We went here to eat after doing some shopping and it was fine. We got the Texas cheese fries and queso dip with chips for appetizers and they were solid. The chips were fine and I really liked the dip. The dip was a little tangy but not too much. I liked the flavor of the cheese fries, but the cheese was a little dry. I got the Cajun pasta and it was fine, but the flavor was underwhelming. Not a lot of seasoning or pasta sauce, but not too much. The garlic toast was disappointing. I tried some regular fries from my friend's plate and they were tasty. Our waiter was nice and friendly. The ambiance was fine. This restaurant is not bad, but it's not great either. Wow! Exceptional service! Theresa was our server and she was phenomenal! We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and we were welcomed warmly and seated quickly. Our server came quickly and got our drinks, I was just gonna get an ice water, but she told me how delicious the Halloween margarita was so I obliged. (She was right!) We ordered 3 kids meals, a burger and cajun shrimp pasta. Everything was delicious and plentiful. I love that the kids menu showed meal pictures, for my little one that can't read, this was a nice touch. The restaurant was clean and the view of the lagoon was cool. The food is up to regular Chilis standards but the processes aren't. They don't have the Ziosk on the tables because they don't want to participate in the free chips and salsa perk that 90% of other Chilis do because this location is privately owned. He showed us to our table and as I sat down I said the seat was wet which it was. After the fact he said the seat is wet. We visited this Chili's on a Thursday evening. I had the Steak Fajita, which was prepared to a perfect medium-well, and my wife had the Chicken Fajita, which was also excellent. The service was great, the server was very attentive and friendly, she made sure our drinks were always full. All in all a wonderful meal. The resturant was very clean and neat. The only downside was trying to find the front entrance, the parking is on the side with the take-out entrance, a sign says use the front entrance, but without directions to it. read more

I came here back in the summer time on a date. I have never really been a big fan of Chili's from prior visits but we made it happen. I will say I do love the location being right on the river. I did think that was pretty cool. Me and my date ordered a order of fried white cheddar balls that were okay but tasted just like Zaxby's if you want my opinion but double the cost. She ordered some sort of promotional quesadilla that I am sure they no longer have and I got a burger lol. The food was okay. The server did not get several of my request right which kinda made me mad. This restaurant is becoming just like Applebee's... unpredictable. One night, I ordered the mango chili tilapia (maybe I got the name right) and the tilapia was WAY overcooked and the mangoes were ROTTEN! In my first bite, I knew something was wrong. Look...if I had wanted a piece of cheese toast, I could have stayed home in my pajamas and made a rip-roaring good grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered the "Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla" and got a tortilla with melted cheese on it. I ate half of the quesadilla, all the while searching for bacon and chicken. On the entire HALF of the entree, I found 2 pieces of bacon and 2 pieces of chicken - ALL LESS THAN THE SIZE OF A DIME. Are you kidding me with this? This country has gone stupid with greed, cutting costs at the expense of working class people. I also ordered a Presidente Margarita which advertised top shelf tequila. I would bet you my next paycheck the tequila was watered down. There was hardly any taste whatsoever to the entire drink. I would be TOTALLY ashamed to serve my customers in this manner. $11.00 for the quesadilla $9.00 for the margarita Again, are you kidding me? The manager walked by my table approximately 4 times and during these rounds, he asked the customers at the table behind me and the customers in front of me how their food was. He didn't even look at me. (I was alone - do I not matter?) If he had bothered to check with me, this review might not have landed on Yelp. I am utterly disgusted. This is yet another restaurant in this part of the country that has a total disregard about how their customers feel about what they are served. I feel ripped off at most places I go - and this one takes the prize. As someone who has eaten at many nice places across the U.S., I say "SHAME ON YOU" for not caring. The service was good - the little girl did all she could to make my visit enjoyable, but the food was absolute garbage. What does corporate think about this? Now I live in the area and have eaten at this particular Chili's on a few occasions in the past. I guess I had forgotten on why I didn't go there more often. Now I am reminded and will not make the same mistake. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the food at this Chili's as a solid "3". I had ordered a ribeye, med-rare and it arrived med-well and was one of the toughest steaks I have ever eaten. The grade of the steak lacked any sort of marbeling and was dry and was even a bit of a challenge to cut with a knife. The cheese mashed potatoes were really sad, it is as if they were left on a warmer tray for a quick reheat before sending the food out of the kitchen. The manager was literally walking around yelling at the servers to take random table orders (when they were clearly understaffed) rather than taking any initiative to go and do it herself as the manager. Was a joke of an experience and how the hell did that woman even get a managing job? I was a GM of a very successful restaurant and have never experienced that bad of a manager.
