I would avoid the Dexter Pay app, though it is easy to use, it keeps charging me 15 dollars for every service which is not what the app said I was going to pay, but my bank alerted me that I was charged 15 dollars twice.. which I'm currently disputing with the app and bank.. so I would just stick to using regular change... read more

It's Clean, very clean. But I'm here because it's open the latest of any laundromat in Chico. 11pm Last Wash 9:30. I arrived just after 9:30 on a Friday night and the place was empty. Gary the janitor of a cleaning service arrived after I started my comforter in the mega loader for $6.75 . Almost 10 years later and due to over a month long wait to get my washing machine fixed (thanks virus lockdowns!) I've had to go back to using some of Chico's laundromats so here's a rare re-review (that completely contradicts my previous review): Pros: - Parking - Clean - Bill changers - Lots of tables - Lots of chairs - Good music playing - AM/PM / Jack in the Box in the same plaza Cons: - Extremely expensive - Problems with machines when inserting quarters - Washers clean clothes poorly - No attendant onsite - No air conditioning - Laundry carts that you can't roll out to your vehicle I was shocked at the price of the washers, and then shocked how every other quarter did not register with the machine I was putting it in. You have to slam quarters in to the machines to get them to register (and you'll be slamming quite a lot of quarters). Did I mention the prices!? Those prices start at $3.50 for a top load that will barely fit three pairs of jeans and go up exponentially. I do not feel that my laundry came out clean as the machines seem to have very short wash cycles (you are offered longer cycles for more money). The laundromat was clean and felt safe. A SiriusXM station (?) was playing inside and there were several TV's set to caption mode. Plenty of seating and tables for folding despite this being a smaller laundromat. And hey, there was an AA or NA meeting taking place in the vacant strip mall space next to this laundromat so you can always get clean while you're getting clean. Probably my last visit, but check again in 10 years. read more

This laundromat will suck up your money and still show you owe more. We put $7.50 in 2 different machines ($6.50 machines) thinking we counted wrong. It said we still owed $4.00. It also would not refund our money. Then when we tried to get more quarters to try a different machine to wash and dry, the cash machine was out of quarters. There is no attendant to help with problems. We called the number listed and they didn't give a shit. They stold our money. We ended up going to Bubbles. They are great and have an attendant on premise to help with issues. I will never go back to Esplanade Express laundromat. And they still owe us $15 and doubt we ever will. They suck. They also charge more if you want hot water. SMH read more

Great laundromat! Cost a little More than other places but it's the Best laundromat I've seen in a while. Super clean: clean floors, and clean machines; and even the soap loader in every machine was clean (not just wiped, but clean). No homeless or beggars asking for your spare laundry change. Not crowded, not sketchy; just a clean place to do laundry. read more

I wanted to like this facility, as it was the cleanest of the three I've tried so far. During the course of my laundering, I lost a load and it was then stolen. I take my share of the responsibility in this; however, when I tried to call the company, their phone line was disconnected. I then emailed the company and was informed a response would be made in 48 hours, but I never heard back. Discouraging. read more

Nice and clean place. Not to many people. Lots of heavy duty machines for bedding and big loads. Prices reasonable. Lots of parking. I highly recommend. Plus my clothes came out fresh and clean. read more

Honestly go anywhere else to do your laundry. The machines constantly break after you've put your money in, I've lost over $20 here, and the owner won't do anything. If it's not machines breaking or stealing your money it's people stealing your clothes or destroying them. Done giving my money to this place read more

The manager of the place, Gary, took the time to show us around the place since it was our first time. There is security cameras and security available on-site which is important especially if you are there late at night. Gary also explained that if you forget your clothes in the washing machine for a while, they will dry them for you and set them aside for when you remember to pick them up. The place is extremely clean and the wifi is free! Gary is also the nicest person and a great person to talk to! read more

I live in a house that does not have a washer or dryer, and being a full time student as well as employed full time, I rarely have any spare time, let alone time to to laundry. I dropped my clothes off around 12 and asked for the full "fluff and fold" service. I was expecting a wash, dry, fold, whatever nothing fancy. What I received was seriously such a gift. The gentleman and his wife took such amazing care of my clothes. I came back around 5 ( I was stuck in class, I can't remember the exact time my clothes were done) All of my "hang dry" items were hanging individually on hangers, all of my bras were hanging and delicately taken care of, all my denim was folded, shirts perfectly folded, socks matched. I felt so taken care of, so loved, and my clothes were so clean and dry. When I came, the gentleman helped me carry my clothes to my car, and they were just so happy and nice. It was an amazing experience. These people are awesome. They went way above and beyond, and I wouldn't trust a lot of people with my clothes, I wear nicer more expensive items, and my clothes were handled and cleaned with such care. I cannot wait to go back next month and see them again! read more

Came in here and needed help doing laundry due to the fact I have a 5 month old and I was just in town visiting. The lady who helped me was so nice and easy to make conversation with. The price I got on them doing all mine and my daughters clothes was great!! I wish they had a place like this where I lived. I would come every day to get my laundry done!!!!!! This will be my first and last time I do my laundry here. It's too pricey for just 1 load and it doesn't rinse off all the detergents off of my clothes. I know there's an option for a super cycle which is a quarter more but who tf wants to pay a quarter more for a bad wash smh. read more

I did laundry at bubbles on mangrove the other day because it had such good reviews and none of the washing machines fit my clothes! I am really impressed with how spacious and clean this place is. The machines are huge, the wifi is great, and I love that they have surveillance so I don't have to sit here for two hours. I'll definitely be coming here from now on. read more

Overpriced. Very unclean machines. I brought a few loads in to clean recently and discovered (after finished drying) that apparently a crayon of some sort was lodged inside of the dryer. Lost hundreds on dollars worth of clothing, and management was unwilling to provide any response beyond "it's not our fault what others put in the machines". Totally unfair and I will never visit this location again. read more
