    Crispy Tacos

Food was absolutely delicious. Fajitas grilled to perfection. We/I ordered the Chicken/Steak combo, plenty of food for 2 people in one order. The Taco platter and shrimp taco platter. Friendly service w/a very clean environment.

Met the girls for "Friday Therapy". I had never been here and was surprised at the quirky decor. There is a wall of dog photos and the back end of a car in another wall. The best thing tho...the food! I indulged in a happy hour margarita and some crispy, thin, chips and salsa and a white dipping sauce. The salsa had a nice kick and the white sauce was tasty. Not sure how to describe it. I had the Chick a Boom Boom enchiladas. Plenty of chicken in the enchiladas and the sauce was unique. I put some of the salsa on the enchiladas, rice, and beans - and devoured it! The current menu is a smaller offering currently then the regular menu, which explains the limited choices. I would definitely go back again once they have the full menu offered.

The best salsa! And try that jalapeño ranch OMG!

Wow! I am so glad the other place we went to first didn't have a liquor license and we left, because this place is so good! As soon as we walked in the decor was so much to take in and it was very interesting! The little girl who greeted could've been in a better humor, but maybe she was not having a good day. She took us to our seats and immediately we could see this place was very clean, inviting, and the smell of the food was amazing! The food here is very good, but the star of our show was our server Shamecia. This woman is such a rarity in most of the restaurants my fiancé and I eat at that her attitude and smile are instantly noticed and very much appreciated! Shamecia greeted us warmly and not only asked what we would like to drink, but suggested several things, one of which my fiancé ordered. It was a really good margarita too! Again, as soon as Shamecia took our drink order she brought us the best salsa and jalapeño ranch dip we've ever had! She described it to us even including how spicy it might be and asked what our preferences were. We had menu questions and again, Shamecia was spot on! She made many suggestions based on our questions and we ordered the boom boom chicken based on her recommendation. She was again spot on with her suggestion! It was so good! Many Mexican restaurants overcook their chicken drying it out and making it bland. Not this dish! It was done with moist and tasty chicken with hot cheese inside each wrap! What a great dish! All the while Shamecia continued to check on us and even asked where we were from and she made several suggestions as to things we could do in the area! The food was great, but the biggest thing I took away from this experience was Shamecia. If we ever get back this way, we will eat here and be sure we ask for her! Thank you ma'am for a great experience in our late lunch with you!

What can I say... I really love Chuys!! This is the third location Ive visited and have to give them 5 stars too. This time we were traveling during Coronavirus restriction times. They had finally opened during phase 1 for dine in. We were not sure we would stay, were thinking more to order and take out but when we saw how well they were following the safety instructions we decided to stay. They had both he inside and outside open. All staff wearing masks and tables "out of service" to keep the distance required between patrons. Inside was pretty empty. Just one table was occupied and they sat us on the other end. Felt pretty safe. Menu was a little limited, as they are just starting to reopen but they tried hard to get exactly what we wanted since they still had some of the ingredients in the kitchen. And service was quick and very friendly, as it's always been at all Chuys I've been to. Started with margaritas, and their awesome chips with dips. Creamy Jalapeño still being my favorite, our server brought extra for me. Among the green chile dip and regular salsa for my boyfriend. They had their taco dish on the menu but steak wasn't one of f the options. Still, that is what I was craving and seeing they had a steak burrito I asked if they could do it for the tacos too. "No problem, absolutely" she said and that is exactly what I got. Two soft tacos, with delicious tender steak with guacamole, pico de gallo and some lettuce on the side. It also comes with Mexican rice and refried beans. Not only do I love their food but I also love their portions. I always have leftovers for dinner or lunch the next day. And this was not the exception. After we were done, and packed everything to go, our server gave us containers to take home the sauces we liked and packed margaritas to go for us too. It was my first time, eating in a restaurant, after these two months of "quarantine" and cant have asked for a better way to do so.

When you walk in the staff is extremely friendly and cheerful. Throughout the meal our server was attentive and friendly as well. I found their salsa to be flavorful and just the right heat. Now for their chips ... we'll those are amazing with very light, extremely crisp and a snap. What causes me to give them 3 instead of 4 stars is the beef options and flavor. There was very little of any seasoning I could detect in the ground beef. You can only choose ground beef unless ordering fajitas. If I missed it then that is my fault as they have a very large menu but I was looking for a bit trying to find a steak burrito or tacos. I have eaten their twice to give another shot since I was in town so long. I will end an improved note stating the chicken was good in a burrito I had. So.... Would I recommend giving them a try? I would say yes because my seasoning desires can vary wildly from yours and you may prefer ground beef. I am a bit more of a standard type Mexican cruise person and this as it says on the sign is Tex Mex. Please do not take this review as a "do not go there" type review but more of a clarity for those that may not understand Tex Amex vs say California Mexican type preparation. Again kudos to all the staff as they were all working so hard and again some of the friendliest I think I have encountered I quite some time. I would say I would go again and may try the fajitas and adjust my score. Again great people work inside so give them a try!

Chuys has the best tortillas hands down. The refried beans are flavorful and I like the flavor in the fajitas.

I personally loved the styling. The first thing that draws the eye is the bar area with what I can only describe as a wall of whiskey. They display literally hundreds of bottles of liquor nearly to the very high ceiling, all tastefully presented and back lit so that warm amber is the predominate hue. Just striking. The entire place was very swank. I immediately felt under dressed , but in reality our attire was on a par with everyone else. The staff was outstanding. Our waiter, Caleb, couldn't have been more genial and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu and highlight the specials. Very good at his job. I ordered Philadelphia Roll with Miso Soup. My wife had the Bluegrass Chicken which made her eyes roll with pleasure. She gave me a taste, and it was, indeed, great. My Sushi was fresh and outstanding. We shared a very good salad. Just first rate fare. Price wise, this is among the more expensive places, but well worth it. Quality costs, right? This will have to be one of our special places when we don't mind splurging a bit. No issues with accessibility with my wheel chair. Spacious, and, as I said, so tastefully appointed. Payment was a breeze with the handy WR code. Highly recommended.

They share the space with Malone's which is on the left when you walk in. The hosts at the front directed me to the sliding doors on the right where Harry's was. I got the Steak Sandwich with a side of crinkle fries. It was good. The fries were crispy and hot when they came out. When our food first came out, I didn't anticipate my sandwich to be pretty small. It was definitely smaller than I thought. I felt like my fries felt more plentiful than the main sandwich. The Steak Sandwich was delicious. I liked the provolone cheese and caramelized onions. And the steak was cooked pretty good too. My only complaint food-wise was that I expected more for the price I paid. I wish the sandwich was larger. Lastly, when me and my friend were in the middle of talking, our server interrupted us to ask if we needed a box and check. Our food was almost done, I was in the middle of eating my food listening to my friend but it was just such odd timing to ask that. It felt like we were rushed to be kicked out or something. After our waitress left, my friend and I looked at each other in confusion for a good moment. Also, we didn't "overstay" in the sense of staying and talking at our table for hours. We were just in the middle of our meal. I've dined in at a decent amount of places, and the waiters and waitresses have always swung by at a good time and sometimes later than we want which is understandable due to busy circumstances. But to ask with half a bowl of fries and a quarter of my sandwich left while I'm still eating and conversing? Maybe she's a new waitress and doesn't understand cues yet, but I've never experienced poor understanding and customer skills from a waitress. Food was decent, the hosts at the front were friendly and helpful, but service was poor. That was my experience and I don't think I'll be back again.

Casual, colorful, the kind of spot where you expect someone to walk in wearing flip flops and carrying a fishing pole. Comfortable vibe. Easy place to settle in and see what the fryer can do. First up were the fried green tomatoes. They came out looking like they'd just won a beauty pageant. Crispy outside, tender inside, cooked exactly right. Texture nailed. But flavor-wise they felt like they forgot their gym bag at home. Needed salt. Needed a little personality. A rare moment where the fryer did its job but the seasoning clocked out early. Then the headliner arrived. The fried chicken at Champy's Famous Fried Chicken has a reputation to protect, and thankfully it shows up ready to work. Crisp, flavorful crust. Juicy inside. The kind of chicken that crunches just enough to make everyone at the table look over and get jealous. "If the deep fryer had a Hall of Fame, Champy's chicken is getting a first-ballot vote." And then came the move that sealed the deal. A dip into Champy sauce. Suddenly the flavor level jumped another notch. Salty, tangy, just enough punch to make the crust shine even more. The sleeper hit though? The cole slaw. Creamy, balanced, and actually refreshing next to all the fried goodness. It's the quiet kid in class who ends up acing the exam. Easy to overlook, but absolutely worth ordering. Now for the tiny curveball. I happened to land there on karaoke night. And let's just say... the speakers believed they were performing at an arena concert. Loud enough that conversation required leaning halfway across the table and reading lips. On the flip side, the crowd was clearly having a blast. A few genuinely good singers, a few that were more... enthusiastic than talented, and plenty of people cheering them on. Honestly, respect to anyone with the courage to grab a microphone in a room full of strangers. So no star deductions for that. The people who showed up to sing were having the time of their lives. Bottom line, Champy's Famous Fried Chicken is a fun place with seriously good fried chicken. Order the bird, grab the slaw, lean into the fried side of the menu, and enjoy the show if karaoke happens to be on the schedule. Just maybe bring your singing voice... or your earplugs.
