Molten Chocolate Cake

Absolute banger of a place - vibes, immaculate. Food, sure to blow up your stomach and some other things later in the evening. Drinks, so sugar-y your dentist will think you've been slamming gummy bears like your millennial-necessary daily Tylenol. If you go to Chilis expecting anything other than exactly what chilis provides, that's on you. The triple dipper can easily feed a family of 8 and the double burger my husband got is easily illegal outside of the US. Go for a great time. Stop being a snob.

Triple Dipper with the sliders, bone-in wings and naked chicken crispers

Always a good time. When I go to my local Chili's down the street from me! I've gone a couple times in the service. Hasn't been all that responsive but that is just because of the lack of stuff and they always made up for it! I went a couple days ago and the service jumped up and stepped up exponentially. My go-to is always the triple Dipper for the table and personally I'll get the big smasher Burger combo! You can't beat the value and the amount of food you get for the price! Inside. There's always football or local sports being played so plenty of stuff to keep you entertained! Restaurant is clean and the environment is welcoming and easy to stay and be in without feeling like you're rushed out.

I frequent this place A LOT!!! Like there's weeks when I'm he's 2-3 times (I know that sounds horrible). I've had some AMAZING experiences but also some not so good. Yesterday I think was the actual worse. We were sat by the booths near the bar and it took nearly 1 hour for us to get our order out in :-/ I understand the bartender is in charge of our booth but if they're extremely busy at the bar and have full booths next to her I feel like they should have someone helping too. It took almost 2 hours for us to get our check. If it wasn't for this experience it would definitely be 5 stars. Regardless I will continue to come here as often as I do.

Presidente Margarita- my fave
Gnet A.

Chili's is pretty much consistent and I have my favorites that I tend to order almost all the time. My drink is the presidente margarita. I've always liked it and its a good amount they give and leave the shaker at the table so you can finish it all. My food I loved was the crispers but now not so much. The chicken seems dry now and they didn't give the same sauce they used to give with it but the drinks are still good and the fajita plates were enjoyed by my mom and hubby. The service was good. Attentive and with a smile. Didn't have to wait long to be seated. We sat at a booth, place was clean and bright in there. I definitely recommend the place. As for the chicken crispers..not as good as before.

Cold Beer
Monique M.

Traveled into town and decided to stop in for dinner before going to my hotel. Sitting at the bar with a cold beer and their famous chips and salsa (side of ranch) can't go wrong! So good and beer is cold. Service has been perfect! Bartender is friendly and very welcoming.

I am glad Chil's is going through a make over. I was concerned about their cleanliness before. Now much better.

Since we ordered basically one of everything - here are our recommendations. Appetizers GET THIS: 1. Corn dog shrimp (think shrimp tempura) - light, flavorful, crunchy YUM 2. Cathead biscuits NOT THAT: 1. Street corn queso dip not a favorite for our table. The cheese tasted thick and plastic like... Velveeta vibes... not much flavor Meals GET THIS: 1. Hangar Steak 2. Creole shrimp & grits 3. Chicken fried steak Not that: 1. Horseradish crusted salmon - I didn't try it but the two people who ordered at our table were disappointed and wished they would've gotten one of the above Desserts GET THIS: 1. Bread pudding was delicious! Not overly sweet & the added white chocolate gives it that dazzle dazzle 2. Chocolate Espresso Brownie - perfection NOT THAT: 1. Banana cream pudding. This was a no for the table because it was over the top sweet (I think because of the added butterscotch) 2. Peanut Butter Mousse Pie super super thick & sweet. Didn't taste much other than PB - it was like eating a giant spoonful of it and trying to swallow.

Friendly staff overall. The food fell flat for almost all of us. The salads were fresh and good. However, the ribs were below average. Cornbread was stale and not tasty. Biscuits tasted more like firm bread and not at all flaky/soft. That seemed weird to all of us. Chicken fried steak was soggy and not crispy. Drinks were ok. Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? We didn't try that.

It was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated that the chicken had a nice kick to it! - Pork chilaquiles - my girlfriend loved this. - Coconut chia pudding - so good and served with fresh fruits which elevated the flavor further! - kolache - this was the only average item. Not super flavorful. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient. Valet service was $10 and well worth it! We ordered the Weekender, which includes two sliders of your choice and one side. We got the gringo and the redneck sliders and debated which one was the best because they were both so good. I have a few I adore, but my personal favorite will be JewBoy Sliders. I've been to two of the four Slider locations on 6th Street and the South Lamar one, and I've returned to the South Lamar location the most, so this is where the review is going. Their menu is pretty simple. You have an option between two, four, or twelve sliders, or one or two sliders with a side. I always opt for their "Weekend Getaway" with two sliders and fries. There are four sliders to choose from now. There used to be just two, but they've moved on up like Curtis Mayfield. The first is The Gringo with American cheese, smoky mayo, and pickles, and it's your basic slider. It's very sweet and goes down real easy. You eat one and could find yourself eating twelve. They're just a perfect traditional slider. I always gotta get a Gringo. The next of the two originals is the Vato, which is their original spicy slider. It has pepper jack cheese, hatch green chile ranch, and grilled jalapeños. It's moderately spicy, but it's not going to stop you in your tracks. I find it a good complement to the OG Gringo. The first of the two newer flavors is the Redneck, which is like a BBQ burger with American cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon, and fried onions. It's a strong flavor and it's definitely doing what it set out to do, but doesn't have that same immediate impact you get from the Gringo or the Vato. The final new addition is the Red Ass, a two-pepper-emoji threat not for the faint of heart. It has pepper jack cheese, fried jalapeño strings, and their evil spicy asshole sauce. It does not mess around. That sucker has a kick and will punch you in the face for looking at it funny. I love it though. Mix it with the Gringo and it's a combo of love and hate. It's endearing to have a slider that's sweet and lovely and one that feels evil at heart. I always get the fries as my side of choice, and they load me up with so many I always share some. They also slide me a smoky mayo sauce on the side for the fries. It's just excellence in a cup. If you're ever at St. Elmo, The Domain, 6th Street, or South Lamar, you gotta give JewBoy Sliders a chance and be amazed by how much flavor can be packed in their potato rolls. RIYL: All the fries you can give me
