Delish! This place "smokes" the competition. Had the pretzel bites too. Everything was yummy!

Absolutely so happy there's a Cheba hut closer to me! Ordered the Acapulco gold (bbq) chicken on white bread. It was so fresh and tasty. The staff was also very sweet with recommendations and patient with us deciding what to order. The full bar was efficient in getting the gummy worm cider ready for me (you must try this). I enjoyed the laid back decor and funny little meme pics everywhere like Ice Cube on the ice dispenser. Already craving a sandwich back from here.

I was very happy to see a restaurant opening in our neighborhood and had to try it out today. I ordered the Magic Mushroom and my sandwich was delicious! I really appreciate their veggie options and am planning on trying them all eventually. They also have a damn good variety of chips available, Zapp's are the best!

Warning to those visiting around dusk in summer: during my last visit we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Other than that, love Radio. This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I recommend it!

I got one of their dark rum cocktails. They had some yummy food trucks in the back and several of us had items from Wow Poke which was really good. The weather was nice so we could sit outside in the back area in the shade while we ate. Then we wandered around and listened to the bands for a bit. It's a really nice space. I've been there once before for swing dancing one evening. I wish I lived closer to it but I'm sure I'll end up back here eventually for another event!

There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

They offer both coffee and cocktails (which I'm guessing is where the "day and night" name comes from lol). They're also located near a few other food trucks that are right outside which looked interesting, but were closed when I visited. I loved that they make their syrups in-house and there were so many good options that it made choosing a bit difficult. The barista was super helpful and even suggested mixing two syrups, which I thought was a really cool option to try. I ended up getting a latte with burnt sugar and vanilla syrup. The first sip was great, but as I kept drinking it, it tasted a bit more milky than expected which was honestly my fault. I asked for something not too sweet, so we went with just one pump of each syrup in a bigger 16oz iced drink. Next time, I'd probably stick with the standard three pumps and go with a smaller size so the flavors come through more. Overall, a really solid spot and I'd definitely come back to try some more flavors.

Technically, I'd give this a 4.5/5 for the elevated airport prices, but you're sort of a captive audience and I have to give credit to AUS for at least including local brands, even when they some are tweaked a little bit to be included. (I'm looking at you, 24 Diner's less-anchovy-y airport caesars.) There's not really anything to change about beer, thank goodness. This stand has Austin Beerworks' beer, which is some damn good beer. I wish ABW had a distribution deal in the northeast so I could continue drinking it at my new house. Service at the Beerdrop is usually friendly and just the right amount of attentive--friendly if you're bored, hands-off if you've got a laptop out. One bartender on a slow day even checked on my order at the other food hall counter for me, which was rad. There's a full bar with non-beer options, too, although I've only ever been there for the beer. It can get a little loud and crowded if the wider food hall's busy, but unless you're hitting at peak food o'clock, it's pretty laid-back in there.

However, I was trying to spare some room in my stomach for a subsequent crawl to Hippies & Hops (featuring local beers from Live Oak Brewing). I lucked out on the timing, to watch an NFL playoff game during my visit here. It was surprising that other patrons at the bar were mostly drinking beers other than the local beers that this bar showcases; or alcoholic beverages other than beer. I like the easygoing atmosphere here, where it is easy to socialize with the bartenders and patrons.
