I try not to give these out like candy, but I was blown away by my time here. Best chili's this side of the East. My husband and I flew out into town to visit his stepson whom we later adopted and his sweet wife. It was our first time to Chili's since it feels like when we first met back in the 1996. This place was packed! Our server though, this LARGE man with a heart of gold, I think his name started with a C. God bless him. His attention to detail in recommending the triple dipper and the smokehouse combo truly made me and my honey happy as a clam!! Delicious food. Delicious service. Five stars. read more

Walked here for lunch during the work week. I was seated right away and my waitress came over within 5 minutes to take my order. I had chili and the Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl and some chips and salsa. Chips were crispy as always, just wish their salsa was less "smokey". The chili was so disappointing, it just tasted like the spices were not completely incorporated into the chili. The best part was the Fresh Mex Bowl - very tasty and a lovely portion. The service and Mex Bowl were tops here. Avoid the chili and salsa. read more

Sitting at the bar and I was able to see some Pretty gross things. Two employees behind the bar who couldn't keep their hands to themselves and the worst part was watching a man with long dreds coming constantly digging in his head, putting his finders in his mouth and then handling customer food without washing his hands. Absolutely no thought towards keeping things hygienic at all. Eating behind the counter there, licking fingers then grabbing drinks and touching rims. I would never eat here again and would really worry about what happens in that kitchen. read more

This is the 4th time we've had a group of 30-40 at this Chilils for a yearly, bi-yearly "party". Service has been PERFECT every time!. This past weekend our severs were Riley and Mckenzie, manager was Nikki. They were 100% perfect. I've never boasted about my loyalty. I've never demanded special treatment. I've simply shown up, year after year, craving the warm embrace of one thing and one thing only: the skillet queso. Every celebration started the same -- a skillet queso (or more recently, a glorious Dip Trip with double skillet queso) followed by a half rack of baby back ribs. It was tradition. It was comfort. It was home. But today... everything changed. You discontinued the skillet queso. To say this is the worst day of my life may sound dramatic -- and it is -- but it's also true. To take away something so perfect, so reliable, and replace it with something that absolutely does not measure up is a tragedy of culinary proportions. I cannot express the depth of my disappointment. A world without skillet queso is a world I no longer recognize. It will be a long, long, long time before I set foot in Chili's again. Highly disappointed. The one thing I could count on consistently was the Triple Dipper Platter at Chili's. What happened to the Southwestern Egg roll? It was mushy soggy. The wrap wasn't the same. The previous wrap was always crispy and tasty. The wrap yesterday was awful. Weird texture. Why change one of your best sellers.... I can say the chili was good. I only purchased a small cup. My husband and I came here twice in one day! We had time to kill so we came in for drinks and a appetizer. We wanted to sit at the bar and were told we can definitely take a seat at the bar. My husband got a Miller Lite and I got the monthly drink which is the Tito's Watermelon Spritz Rita. We enjoyed both of our drinks! We also got the triple dipper as our appetizer and we chose the mouth bites, mozzarella sticks and the southwest egg rolls. Everything was delicious! The bartender was kind and attentive. We then came back for a to go order. I ordered the chipotle bowl which contains pico, lettuce, rice, corn salsa, avocado, cheese, tortilla strips, cilantro, chipotle pesto and house-made ranch. For my protein, I went with shrimp. My husband ordered a medium 6 oz steak with loaded mash potatoes and broccoli. When we came inside, the employee informed us that they were waiting on the steak and it would be right out. We waited maybe five minutes and they gave us our food! Everything was well packaged and delicious! They also gave us silverware which we appreciated! We had a great experience and when we come back to town, we will definitely be coming back! read more

WOW.... This place is completely unorganized and the on duty manager doesn't care one bit.... We walk in (Three of us) at 10:00 pm..... they close at 11:00pm....... Not a single person in front of us and the hostess says it will be a 20 minute wait. No problem! Sounds good to us! So we wait 30 mins.... And the entire time we were waiting at least 20 people came in the restaurant and left.... NO exaggeration! This hostess couldn't give a damn and also not a single manager up front.... Just an empty stand for 30 mins.... Well, we knew this isn't gonna work out.... And finally she returns and says I hope y'all can order quickly because the kitchen gets mad at late orders.... WOW.... This girl must have taken a class on how to run business away from an establishment! I mean empty tables AND waiters everywhere! People leaving in droves! A complete disregard for accommodating anyone! I mean just say we aren't taking anymore customers at this time! That would have been GREAT! We could leave and enjoy a MUCH better place and not settle for Chilis mediocre food.... I'm amazed they stay in business with the people they have up front greeting potential customers and running them off because of PURE apathy and laziness.... Extremely slow service. Very disappointed by our experience tonight. We had a party of 6. After waiting 30 mins for a table, they asked if we were OK with a booth that only really fit 4 comfortably. We had to split our group. Food took an hour to come. The worst part was my friend's order was wrong so she sent it back, and rather than correcting it quickly, after 20 mins she asked where it was and the server explained - her order was back in the queue!! My friend reasonably asks why is it back in the queue if the order was wrong. The server then had the audacity to say "well other people need to eat too." WTH. Mind you my friend is pregnant with twins and at this point had already waited 1 hour 20 mins patiently. Then our check comes and we are billed for a side that never arrived. When we tried to get that corrected, we had to flag down 2 people, who said they'd check on it. We waited 15 more mins just to get that item removed, and no one came. So we had to eat the cost and left as we were tired of waiting. read more

Never want to poop on the waiters because they do try their best but Chattanooga chilis is my least favorite, the food was beyond salty and had no real flavor, there wasn't a lot of people in the establishment and we still had to wait 20 minutes to even be asked what we were drinking, we opt out just for apps and glad we did because how salty our food was. read more

Asked for a booth we're told we could only have a table. The entire restaurant had 6 tables taken. 4 inside, 2 outside. They said they'd have to clean a booth for us. Sooo, clean the booth. Were sat down and after 12 min I got up to interrupt a conversation between 2 servers. I was told they be with us soon. They went back to talking. Then one of them came out and said they were understaffed. 3 servers...6 tables. Several minutes later water showed up. We ordered a beer, wine and a dessert. About 10 min later they showed up. In the interim I used the bathroom which was very dirty. The beer was cool, not cold. The wine was flat. A dirty Chili's with awful service. This place needs a full clean up. read more

Overall, my experience was alright. After eating here I have become extremely parched, irritated, and disappointed. The food was average at best, other than my cold noodles. I was expecting a top notch cuisine and walked out the door with severe regret. I was looking forward to eating some scrumptious mashed potatoes and instead they brought me bland looking corn which was also cold. I was asked what my order was 3 different times. Then my buddies and I were charged for more expensive drinks we had not ordered. After bringing it up to the server the manager came over to offer us a discount for the confusion, but we still had to pay for the more expensive drinks. This discount was $2. If this wasn't such an established restaurant I'd call this a scam. I would not recommend this chilis, the taco Mac restaurant across the street is a much better option. read more

I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was good and the food was better than I expected. My wife and I both ordered off of the lunch menu. She got some sort of chicken sandwich with a side salad and I ordered chicken fajitas with a cup of soup. The amount of food we received for $8.99 felt like a real steal. Though I snobbishly try to avoid most chains, I happen to like Chili's. In the few days I was in Chattanooga -- and I'm a little embarrassed by this -- we came here twice. The first time, it was pouring, but we wanted to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Chili's patio has a protective overhang. Though the rain was beating down, we remained dry and enjoyed our two-for-one frozen margaritas. Rounded out cocktail hour with their 'pick three" appetizer plate -- chose buffalo wings, onion rings, southwestern eggrolls -- which was substantial enough to pass for dinner. The second night all we wanted was salad. And drinks. (Chili's serves BOGO drinks till 10 every night. Why go elsewhere?!) We sheepishly returned, and hey -- those salads were darn good! I'm home now. I wouldn't mind a margarita -- but I'm Chili'd-out and how much tequila can a person drink in one week?! read more

They have a patio where you can sit outside on warm days. It's located on the corner of Market Street and 4th Street. Their food is always good and drinks are as good as you find around for a restaurant bar type business. I have met friends here to have a fun night and really enjoyed it. I hope they plan on coming back again sometime soon. read more

Aha. Finally found you. I visited here on a trip to Chattanooga in late March. My friends and I were a somewhat large group, sure. We had about 10-15 people. However, the service we experienced was.... pretty bad. There was nothing particularly wrong with the food. The little gaming screen thing kept my friends and I entertained. We got plenty of chips for our dip. That's the end of the good. The BAD: It took nearly half and hour to get us seated. They ran out of a desert I ordered (???) and didn't notify me until maybe half an hour later after I ended my meal. It took a full HOUR to get our checks, even after multiple requests. This was by far the slowest service I've EVER experienced in a restaurant. My friends and I were there on a school sponsored trip. We had a curfew set, which both we and the staff were well aware of. We asked for our checks over an hour before our curfew, but, due to their slow service, were forced to SPRINT to our hotel to not be punished with a disciplinary infraction. It's ridiculous. I honestly wish there was a no star option because this location doesn't even deserve the one star. We came in tonight around 9:10-9:15pm and as soon as we walked in is when the issue began. The host was telling us a wait time and I offered the idea that we could sit in two separate tables ( I pointed at two bigger tables on the bar side as a reference ) to see if that would be easier to do. This man automatically popped off with " Okay, no. You can't just walk in and sit anywhere you want to - do you understand that?" And I said " I was just pointing those tables as a reference " ( my part was completely ignored due to quite obviously talking about us to the other workers. We were there for no more than two minutes and was completely disgusted by the way customers are treated there. I've worked many years at the Chili's in Dalton, GA and I've never once felt the need to talk to my customers as if they were completely stupid and then to turn around and start talking about us to other workers? I will be taking this exact complaint to the manager and corporate as well. read more

My wife and i were in a road trip from florida then new Orleans and then Chattanooga , upon arriving we found nothing but ignorant and rude people around town , dinner time came around. Ended up going to a local Italian restaurant ( Tonys) near by this chillis and their hostess sat us down to then tell us 5 mins later that they were closing up. , ruining the experience in town , already upset i decided to stop at the chillís, and i gotta say what happened to us was amazing , our server Mrs. Heather she was just so darn positive she brought the joy and i needed to try and spend another night in town, she gave us the best service she could , so polite she even gave us some tips on getting around town and having a great time , the food was also amazing btw which adds up go the end of the night going from a 1-10 . Second visit to this Chili's while visiting Chattanooga. The excellent service and delicious food was negated by management's inability to honor their own e-mail coupon. We brought this fact to the attention of management. Their response was Chili's could only honor one meal discount (50%) not both meals. This was the cleanest chili's I've been to. So glad we stopped. We went for drinks and Chris suggested the special for me......presidential (?) Margarita. They were the best. We weren't very hungry but split a classic burger which was delicious. I highly recommend. And Chris is really a good attentive server. TY Chris!
