My favorite sweater is ruined. Since a photo tells a story, I'll keep my review short and let the photo make my case. Sweater on the left represents what was brought into them: Cabi black and white French stripe sweater. Sweater on the right represents what was returned to me: Cabi black and diarrhea beige sweater. Tres chic? Non! For clarity, the label does not indicate that the garment cannot be dry-cleaned, and it has been safely cleaned several times prior to this, including at this very same cleaner. This time however, the garment returned to me is not only a different color, but it has an odd texture to it, almost as if it has a residue of some sort. Look, if I had wanted to ruin my favorite sweater, I could have saved myself the cost of dry-cleaning and tossed it in the wash at home. While I won't be returning, I would certainly advise other customers to inquire about their cleaning methods before entrusting them with your favorite clothing. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! NEW OWNERS DISRESPECT WOMEN AND WILL CALL YOU A LIAR IF ANY PROBLEM ARISES. DO NOT USE!! I took my down comforters and pillows to be cleaned--was going to be over $70 but these are high quality white goose down and worth it. Was told one of my pillows "fell apart" in the machine and they complained how it took 2 hours for them to clear all the 'mess'. Said they would replace my pillow. Upon pick up tried to give me a foam pillow--I said my husband only uses white goose down, no feathers, no duck, and that was what I had brought in. Did not accept the foam pillow and they said owner would call me next day. Owner called me 2 days later and said my pillow was not down (I have a second pillow exactly the same that was laundered by them at same time--it is Pacific Coast white goose down). I told them I knew my pillow was not new, but neither was it foam and I did not appreciate being called a liar. I tried to be reasonable and offered to accept a lesser quality feather and down pillow or half the cost of a new goose down. They refused. I said by law they have to replace my pillow with something similar. They refused. I told them again that I was trying to be reasonable and fair with them and wouldn't they consider doing the same. They yelled at me over phone and refused, said they would see me in court. What terrible business practice and insulting to customer. Please DO NOT EVER use this cleaner--you will not be treated with respect and should any problem arise they will attempt to bully you and insinuate you are a liar. Sad, I have used this location for many years, but these are new owners and from a culture that disrespects women. read more

I worked for Chico Express Cleaners for almost 3 years. I was fired because of the heat and I missed work because I was in the hospital. The heat is horrible in the building. I will be 75 next month, and I was not allowed to use a fan that my granddaughter sent. The owner said it was unacceptable because I was sending out a message that they couldn't take care of their employees. I should not have had to explain why my granddaughter sent me a fan. I was asked what I was telling my granddaughter, uh, I was hot. I guess I had no right to tell her that. The owner is very dishonest. All she cares about is money. Customers cared more about me than she did. They were always telling me to stand by the cooler. If they could see it so could she. I don't advise anyone to go there. Even when I worked there, I took some of my blankets and comforters to a different cleaners. I never want to see either of them again. Friendly, prompt and very reasonably priced service! Top notch for any and all dry cleaning needs. Chico Express Cleaners always does a great job and has my clothes ready on time. They even have a rush/expedited service if you need your clothes cleaned even faster than normal (with only a very small charge to do so). Thanks so much for being the best! I will start this review by saying that I have NEVER written a Yelp review. However, my customer service experience was so bad I felt the urge. I was berated by the "friendly" lady working the counter when I had the audacity to attempt to drop off $150.00 worth of dry cleaning "right at 5 o'clock!" (It was 4:50) I don't take my self too seriously and initially thought the lady was kidding, so I played along...I quickly realized she was not kidding and was actually extremely agitated when she barked at me to "not expect them back anytime soon!" I decided if they were so adamant about not wanting my business I would go ahead and take the shirts elsewhere....zero stars.... read more

I dropped off a few shirts at this cleaner. The parking here is very limited, and despite looking like they have a drive up service you have to get out of your car just to get their attention. For "express" it sure did take a lot of time to get my shirts. I asked the employee the correct protocol for the drive up and I couldn't understand a thing she said. Won't be going back. read more

I came here about 8 months ago to get my suit dry cleaned. The service was friendly and quick - my suit came out looking better than when I first bought it - the way they cleaned and steamed it, it looked brand new! Just went over there now to drop off another suit, and it is expected to be done in about 3 to 4 days. On Tuesdays, which is the only day I drop off my cleaning, they give a 20% discount (dropped off on Tuesday only). So for my two-piece suit its less than $10.00! They close at 6pm, it is now 5:50pm, and I just remembered I have another suit that could use some cleaning as well - I guess I'll bring it in next Tuesday,' too, to benefit from the discount. read more

i just want to add my kudoos to this place. i drive from oroville to have my cleaning done here. i am a new customer and will continue to come here. the service is courteous, friendly and knowlegeable. i had a lovely long coat that had some kind of fur and did not want to spend $85 to have it fur cleaned. the sweet counter girl advised me that there could be problems, but she would check with the boss and if he thought there would be a problem, they would call me. i did not receive a call. the coat came out beautifully...i am soooo excited, less than $20. i appreciate their honesty so much, unusual these days!!! thanks again. will see you soon. read more
