This place is great especially if you have a whole lotta laundry! They take digital payments through an app called Dexter Pay, but I'm pretty sure they do coins too. They have laundry carts for your convenience, around 8+ commercial sized washers (14.50 each), regular washers for $7.50, and I did $4 for an hour and some change at the commercial sized dryers but time and price is adjustable! I got about 8ish loads done with just 4 machines (2 washers 2 dryers) . Concerns about safety are close to none, its located on a well lit strip, people who hung around the plaza were no bother! Stores near include Safeway, few good food spots, and a smoke shop. Will definitely be coming back :) read more

I'm frightened spending more than a minute in here. Employee is helpful, however, the state of things inside are putrid. The number of broken washing machines out numbers the working ones, and the ones that work just barely do. It looks as though they think the machines were self cleaning because they clearly haven't been cleaned in years! There was old standing water in several machines, one of which poured all over my mom. The latches of many of the machines function poorly. Filters are covered in lint in every location in the building. There's a room in the back with glass windows that you can see piled up trash and a hefty amount of flies. Truly shocking. I don't know how this laundromat has the most stars of any in Chico. It's absolutely disgusting. Half the machines are broken. Moldy clothes left in some of the machines. Disgusting standing water in the washing machines. The restroom made me gag. read more

I actually use this laundry mat all the time because the employees are friendly and it's close to my house. But one thing that drives me crazy is that half of their washers are out of service. I've been coming here for a few years and they've never been fixed. So lots of times you have to sit with your wet laundry and wait for one to open up which is super inconvenient. read more

Drop off service is amazing! My washer is broken and I was not looking forward to a day in the laundry mat, due to other projects I needed to accomplish. I dropped off four loads, including bedding. Bon the owner was so gracious and welcoming. Dropped off at 11:30 a.m. and picked up at 4:00 pm. Everything was clean, folded and nicely organized. Much better than I do on my own! I highly recommend this locally owned business in Chico. They are very community oriented and help the folks with Safe Space Winter Shelter with the daily laundry from housing homeless people in local churches. Even with a new washing machine on its way, I'm sure I'll be back here with comforters. read more

I really like doing my laundry here, The guy that works here is really friendly and is always willing to help. Its always nice and cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Came back to pick up our clothes and they shut down a half hour prior to the closing time. There were no signs or indications posted in regards to them closing early. Now I have to go out of my way to wake up early tomorrow so I can pick up my "wrinkled clothes." read more

Dirty, dirty, dirty. I'd started using CLC in 10/09; it's gone through at least three managers (it's family owned) and it's progressively gotten worse. The bathroom is not cleaned, you can see human waste and mold on the surfaces. The toilet frequently does not work and the manager accuses whomever tells him that they used too much toilet paper (!?!) The tables and chairs are not wiped down, and the sinks are not cleaned. There are two banks of machines that charge different prices for cold, warm, or hot water; the water is never hot, let alone warm. The floor is not clean, and the trash receptacles are overflowing. The manager has a puppy he lets run all over peeing and pooping. He doesn't pay his cable/internet bill on time, so the TVs and WI fi are not always available. He allows vagrants to harass the customers, and lets his friends (who are frequently stoned or drunk) to view Internet porn in front of his and customer's children. I've moved to East Avenue Laundry; it's worth the drive read more
