Wing flavors are personal, but the Mango Habanero dry rub is a standout favorite of mine with its perfect sweet-heat balance. The Garlic Parm onion rings or fries are another must-order side, crispy and packed with flavor. Overall, highly recommend this spot for wing lovers.

It's probably best to come here when it's not a Monday or Friday. Sadly, Friday was my only available day, so I spent 1.5 hours to get my driver's licence renewed. Specifically, it was time to get my photo retaken. After It was done, I needed to fetch lunch. It was just after noon. I haven't been to this plaza for a while. The Indian restaurant next door looked like it had shuttered for good, which was sad. My original thought was to hit the bakery. An even better discovery was The Wing Spot between the bakery and Service Ontario. Perfect! I walked in. There was a mom-daughter duo having lunch. I was greeted by the nicest woman. I went with the special that got me a pound of wings, chili onion fries, and pop for $19 before taxes. I got honey garlic wings. She said that I could grab any canned pop from the fridge. I liked the variety. I saw peach, pineapple, and strawberry Crush. What got my attention was blackberry Dr Pepper. I got it. I paid with my credit card. I tapped and was good. I took my can of pop and waited at a table. Ten minutes later, my food was ready. She asked whether I needed cutlery and napkins. I said yes. She put everything in a plastic bag. I thanked her and happily left with my lunch. I put my lunch in an insulated bag. I then drove home, feeling accomplished that I got my driver's licence renewed and had grub to devour. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I loved my honey garlic wings. I'd say that I got more drums than flats. I like them both, so all was great. They were large and meaty. The honey garlic sauce was the perfect amount that coated each wing. So good! I have never had chili onion fries. They were excellent. It had slight heat, but not enough to do any damage. I don't think I can get regular fries. I loved how tasty the onion, chili, green onions, and sauce were on the fries. I loved my blackberry Dr Pepper. It was refreshing and yummy. I wish it came in zero, but it was a nice change. This eatery was a wonderful discovery. I look forward to returning for more wings. This place has over a hundred flavours and the wings are halal. Well, things have changed. Pizza Hut takes up maybe a third of its old building. The other two-thirds is now this Church's chicken joint. I love Church's. Yes, its marketing tends to focus on its fried chicken, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches. I love everything. You know what my favourite item is at Church's? It has nothing to do with chicken. It's the honey butter biscuit. This biscuit is delicious. It's fluffy. It has a nice honey butter glaze on top that's crispy, slightly sweet, and perfect. I dropped by Church's first. It was nice seeing seating at this eatery. There were a few folks waiting for their food. I let a couple grab their food before I approached the counter. I saw the biscuits behind the friendly woman who said hi and asked how I was. My mouth was salivating. I felt bad for the pizza that I had ordered. I got three biscuits. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. Done! She grabbed three biscuits and put them in a paper bag. I thanked her and left with my goodies. I hit Pizza Hut before I put all my food in an insulated bag for pizza. I then headed home. I had a honey butter biscuit straight out of the bag. It was still hot. It was so good. Oh, how I have missed how fluffy and yummy this biscuit is! A seasonal item on Church's menu is a sundae that has a biscuit in it. I haven't had it, but I want to make my own at home. Let's see if I can make one before I devour the other two biscuits. I liked visiting this Church's. It is the closest one to my home. I'll be back soon! (92)

Late 1990s I lived near Canada's first Harvey's location in Richmond Hill…read more Because of the joint venture b/w Harvey's and Church's, I distinctly remember eating like a king as a kid. A Harvey's angus burger with some onion rings + some Church's bone-in chicken with some of their biscuits. THAT WAS IT FOLKS. So sad that the joint venture doesn't exist anymore. While their signature chicken is good, my claim (bold but not controversial) is that the honey butter biscuits are better than their chicken. In fact, I think the biscuits at Church's are the best fast food biscuits in the game right now. Super fluffy and moist on the inside but with the crispy, sweet exterior. Popeye's could never w/ their biscuits. The one thing I think Church's has them beat on is the biscuits. I've also tried the jalapeno bombers and they're just mid imo. But surprisingly, the mashed potatoes w/ gravy was actually not bad! Definitely not beating the gravy over at Mary Brown's though.

The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. I have a heavy tray of Eggplant Parm in the freezer, will comment on that after it's gets baked. I'm ordering a sandwich platter for a potluck, he makes the traditional sliced bread, deli meat triangles or sliders from his wall menu(these are $3.50 each).

Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). I think I enjoyed the sandwich a decent bit. Definitely fair priced and came with lettuce, onions, and cheese. However, the sandwich was super greasy and when we ordered, he just microwaved it lol. At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though. Overall, I think my experience lacked a bit but maybe their cold roast beef is better (but it also wasn't available when I went). 3.5/5 stars.
