    Jaffna Wow Fries
    Sugunthan S.

Love this restaurant. The customer service is excellent here. The cashier went out of his way to explain, in detail, menu items. We had the opportunity to try Jaffna fries. The food is fresh and the takeout containers are packaged nicely. The proportion sizes are generous. If you like spicy, make sure you try the house hot sauce for an additional $2. This restaurant is only take out. You cannot dine in. There is ample parking outside to enjoy your meal in the car.

1 lbs spicy gar par & 1 lbs of spicy thai

Food was good, customer service was okay. We ordered spicy gar par wings and spicy thai wings. Enjoyed the good, wait time was pretty standard.

Wow! Wing house has over 123 different wing flavours to choose from which is amazing. Got the Humble bee and Forty Creek BBQ. The Humble Bee had a nice kick to it but the Forty Creek didn't really stand out to me... Their wings are regular size... even with sauce a little bit on the dry side... The fries just looked really sad. I would say this is an average wing house, that has a lot of variety, and great value... Worth a try but nothing outstanding

Super dry chicken wings - honey garlic

If I were to describe my meal in one word, I would use the word "dry". I ordered takeout on Canada day for a group of four people and it took around 20 minutes to be done. We ordered four Markham specials which come with wings, the wow wing fries and a pop can. We got honey garlic, spicy garlic parmesan, hot honey and garlic parmesan. Every single order had the driest wings we have ever had in our entire life. I'm not sure if the wings were old, or over cooked but the meat was dry and the chicken wing skin resembled the texture of dry jerky. Not even the heavy amount of sauce could save this meal. Not only were the wings dry, the fries were dry too. I'm not sure what went wrong with all our fries but they tasted so stale and again, not even the sauce could save it. Another thing to note is that one of the meals had a HAIR stuck to one of the fries. I will never come back to this Wow Wing location. They're definitely cutting corners, maybe sacrificing quality for efficiency but nonetheless, a sad waste of $68.

Ordered the Markham special which includes a lb of wings any flavour with chilli onion fries and a can of pop. I ordered the wet Jamaican jerk. It was excellent. Good flavour but not very spicy. Add some hot sauce if you want heat.

The food is very very good but beware! They are very very hot like a fire that comes out of a dragons mouth. For a non chili eater, I ordered mild (the safe way to go) chili garlic fries with wings and had to set aside the chili. I enjoyed my food.

Markham Special - 1lb of wings and chilli garlic fries
    Terence L.

I ordered the Markham Special which comes with 1lb of wings, a side Chilli Garlic and Onion fries, and a can of pop for around $15. Definitely not the cheapest meal but when you compare it to other restaurants such as St. Louis, you're getting much higher quality, tastier wings and just more food overall. The wings were pretty good especially when comparing to your typical wing joints. They were fairly large, crispy and still moist, not dry at all. They have a tons of different flavours but I decided to go with garlic parm. But for me the star of the show were the chilli garlic fries! Let me just preface that their chilli fries are not gonna be for everyone but for those who love garlic and raw onions, this will be heaven for you! All the flavours and ingredients just went so well together. They also add some green chillies to make it slightly spicy. It was honestly addicting just eating it!

Bye bye Wild Wings. Hello Wow! Wings. Over 123 flavours. 1lb of wings would net 8 to 10 wings, and the wings are big. Why didn't I come before today? Oh right, because lazy me don't travel far for food. I noticed that most reviewers ordered the Markham Special or the Chili Onion Fries because of the flyers and posters. Well they missed out. The best deal, IMHO, is the *2 Pair Platter*. 25 wings (so approximately 2.5 lbs) for FIVE flavours. Not 2, not 2.5 flavours, but 5 flavours. I got to try 5 flavours for $29? (For reference, 1lb/1 flavour costs $11) Not to mention my BF and I were stuffed to the rim and had leftover for lunch the next day. Depending on dry or wet wings, the skin was slightly crisp or soaked in sauce. I enjoyed the 2 chilies heat level. I considered it medium to hot heat. If you are like it really hot, there are flavours that are at 6 chilies heat level. I deducted 1 star because the wings could be fresher. If I could find out which day they have the highest turnover, it would be a perfect wings meal. Wow! Wings House is a take out place with 2 long tables. We dined in. No waiter services. We bused our garbage. No tipping was required.

    Markham special

Amazing wings, sauces that stood out from the places I usually go to (St.Louis, Wild Wings) Price: a bit pricey, this is not a cheap meal but your taste buds will be thankful. The Markham special was large enough to share between two adults or to feel stuffed if you're eating alone. Seating was limited (max 10-12), line for takeout is usually long. Food: 5/5 the Markham special comes with these amazing fries, I think they're topped with chili & onions. Definitely recommend the special.

Markham Special 1lb of Spicy Garlic Parm wings and a side of chilli onion fries.

5 stars, 100%. Great take out place for wings, limited seating (no atmosphere), just grab and go. I got the Markham Special: 1lb of wings, chilli onion fries and a pop. Have to say, for a wing joint - this place is good. I ordered the spicy garlic parm, was a little worried it would be too bland at two chilli heat, but was pleasantly surprised by the kick. Perfect for me. I could take hotter, but this was the perfect flavour/spice level. The chilli onion fries are a must. As my husband so lovingly said "watch out supreme fries you have a contender". With small bits of green chilli, some chilli powder, a healthy serving of red onions and garlic sauce, all over crispy fries, this is delicious. Definitely well done and a must order.

great fries & wings! the spice level was great on the fries - loved the fusion of flavours! good portion size to share. order ahead so you don't have to wait long :)

Small place with a few seats. More of a takeout joint. 1lb of honey garlic and 1lb of Cajun wings and an order of chilli onion fries totaled about $29 taxes included. Service was quite fast. Within 5 minutes my takeout order was ready. Probably the worst wings I have had. The honey garlic wings were not crispy at all. It felt like there was a mushy outer layer of batter even though these are not battered wings I don't think. The dry Cajun wings did not fair any better. It didn't taste like Cajun spices at all. It tasted more like a home brew of Indian spices. Since so may reviews mentioned that the chili fries were so good I thought I would give it a try. Worst decision ever and worst fries I have ever eaten. The fries were hard. Not crispy but hard. I was picturing chili sauce on the fries but it only had chili powder with some mayo and a bunch of chopped onions. NO CHILI SAUCE ON CHILI FRIES??? WTF??? Tasted so bad I had to throw them out. 4 star average review for this wing joint? If you want some good wings in the Markham area then try some from "Big Bone BBQ and Wicked Wings" or give "King Edward's Arms" a try. I guarantee it will be better than what they sever here.

This place has the best garlic fries if that's what they call it ! But I always order the Markham special which comes with a pound of wings and the chilli garlic fries. BUT EVERYTIME I COME my boyfriends plate would always have a hair in it. Like don't get me wrong I love this place, but they all need to start wearing hair nets.

It's probably best to come here when it's not a Monday or Friday. Sadly, Friday was my only available day, so I spent 1.5 hours to get my driver's licence renewed. Specifically, it was time to get my photo retaken. After It was done, I needed to fetch lunch. It was just after noon. I haven't been to this plaza for a while. The Indian restaurant next door looked like it had shuttered for good, which was sad. My original thought was to hit the bakery. An even better discovery was The Wing Spot between the bakery and Service Ontario. Perfect! I walked in. There was a mom-daughter duo having lunch. I was greeted by the nicest woman. I went with the special that got me a pound of wings, chili onion fries, and pop for $19 before taxes. I got honey garlic wings. She said that I could grab any canned pop from the fridge. I liked the variety. I saw peach, pineapple, and strawberry Crush. What got my attention was blackberry Dr Pepper. I got it. I paid with my credit card. I tapped and was good. I took my can of pop and waited at a table. Ten minutes later, my food was ready. She asked whether I needed cutlery and napkins. I said yes. She put everything in a plastic bag. I thanked her and happily left with my lunch. I put my lunch in an insulated bag. I then drove home, feeling accomplished that I got my driver's licence renewed and had grub to devour. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I loved my honey garlic wings. I'd say that I got more drums than flats. I like them both, so all was great. They were large and meaty. The honey garlic sauce was the perfect amount that coated each wing. So good! I have never had chili onion fries. They were excellent. It had slight heat, but not enough to do any damage. I don't think I can get regular fries. I loved how tasty the onion, chili, green onions, and sauce were on the fries. I loved my blackberry Dr Pepper. It was refreshing and yummy. I wish it came in zero, but it was a nice change. This eatery was a wonderful discovery. I look forward to returning for more wings. This place has over a hundred flavours and the wings are halal. It was super dry and overall not good, it didn't have any flavour and batter wasn't seasoned. Tartar sauce provided tasted off. Fries were okay. House of Fries existed in my stomping grounds until a Yelp experience drew my attention to it. I had such a positive experience that I returned for more good eats! This eatery is a few doors down from Federick Restaurant, which offers Indian and Chinese cuisines. One of these days, I'll drop in. This eatery is on the southeast corner of Markham Road and Karachi Drive. Costco (Markham east, as this city has two) is a couple of blocks away. I had no problem locating this place during my first visit. There was lots of parking. I backed into one and headed inside. I've had no problems returning, either! I was the only customer in this eatery at around 6:15 pm. It was great being able to take a few pictures. Staff are extremely kind and helpful. A male staffee guided me through the ordering process. I was getting a pound of wings. He pulled out the menu and said that I could choose a flavour from the extensive list. I had already reviewed the list beforehand (I'm not kidding about loving wings) and went with honey dill. He was pleased that I knew what I wanted sauce-wise. The next step was selecting fries. I went with Mexican. I asked if I could get the sour cream omitted. He said yes. Yay! I ordered the same thing last week, but online through this eatery's site. It was simple. I paid online and drove over here to pick up my order. This place is on Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Skip the Dishes. I like the online site ordering better. The canned drinks are excellent. I love the Crush line. I've had the cream soda and grape so far. This place has exotic pop drinks, such as Fanta pineapple. I knew that I'd like it here! I've never dined here. If you order at the eatery, the wings-fries combo takes fifteen minutes to make. I was good. I took a seat at a table for two. I watched the pre-game show between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The man let me know that my order was ready. It didn't feel like fifteen minutes had passed! I thanked him for his help and wished him a good evening. He wished me the same. I happily left with my dinner. For my online order, it was ready when I got to this eatery. I picked up my food, thanked the man, and left. I put my food in my insulated bag and drove home. I was looking forward to chowing down. The wings looked plump and thoroughly sauced. The honey dill sauce was whitish with lots of dill specks. It was almost as if raw honey was being used. It reminded me of the dill sauce that you get at St. Louis Bar & Grill, but I liked this one better. It was slightly sweet. I loved the dill. Each wing had the perfect amount of sauce without making it soggy. The wings were crispy and juicy. I got maybe more drums than flats. They were delicious. I want more. I thought that I wouldn't be able to finish the Mexican fries. Nope, I did. They were yummy. The fries had cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, taco seasoning, ranch, and roasted garlic seasoning. The cheddar cheese was melted and crispy in spots. I loved getting a bite of everything with the best fries underneath. The fries were long and had the skin on, which I loved. I am normally not a fries person, likely because they aren't special as a side. However, if you load them up with delicious ingredients, I'll love them, which happened here. I was so stuffed after both meals. They were excellent. I am constantly dreaming about returning for more. I saw on the menu that this place has wraps. It will be tough for me to order one, because the wings and fries have my heart. It's nice that there's another solid wing place in Markham for me to frequent regularly. It's becoming my go-to wing place to get my fix. (220)
