Love this chili's! So friendly and clean...the only thing is if you come on the weekends, the wait can be long.

We ordered quesadillas, pasta, and chicken enchiladas. It's not been 36 minutes since we ordered. There are two other tables in the bar and it's the slowest I've ever seen this location. Our server seems nice, but he didn't even tell us why our food was taking so long. We've been here four times this month and it's never taken this long for our food. We love this restaurant and the gentleman bartender Zach! His customer service is off the charts! Always great service.. tonight, Sunday night it was cold and we decided to grab some soup before a busy week. Bartender was lousy! We were put on a waiting list and after 25 min of waiting, watching EVERY SERVER walk past dirty tables and into the kitchen empty handed I asked the bartender if we could sit at the bar Booth. He said he thought it was open seating and that we could have it once the table was clean, mind you, it was dirty when we got there.. so 25 min later and 5 servers later, we were waiting by the table. A server approached us and said it was not open seating and told us to check with the host. I explained that we had done that and we were given mixed information. We go back to the host stand and ask the host who then explained she would sit us there once that table was clean, that she did have a server in that area. We wait another 10 min while everybody walks by dirty tables, yet is headed to the back.. where dirty dishes go.. and finally we left. What a shit show! Almost 30 min to even be seated because of dirty tables.. not a line out the door, not a long wait, just us and 1 other couple and tons of empty dirty tables. So not only can we not eat.. but the people who are eating are doing so around trash. They gotta do better.. period. read more

Horrible Service I use to go a lot bc near me and quick to drive too but in the last yr place has gone to hell..bad service bad management. Went today waited 45 mins no server or drinks went to bar to order and maybe give hint..but nada still ignored had 3 servers pass me without a word. Spoke to management after pulling him away from flirting with underage girls and he just gave basic apology and moved on like a oh well you aint the only customer here someone gonna pay for this bad service..smh Also has plenty of time to view cooks and kitchen staff..lets just say NASTY wont get into detail of what I witnessed but very disturbing how UNSANITARY staff is despite pandemic..just a peek no gloves and cooks and waitress not practicing basic cleanliness who sits on counter where food is served??? Best night of my life spent here, yesterday 12-13-14 at around 11PM my brother, his girlfriend, two of my friends and I made our way to Chili's because almost every place in Austin was closed or was a bar. I rarely go to Chili's but from what I remember it's pretty good. We were sat down our waitress Meshia introduced herself and her partner Jerremy. She took our orders and brought them out quickly. Refills were fast as well, our food was perfect and our waiters were so flexible and they always had huge smiles on their faces. We had to get To-Go boxes because the waiters kept making us laugh, there was barely anybody in the restaurant we had a great time. I talked to the manager but that was only because she got into the jokes as well, all of us were having a plain ol good time. Also I had the Texas Cheese Fries, oh my god they might sound nasty but they are the best thing that I have eaten in my life. Worst experience at a Chili's ever and thats saying ALOT. After waiting nearly an hour for our food my fiance was told it would atleast be another ten minutes for what she ordered, souo!!! and she should order something else. The whole tables food constantly sat empty for 20 minutes or more before even being offered a refill. Eventually our waitress disappeared totally once everyone was done it took 35 minutes to get someone to bring us a bill! Inall this not even a manager stopped by to apologize. read more

What do I love most about Chilis.....the consistent menu and overall food. I am a huge fan of the explosion salad. I have probably ate that salad in 30 states or more. The one difference the locations can have is obviously staff and cleanliness. This locations staff is spot on...attentive, accurate and they all look to be enjoying their jobs. 20210908 I'll be honest this is a little weird for me because I love chili's, now the thing that felt weird is that it was a long day for me today and I called to place a to go order and the guy said that he was too busy and didn't have time to put in a to go order but I could always go on the app or call back later. While it's not the end of the world, what's the point of answering the phone just to say that he cant do his job? So I pulled over to use the app since I was driving (hence calling in). so I put in my order, when I come in not only was the restaurant slow and there weren't many orders, yet someone said they were there waiting for 40 minutes, but I saw that the guy that was doing to go had his airpods in.... so he doesn't have the time to do his job but he can listen to music I can also say I'm actually disappointed and will probably not be back to this particular chili's again...I myself come from the service industry....but this was the worst read more

I'm usually a fan of Chili's but maybe it was because I was short of patience that this one pissed me off. We walked in and stood at the front for at least 3 or 4 minutes waiting for the Hostess to even appear. She fumbled around for a good minute, like she had no clue what was going on, and then told us to follow her. She seats us. We sat for ten minutes. No one came or even acknowledged us. On 6/17/2017 Our service was great! Our waiter was very tentative to us and came by every 5 minutes it seemed to check on us. We had multiple people walk over and ask if we were okay & if everything was going good. Didn't catch any names but I will remember faces! The food was great and the drinks were awesome! I've been this Chili's for a while now and what keeps me coming back is the consistency of service I get from Zach. Despite me being quiet and not that talkative, he still does a good job of checking in with me and making sure I'm good. I haven't been to Chili's in a longtime and I can't say I'll be back anytime soon. The waitress was pleasant but the food was sad. The queso was more thick, cold enchilada sauce than cheese. The fajita toppings were sparse with about enough for a taco. We asked for more sour cream twice and 1 of us got the cheese. I could go on but I'll skip it and recommend you do as well. Friends and I went to dinner at chili's recently, as all of us could not decide what to eat and chili's typically has a variety of foods to please the undecided. Our server Matt was one of the best servers we have ever had. He was so friendly! He greeted us and promptly brought us our drinks and appetizers. He not only served us our food, but genuinely took care of us and was very attentive. Our food was delicious! The boneless buffalo wings, house salads, chips & spinach dip were genious! Also the monterrey chicken platter my friend got received grand reviews. I definitely recommend this location and this server, before we left we asked if he was the only matt so as next time we could request him, they said ask for Matt H! read more

This two stars review is all about the lunchtime hostess. I've gone here for lunch for the past 2 weeks and I'm done. The first time I came in for lunch there was no one to seat me. The bartender came from behind the bar to seat me. On my way out, I normally say good bye to the host. I said goodbye and she completely ignored me. She was looking directly at me and did not respond. Today I had to go to the ladies room before I left and she actually touched me and pushed me out of the way. She legit put her hand on me. I DON'T recommend. I haven't been to chilis in a while and decided to give it a try. I was sorry I did. I ordered online: original chicken crispers, with extra ranch, corn on the cob and loaded mashed potatoes. Also ordered chicken bacon fajitas. I arrived within the 20 minute window. The cashier was not rude but not friendly. I checked my order before leaving and they forgot the extra ranch. Cashier seemed annoyed she had to grab another ranch cup. The chicken crispers were not fresh and tasted stale like they'd been sitting out for a while. Almost ice cold by the time I opened at home and I'm less than 5 minutes away. Mashed potatoes were still warm and very good. Corn on the cob was lacking in flavor despite online description of season salt and butter. Quesadillas were meh. Overcooked, hard tortillas with very little cheese and meat. One triangle just had a large chunk of gristle and a few bacon crumbles with no cheese. read more

Went to chilis for the first time with my best friends, and everything was horrible. My silverware came out dirty, my plates wet. The food was extremely salty, and came out wrong. Completely mislabeled on the menu that if was beer battered chicken. My best friends steak came out horrible. The sweet tea was watered down. The employees acted as if they didn't want to be there. Horrible overall experience can't cook a good stake and give you 4 small hard chipotle tenders with my plate and worst celery sticks ever. Only seen my waitress twice once to ask for the order which she only understood half of what I told her and at the end. I am huge on Customer Service because I work in hospitality and today really turned out to be an awesome day at this Chili's! The bartender was great friendly and smiled my in house order was PERFECT! I gobbled the food down so fast it was crazy my Margaritas were made to perfection. Here's where it almost went south I placed a Togo order and noticed my chicken was cold AFTER I called my Uber. The GM just happened to be there and one of the employees overheard me saying my food was cold and I would be "Yelping" about it he quickly fixed my order the GM Nick McKim came out with my order fixed apologized and introduced himself. THIS TYPE OF SERVICE will make or break a business and this is why when I'm staying in Austin I will always return based off the service alone. read more

I love Chilis and I crave it a lot. However, this restaurant ruined it for me. I've been two times. Both times, the service was slow and the waiters were un-attentive despite not being busy. It was so bad that the bar tender started waiting on us from the other side of the bar (we were in a booth in the bar area, not at the bar). I ended up giving him the tip instead of the waitress. The second time I came, there was a dirty diaper in the middle of the sidewalk right in front of the door. I tried hard not to think about it so that I could stay and enjoy my meal. 45 minutes later, when we left the restaurant IT WAS STILL THERE! That's disgusting. There's really no excuse as to why it shouldn't have been cleaned up. Needless to say, I will never eat here again. read more
