Service was a bit slow although the place was nowhere near packed and this was the second time we have visited in a row that they have "run out" of the new cinnamon molten lava dessert. I'm just wondering what happened to the Chili's I used to love. This is the 3rd time in a row that this particular location has let me down. The first time, my steak was over cooked and the cast iron dish they served their skillet potatoes in had rust all over the inside. Rusty potatoes was not something I wanted next to the piece of rubber that was supposed to be my medium steak. The second time a small group of us were seated at an extremely dirty and sticky table and got to enjoy a rude waitress that seemed annoyed when we asked to have it wiped down. And now on to the 3rd time... A friend and I had decided to catch up over a quick dinner and a couple margaritas. The place wasn't too busy when we got there but still had to wait for a table to be cleared. For some reason the guy at the front door, I believe he was a shift supervisor or manager of some kind, kept pushing us to sit in the bar area. We didn't really care to much and just chatted while we waited. The guy began to creep us out when we mentioned that we wanted some drinks after the day my friend had. Now, we're pretty laid back and can take a joke pretty well but this creeper kept saying how my friend looked like a fun time and blah blah blah. After a few minutes our table was ready and surprise surprise it was right behind the glass behind the hostess podium where the creepy manager could keep staring at my friend. He kept this up for about 30-40 minutes. Now to the service and food...we will take some of the blame for our server taking a long time because my friend had to take a call from her husband who was offshore. So we asked for a few minutes. 20 minutes later he finally came back. We ordered drinks (that took another 15 minutes) and I must say that they are extremely stingy with the alcohol. I'm kind of a lightweight when it comes to drinking and I always have a pretty strong buzz after one drink. That is far from the case when I order at Chili's now. 3 margaritas in and I didn't feel a thing. Nothing. So that was a waste of $20 (thank God for happy hour prices). Her and I both ordered soup and salad. Simple, right? I know the kitchen goes by who put their order in first, but we all know the soup is kept in a hot box and the servers are the ones that get it, not the kitchen staff. We waited dang near 25 minutes for him to ladle out a bowl of soup for each of us and it's not like the kitchen had cook or grow our lettuce and tomatoes. The food was good though, but it's hard to mess up a pre made bowl of soup that comes frozen from the provider and all Chili's has to do is thaw it and heat it up. But, between the weak drinks with cheap alcohol, the slow services, and the creeper at the door, I won't be suggesting Chilis any time soon. read more

I ate here last week, the service was HORRIBLE. Our server came maybe once to check up on us for a very very brief moment. Needless to say he got no tip, my sister is a waitress and she even agreed he was horrible at his job. Food wasn't its finest. I usually have no complaints for this place cause I love it. We moved into the area and are trying restaurants to find our favorites. First time for Chili's. I ordered curbside online and no one came out to my car. After about ten minutes, I went inside to the bar to ask about my order and no one was at the bar. After about ten minutes someone finally came and she brought my order. It was at least warm. The ribs were good so that is why I gave a 2 star rating. The fries however were cold and the blossom petals were not only cold but greesy. The bad service is not worth it. Not when Texas Roadhouse right next door has excellent service and good food. I will never come to this Chili's again. Food was great. The 2x25$ is an awesome deal with a great dessert. They ware able to accommodate us with ease and ware very friendly.

We were seated at least 6 or 7 minutes before a server greeted us and took our drink order. We ordered an appetizer and then our food before the app ever came out (because my boyfriend only had an hour off for lunch so we were in a hurry.) Long story short, we waited almost 40 minutes before our food was served but we didn't even get to eat it because my boyfriend was already running late for work so we had to box it up immediately. The manager didn't seem to care at all. She wasn't very helpful and should've got a little more involved. Staff is always super nice and friendly. They make it a point to remember you when you come in frequently. My food always comes out hit, perfect and my steaks done rare to perfect. The drinks are always delicious and we make this location a frequent spot to eat. read more

The bar was a total mess while they were washing dishes so I sat at a stool with uncleared half eaten food and she asked what do I want to drink. I said decaf and she said it would be 5 minutes. After 10 minutes she come with the decaf and asked for my order. I said I haven't seen the menu because I am waiting for the counter to be cleared. She then grabbed a menu and slammed it into the half eaten food which splattered everywhere. Then she shoved the half eaten food dishes so my right hand was next to unwiped counter and my left hand was still wrist deep in dishes and glasses. She then replaced the decaf and menu on the dirty counter. I asked could she wipe down the counter. She then wiped down an area about the size of the menu. She disappeared and after 5 minutes without drinking the decaf I just left. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before I went to this Chili's. I got a giftcard that would work at 4 different restaurants, I wanted to go to the macaroni grill but my husband wanted chilis and it was closer so we went there, and we both wish we hadn't gone here. Its been more than a year since we last went to a chilis, but we used to like the chain a lot. The place was somewhat busy, being late on a saturday night, it was starting to slow down. No wait to be seated but it took a few minutes for the waiter to get to us. He was very friendly and took our drink order. Got our drinks in a reasonable time, but it took forever for him to come back and take our order. He took our order, we ordered chips and salsa with the additional ranch as an appetizer. Shortly after he took our order he took my husband's cup to refill it and said he would get napkins, and 10 minutes later still hadn't returned. Finally the bartender came with my drink (which was tasty but not much alcohol), and we told them we still hadn't gotten his drink back or the chips, which didn't need to be cooked so should have been quick. The waiter came with the chips and salsa, which usually my husband loves their salsa, but this time it was strange tasting and very watered down, and he forgot the ranch dip. The bartender had to bring the water out afterwards. I dropped some salsa on my shirt but had no napkins, went to the bathroom to wipe my sleeve but there were no napkins their either. I saw a stack by a computer and helped myself. Another 35 minutes goes by and our food finally comes out... My husband's dish was cold and looked like it had been sitting for a while, he saw someone at another table with the same dish and said it looked amazing so he was excited, but his didn't look nearly as good as the other persons. I recieved fries when I asked for mashed potatoes, the fries tasted like the grease was old, my husband didn't even eat any fries but the first one, the bread on my sandwich was very hard/possibly old, and the lettuce was old/brown/shriveled... I have worked in food setting before so I am usually very understanding for issues, but I was very unhappy with what we experienced. The table next to us complained about their food undercooked, and for some reason our waiter's other tables had an extra person helping them out, but that person never came to us for anything, which was confusing. I can understand if the guy was new, but we heard him talking football to a neighbor table for atleast 10 minutes straight! The way the other diners looked and acted gave me the impression none of them were very happy either. Such a shame with all these bad reviews, bad service/food and everything, that this branch of the chain isn't doing anything to make themselves better. read more

WORST CHILI'S EVER - and that's saying something. Went on a Thursday night, not very busy... server was busy, never told me her name, took drink order quickly but then took 10 minutes to actually bring the drinks. Ordered skillet queso my kids like and they rationed chips like they were gold. Chips took 1/2 of the quest then it got cold while we waited for more chips (that I had to ask a different waitress for since ours was MIA). Another waitress asked us if we wanted refills and took care of us. On one of her fly-by's I asked if our food would be out soon and she passingly said they were waiting on the kids chicken strips because the cook forgot to put them down. About 45 minutes after being seated, we finally got our food. The egg on my burger was already broken and leaked all over my bun which made a huge mess when eating. Everything else was standard Chili's. Manager even brought our food and never acknowledged, apologized or offered anything. read more

Avoid AT ALL COSTS. Go anywhere else, seriously! The only decent part of the experience was our waitress who was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is so dirty I slipped all over oily floor walking to the table! The menus and table were sticky and smelled funky. But the WORST part was by far the food. The Boneless Buffalo Wings are NOT MADE OF CHICKEN!!! Beware! They are shaped just like the McDonalds pink goo nuggets but taste so so so much worse. When you bite into them it's like biting into a sponge and the "meat" looks spongy and completely unnatural. The queso which used to be one of my favorite things in the world has turned into warm bean goo. Three of us ordered burgers and they were over-cooked, tasteless and stingy on all toppings. We went in a few minutes before 8pm tonight. 2 adults a 2 year old and an infant. We were told at 7:50pm they were not seating in the dining room so we would have to sit in the bar with a 2 year old and an infant. Well ok.... We walked past 7 filthy tables as the bartender watched me struggle to get from the front to the back hoping the corner table was clean....well it was dirty too. No one offered to clean them so we walked up front to leave. 2 girls were putting stuff in the hostess stand so we told them. They looked at us like we were speaking a foreign language. So we left. I guess this explains why there were more people next store at Dennys. Quite honestly have never had a good experience at this location. Just food. The crazy thing is I then called the location and the GM was in the building....so I can't say who runs the place. I am guessing the servers that closed the dining room before 8PM. read more

Bad bad bad customer service. I work close by and we had a party of about 10 that wanted to go there on our lunch break for a birthday. We called at a quarter until 11 to officially place our "call ahead" which is something they say they offer, but when we get there, we are told that there is nothing about our call ahead in their system. The host then tells us that she will do her best but it will be about 30-45 minutes before we can be seated. (This is why we called ahead because we were on lunch) Our whole group saw a bunch of dirty tables and asked why they couldn't just bus one of those off so we could all sit there and we were rudely ignored. We asked the hostess to go get the manager, she walked away, came back and started cleaning menus and didn't even look at us. One of the members of the group went over and asked her where the manager was and she looked at us with a confused expression and said, "Oh you wanted me to get him now?" Are you serious? Yes! Now! Anyways, manager never came, we left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings. When we called the manager he said he was in the office doing something important. What kind of manager keeps themselves preoccupied during the peak of their lunch rush? On top of it all, the hostess told our group that they were understaffed and 2 servers called in sick. So I asked if we could sit at a booth and table that were close to each other and it would work fine. She told me it would be fine but that she didn't know how long it would take because again, 2 servers called out. Uh, HELLO. If the tables are dirty, doesn't that mean people were sitting at them and receiving service?! One of the rudest hostesses I have ever dealt with and maybe even an incompetent manager. We stopped there so traffics through Houston could "thin out". That didn't happen. But my wife and I go to Chilis every Friday night. Glad we live elsewhere. Stay away!!! Along with three other groups of people, we were forced to wait 20 minutes while there were 5 empty tables that were completely clean and five other tables that were dirty. That's 10 total! The hostess was extremely rude and became argumentative with me and several others who kept asking why they were forced to wait. Three families walked out and didn't bother waiting after seeing how rude the hostess was. At that point, the hostess blamed me for people leaving. This location was HORRIBLE!!! After waiting over 10 min just to get our drinks we were finally able to order our food. When food finally arrived the cheese was burnt on the chicken we ordered, the rice was raw, the hamburger was burnt and tasted like freezer burn, 1 meal forgotten and when they tried again they brought out the wrong food. My mom had to go without her dinner. My son was looking forward to this for his birthday dinner but left completely disappointed in the horrid kitchen preparations. Arrived about 2 30 on Sunday afternoon. The hostess seated us at the table in the bar. 15 minutes later after watching a waitress that ended up being our waitress her name is Ashley walk back and forth by us several times waiting on other people but never saying hi I'll be with you or anything to us I finally went back to the hostess and asked who was my waitress she informed me that it was the young lady named Ashley thereafter Ashley comes to help and see what would like to have to drink I am upset at the timethat it her that I would rather have someone else to be waiting on me because she had not the time to wait on me. The next thing I know she went to go find someone that that would help me and there's a young man by the name of Jonathan explaining to the people behind me about why they had bad service. As he walked by I asked him what to you I manager and he said yes I explain to him the situation and he informed me that it was not all Ashley's fault because she was handling to me customers at one time and he did offer to keep an eye out on us to make sure that we got the proper service. But we chose to go elsewhere because we didn't want to take a chance he wasn't really concerned whether or not we were leaving or not so we left. I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have had awesome service but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had at this location. I am NOT saying do not try this location but if you have a similar experience and you review them here on Yelp it will let the others know that mine was an isolated incident. And as you if you look at my other reviews I am NOT a negative person, I may be hard on restaurants and it is because all I want is to be treated with respect in a timely manner with good quality food needless to say but we left there went to Applebees and I will be posting a comment on there not much better on this given trip maybe it just was not my day to want to eat out read more

This is the worst chilis to ever go to. I am a server myself and I am very lenient with servers when I can see they are busy and making an effort. This place however was awful. Our servers name was Clay and we saw him maybe 3 times in our entire dining experience. He took over 5 minutes just to greet our table and take our drink and appetizer order. After this he took over 10 minutes just to bring the drinks after we had to remind him. Our appetizer was "given to another table" so it took about 20 minutes to get. Our food came out shortly after the appetizer however all of our drink and chip refills were taken care of by the managers because our server was nowhere to be found. At the end of the meal we asked for a to-go coke. He brought a to-go sweet tea and after we said we ordered coke he said "I must've dropped it off at another table." It's not everyday you get a free show with your dinner, but oh boy did we get one! Thought we'd grab a quick dinner and delicious margaritas to end our night, but of course we sat there forever while servers tried to hand us off to one another within earshot. Once we finally ordered drinks once again we waited giving us plenty of time to look around and watch the best scene play out. The very old gentleman at the bar was obviously bothering the couple about to leave, after watching them walk out the door he proceeded to take their food and box it up for himself. After that he started drinking the rest of their drinks, looking for new victims. Meanwhile, a group of people are complaining to the poor bartender about being cut off after being there for 4 hours apparently. Then an instigator from the group went up to the old man after having the manager FINALLY come and tell him he needed to go after a customer came up to him and told him to handle it before he did. The service at the bar was more interested in "to go" orders than the customers at the bar. There was 1 other person besides me. I ordered a draft beer and the Old Timer hamburger. The beer lines were not clean and so the taste was sour. The food took 25 minutes and came out warm at best. I ate less than 1/2 which is all I could handle. After all the "To go" orders were finished, I finally got the bartenders attention for the check and a box for my cold food. Got the check righty away but waited and waited for the box. Finally decided to throw in the towel and left without my cold food. Not a very good Chili's restaurant. You know, the thing about chain restaurants is that, no matter where you go, you are guaranteed to get the same service and food. Uniformity is the draw to going to one of these chain restaurants. Okay let's describe this little shop of horrors, I call a trip to Chilli's. Go to take my daughter's to a pre- Valentines Day dinner here. We got there about 5:45 pm. Busy but not packed. Okay order, wait 30 minutes for our appetizers, flag down our waiter who has been MIA. For him to say someone else got our appetizers. My problem is he could of cared less about our food, he never checked on it or us. Okay, more waiting. Appetizers come, awesome. Now we close to being here over 40 minutes with some fries. People that where seated after us are well into there meals. And I guess my waiter says he is on a roll with not bring food, might as well not bring our dinner at all. By now my 4 yr is scaling the walls like a monkey, we have colored everything available, and my patience are gone. I ask for a manager, he shows up and says if it matters my food is now ready. Seriously, didn't bring it out with him, but I could have it if I stayed. So you now holding my food hostage, instead of being apologetic for ruining my Valentines dinner with my children. So let's sum it up, want to be treated like shit, wait forever for food not to show up, this is the place to go! read more
