Usually not too busy if you come before dinner rush, waiters are usually very nice but they do tend to forget to bring extra sauces if ordered. We let our waiter know and she took it off our bill. Nothing too special about coming here, just a great easy dinner if you don't want to cook at home. read more

It's been some years since we been here and glad we decided to come back. If anything stood out tonight it was definitely the service! Our waiter Chazz and another guy (maybe the manager?) I didn't catch his name - were on top of it! Super friendly, drinks always filled, fast and just overall what you would expect in customer service at a restaurant. The food came out really quick and fresh as well considering how busy they were. I will definitely come back more frequently because of this experience. I think the menu changed since I was last here as well. They have a large section from pasta, burgers, and Tex Mex. Took a break from the hustle and bustle at my favorite chillax restaurant. Chili's long time anchor tenant in the Kapolei Shopping Mall across from McDonalds. Known for their Presidenti Margaritas. Service was awesome from the front to the back. My server did an excellent job and the kitchen staff prepared it fresh, hot, and delicious . Had the Triple Dipper with my favorites Southwestern Rolls and Big Bites. Tried the new item Mozzarella sticks. Wonderful addition. Very tasty . Dined 5/1/26 Ordered the 23.99 (10.99 mainland)) special 3 for me. Chicken sandwich was 50% bun...not like the photos and for the price...sad! Ordered side of broccoli and recieve 4 pieces and for the price...wow! Sevice was not good and really didn't come around to check on us. Drinks were both empty a few times. Very disappointing. My friend and I were craving burgers and we decided to eat at Chili's for lunch on Sunday, 5/25/25, at 11:30a. We were seated promptly by our host. Then our waiter Rob gave us our menus. We ordered our drinks. My friend ordered the Mango Iced Tea. I ordered the 1/2 Mango Iced Tea and 1/2 Mango Lemonade Drink. My friend enjoyed her lightly flavored mango tea while I enjoyed the sweeter combination of my mango tea and lemonade drink. Next, I ordered the Old-timer with Swiss Cheese Burger that came with fries. My friend ordered the Just Bacon Burger with Swiss Cheese and she added Guacamole to it. Our Burgers were cooked to perfection and it was juicy and flavorful with the lettuce, and tomato, and gooey Swiss cheese. My friend loved the bacon and avocado in her burger. We both enjoyed it with our fries that were crisp, seasoned, and hot. We added ketchup that enhanced our bite. Our server Rob was excellent, always checking up on us and attending to our requests. I also ordered their Smash burger meal with fries to go for my husband. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed our Burgers and fries and ate the whole thing. We were absolutely content and stuffed. I hadn't been to a Chili's in SO long! My first job was as a hostess at a Chili's in CA and fell in LOVE with the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I was so excited to see that they add the sandwich back to their menu and it was just as good as I remembered! The service was really good. My wife's girl friend Cheryl took us to lunch. Chili's interior hasn't changed since I last came here before Covid. Clean and comfortable. A bar like atmosphere, but it's well lit so you can see what you're eating. The also have outdoor seating. Very spacious. We were first to be seated when they opened. Our server did a good job, as the restaurant filled up. We you could hear conversations from other tables about the new Don Don Donki. The restaurant quickly filled with patrons. I ordered the small rack of ribs with corn on the cob and mac and cheese for my sides. The ribs had a sweet and smoky taste. A tad dry but I liked it. The corn was a whole cobb on a skewer. We were not disappointed! The service was great from the friendly host to our server ROB. Both individuals had great communication and social awareness; there wasn't a second where we felt like we were not being taken care of. Rob is one of those people who were meant for customer service -- just awesome... a very memorable dining experience in the best way. The food was awesome! I am incredibly picky so we decided to just start out with the Smokehouse combo for variety -- our 3 choices were baby back ribs, bacon chicken ranch quesadilla, and chipotle crispy chicken crispers. *FYI - HAWAII CHILI'S NO LONGER PARTICIPATES WITH REWARDS THRU THEIR APP!!* (or at least that's what our server told us) Honestly, this was the worst meal we consumed this whole year. It was as if the food had been rolled in salt and doused in a salty sauce. We have eaten at the Waikele location many times and ordered the same dish, yet the one we were served at this Kapolei Chili's was INEDIBLE. Even while sipping on a cocktail, the food could not be consumed - that's how bad it was. The manager did comp the meals, but what a waste of a dinner date. We were told there's no way they could change the preparation since the food was brought in pre-seasoned and frozen. Meaning, Chili's doesn't even make the damn thing! The front end of our meal was out of the ordinary as well. After being seated, we waited well over 10 mins for a server to acknowledge us. There was a table that came in 5 mins or so after us and they were greeted and fed well before we were. Once we finally got some service from someone who said she didn't wanna take our table, we didn't receive any food for over 40 mins. I'm assuming we had been seated in a rotation section, but either way, the customer should not be shafted just because you all don't have your process in order or you're feeling like not working today. Never going back to this location and this is why we haven't dined in here for 5 years! The last time we came was outright atrocious with the server forgetting countless little things, even that she took our order already after coming back 20+ mins later asking if we were ready to order. After one hour of nothing coming to the table, she tells us the kitchen was closed so she couldn't make it right. Really... this place has been removed indefinitely. read more

The service is excellent--friendly & attentive. However, I do wish they would address the air conditioning in the bar area. It's often uncomfortably cold at the tables and bar space on the pick up side - which can make it hard to fully enjoy the experience, especially during longer visits.so don't sit on that side of the bar unless you have one hoodie. Despite that, it's still one of our favorite spots, and we highly recommend it for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Fixing the AC would make it perfect! read more

Location is in Kapolei next to McDonalds. We called ahead for a party of 10, they said they were able to accommodate us. As we got there, they checked us in and seated us right away. It wasn't busy at all. We started to notice that it was really hot in there. About 10 minutes later, I asked if the air was on? The waitress said their AC was broken. We decided to stay even if it was hot. She then took our order. Everyone's drinks came except for one person. We had to ask for it. She eventually brought it 10 min later. Then, Everyone's food order on our table came except for two people (they were children). The two people ordered pasta. Everyone was done with their food but the pasta didn't come yet. Eventually it came and getting ready to leave. They still charged us for it. Not sure if we will be coming back to this location again. read more

My wife hadn't eaten here since 2010, sadly, it'll be that long, before we try again. I ordered Steak/Chicken fajitas, my wife got a quesadilla salad. Although restaurant wasn't busy, took at least 15 minutes to get our food. They arrived in pieces and mine was shrimp vs steak, so sent it back. While waiting for my redo (no rush?), we examined the salad. It was full of limp, soggy, dark green leafs. My fajitas finally showed up and of course the steak was way overdone. The server bragged about giving me "extra" chicken, which looked liked it was microwaved vs grilled. No spice, no salsa, not worth the money! Server was apologetic, but unable to make things happen or fix correctly. Someone has told them it's ok to be overly friendly, and act like your buddy vs an attentive, respectful waiter. Our waitress was friendly and attentive despite it being a busy night. The glass window and table we were seated at did have a few spots that could have been better cleaned. But we understand with it being busy they may not have been able to clean up as throughly. Not a big deal we just asked for more napkins and had wipes on hand to give everything a quick wipe down. Dined at chili's on Sunday for the first time. There was a 20 minute wait which I didn't mind. Not sure if they allow people to use their outdoor seating but no one sat outside. Ordered a triple dipper with original crispers, honey chipotle crispers and sliders. Chicken quesadilla and Asian zing wings. Typical American bar food. It was really good. I love ranch a lot so i asked for extra and our server was glad to give me extra. Definitely satisfied my hunger. During the meantime when the food was being cooked, there is a tablet your party can use to connect to your phone to play games. Makes time go by faster. Also you can pay for the bill on the tablet without needing to wait for a worker which is convenient. Our server was super nice and sweet! We came in with 12 people and had a SEAMLESS dinner! This is not what we expected at Chilis. No offense to Chilis, but we expected something small, but nothing went wrong. Extremely disappointed. We haven't been to Chili's in years and tonight was a huge fail. We originally planned on going to Gens but ended up here. The wait to be seated wasn't bad. The overall service was okay although an order was missed. The food though was not worth the $200+ that was spent. My oldest who loves meat got the half rack of ribs which she took one bite and was done saying it tastes weird. The chicken strips came out stringy and bland. Corn on the Cob was rubbery. Fried Mozzarella tasted like we ate fried salt dipped in sauce. Egg rolls used to be good but now it was like one of those put in the microwave and serve falling apart.. Unacceptable. My younger children didn't even like their kids meals chicken pasta and pizza but ate it because they were hungry & this was dinner. The only things we enjoyed were the French fries and my lava flow alcoholic beverages. Even the fountain drinks were watered down like their dipping sauces. Never again. read more

First time trying the Cajun Pasta with shrimp and added garlic & mushrooms per waitress asking if I wanted to add them in or not. Couldn't taste any garlic and the texture of the penne was disappointing. It was super starchy and a lot of them were clumped together despite there being Alfredo sauce. I don't think I've ever had pasta noodles overcooked like this before from any eatery. I don't know if overcooked is even the right word to use... maybe not enough water when cooking? Came here for dinner since it's one of the closest restaurants from our hotel staycation. It's in Kapolei Marketplace so lots of available parking, cha-ching! We were greeted upon entering and it took us 15mins. to finally get seated. FOOD: Mozzarella Marinara - kinda big for me though (lol) but anyway t'was good! It comes with 3pcs. and served piping hot. I only ate one but t'was enough for me to enjoy it. Crispy and toasty in every bite and inside is creamy & the saltiness is just right! The marinara sauce on its side is perfect dipping sauce choice and was seasoned perfectly! Cajun Chicken Pasta - has a good kick on it coz of the cajun. It was creamy and deliciously seasoned. Pasta is cooked just right. Couldn't complain anything tbh, and the spiciness level is manageable for my tummy. Caesar Salad - just okay for me. Not my favorite on that evening. I just don't appreciate salad having cheese on the top. Dressing is on its mediocrity. Service was not that fast and the kitchen was very busy (full house at that time). Ambiance is very Westernized. Typical bar/resto that you can ever have. Love the light though. Shoutout to Weston our friendly and efficient server. It was quite a busy evening and he did a great job attending his customers.
