We find the drinks particularly reasonably priced and the cocktails are good. We really like the blueberry one. The space is sunny and open. This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

She made us feel completely comfortable and truly made an already wonderful meal even better. Exceptional service from beginning to end! The restaurant itself is adorable, modern, beautifully decorated, and has a lovely patio. But the service and food completely stole the show. We ordered several appetizers, including the bruschetta, fried green tomatoes, corn and ricotta dip, and pimento croquettes. I'm VERY picky, and I genuinely wouldn't change a single thing. Every dish was flavorful, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and cooked exactly right. The bruschetta was so good that we ordered a second round! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crisp with a delicious sauce, and the pimento croquettes were crispy on the outside, creamy inside, and paired perfectly with the sauce and pickles. The corn and ricotta dip was delicious as well. Nothing was too salty, under-seasoned, overcooked, or missing anything. The flavors were spot-on across the board. For dessert, we had the peach butter cake with everything on the side. The cake was delicious on its own and even better with the ice cream. It's rare to try so many dishes and not want to change a single thing, but that was the case here. The food was top-notch, and Olivia truly made the experience. We will definitely be back and will absolutely recommend this place to others. Amazing food, amazing service, and an overall experience that went above and beyond.

I started with the day's cream of mushroom soup with goat cheese. The soup was excellently crafted, and the mild goat cheese was the right addition. A tangy goat cheese would have clashed with the simplicity of the soup. My friend chose the jambalaya, and was very happy with it. I had pot roast, subbing wonderful roasted garlic potatoes for the mashed (which I highly recommend). The bordelaise sauce that comes on the side allows one to create a beef burguignon-type dish. The beef was cooked expertly, so it could be sliced into tender pieces that hold together. We both enjoyed their signature cornbread, of course. My friend's warm apple pie was amazing. My crème brûlée was the only thing in the entire meal that was less than amazing. The sugary layer on top was exactly as thin as I like it. The custard underneath was not impressively silky in texture. That isn't bad, but it also isn't difficult to achieve. It definitely didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying every bite, and it's the largest crème brûlée I've ever had. So, I highly recommend Desha's, and definitely won't let years pass before I return. Addition: I should not have posted my review until after I had tried the bread pudding that I got to take home. Connor, who generally doesn't care for bread pudding, recommended it, so I had it today, heated 1 minute, covered, in the microwave. That stuff is wonderful. If you get it to go, do not taste it before you heat it, because it is clearly designed to be eaten warm. It is short on raisins, but that is a matter of taste, so I can overlook it. It isn't as good as the apple pie, but I got a bite of that, too, so I have tried all three of the recipes that interest me most, although I have to try the blackberry cobbler, too. Oh, and the pot roast was still great the second day.

It featured a creamy dressing, generous amounts of great bacon, and fresh tomatoes. * Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare: A nicely composed dish. The fresh ahi was cut into thick rectangular blocks, and stacked on an avocado purée. It was covered with a tasty sesame soy sauce drizzle that provided a balanced salty-sweet flavor profile, all complemented by a refreshing fennel, cucumber, and carrot salad. * 15-23 Day Aged Filet: Cooked perfectly. THE SERVICE The service all around was impeccable. Our server, Mimi, and the bartender, Curtis, were excellent, and the bussers, Nick and Collin, kept everything moving seamlessly. I was about to order off the menu when the barmaid said they had 2 specials that day. I ordered the special of fetticini Alfredo with chicken.
