I sat at the bar on my first time here. Talked to bartender and ordered the 6 pack original chili mango dry rub with a side of medium sauce and ranch. The wings were perfect. Then ordered the Taco trio of: chicken tinga, beef and grilled shrimp. They also came with carrots and celery. The chicken tinga taco was a little dry and a little tough. I didn't care for their rice side dish. Other than that, the beef taco and shrimp taco were very good. My favorites were the wings and the shrimp taco. Sitting at the bar would be a good place to watch sports as they do have several TV's. Service was good. read more

The only reason that I'm giving 2 stars is because the food and beer are always amazing. The service for the last two times I've been here has been absolutely atrocious. The server this time and the bartender last time, both started off really well and then when they have gotten other customers that what seemed to be not the same skin color, have forgotten about me. With that being said. I love Taco Mac don't get me wrong, but if I a whole person, am given service like this... I'd rather NOT. Was not a fan of this restaurant. Upon entry, the hostess seemed irritated that we had three strollers and four little kids with us. The restaurant was half empty with dirty tables everywhere and the service was very slow. Our server was nice, just extremely slow at getting things and forgetful. The buffalo sauce was hot sauce (two different things) and the boneless wings were more-so little pieces of chicken. Overall, our server was friendly but the food was subpar. read more

Went here on our way back from a Wednesday night out. Recommend by our bartender at Ruby Sunshine where we had brunch. Ordered a couple beers, pretzel bites, and 6 wings. Pretzel Bites way overcooked and tasted like rocks. Glad I had my mouth guard handy. Wings are tasty but the size of my thumb - more like quail wings. I am so glad I didn't see the reviews before we came here because everything we had here was good and the prices so reasonable! We had fried pickles, Asian-style wings, ground beef tacos, & a Chattahoochee burger. Everything was delicious. We sampled a few of their beers on draft before settled on a Dad & a Dead Guy. At the end of the meal our server brought us complimentary cronuts for being first-timers, they were also delicious. Our server Jonathan was awesome! The manager even stopped by to say hi! Great place to watch football too. If we lived here I would definitely be a regular customer. After reading the reviews, I was so surprised by others experiences. We made it to Chattanooga at 10:30pm and was very hungry!!! By the time we checked into our hotel it was already 11:00! I needed food and the only spot that seemed good and open was taco Mac!!! Best thing about it, it was only a 4 min walk from our hotel!! We set at the bar! And was greeted by 6'3 Porter! A running joke of the night was his hight! He had a great sense of humor even with an empty bar top and one drunk costumer who forgot he even placed a food order and left without it! I ate here recently and wasn't that impressed. I had the chicken strips with a medium buffalo sauce and fries. The fries were good. The chicken strips had, what seemed to be, a tempura type of breading that just didn't work for me. There were 3 strips and a medium amount of fries with a side of ranch or blue cheese. The medium buffalo sauce was boring and the strips were actually tough. It may have been the way they were cut, which probably isn't the fault of the restaurant. There is plenty of beer on tap and the big, tattooed bartender was friendly. He checked on me often. It is definitely a place to watch sports. They have lots of televisions with different games on and is a little loud; typical of a sports bar. I will consider going again, but won't get the chicken strips. read more

The Philly was flavorless and it's hard to screw those up, and the fried pickles were so thin it was like eating just fried batter with slight pickle taste. It's been a few years since we've been, but they completely changed the entire interior, it's now a massive open area that doesn't truly block the sound and made the dining room way too small. Worst service ever. Been twice in the last two weeks. Hostess was nice and greeted us both times. But both times, we weren't given silverware or napkins and both times, I had to go to the hostess station to get some. Our poor server was young and nice and as always, I'm nice to them either way. But she honestly doesn't act like she knows what she's doing. This last time, my drink was empty for 5+ minutes before I had to ask the hostess for a refill. Had to ask the bartender for a steak knife for my friend. Our food (which could/could not be her control) took 30+ minutes to come out. Good thing I ordered an appetizer. She was nowhere to be seen for that 30 minutes and we were the only table in the restaurant for half of the time we were there and only 5 tables came in after. It was rough with kids waiting that long. As soon as we got our food and started eating, we went ahead and just asked for our check/togo box since she often was nowhere to be seen. Then our check was divided wrong. Felt bad for the server because she is young and probably never served before. The food was wonderful though which is why I give it 2 stars. read more

She did mention when she gave me the Menu it was the 1st day of the Menu and some items have been deleted and some added. O said it was my 1st time so really didn't effect me. However after ordering the Taco's and we started talking she told me they are known more for their Wings ????? Now for the Taco's pictured. All 3 were good and each had their own flavor with different Toppings. The Beef had the taco flavoring that you would expect and right amount of beef to toppings as did all 3 taco's. Shrimp cooked right as well as the chicken. I did have a couple Miller lights and lets just say they are proud of their beers. With that being said they do have a Beer of the Month which is usually a Craft Beer and offer some kind of give away ( Glass, Key Chain etc.) With your order. I did get there early for lunch and the bar was pretty slow which is why I did get alot of information from the bartender about the Company and why every clock is stuck at 7:00. Our waiter was great, even though we were there at a time split between shifts he made sure we weren't missed during clock out/ins with check switches. Extensive beer list and lot of TVs for game day (Sunday NFL). The food is comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings but actually better, more selection and quality if better. The facilities are just okay, it looks a little run down. There were only two bathrooms and one was not working! Not only was one not working, but the one that was working was quite gross.
