One pound of wings, chilli onion fries and a pop for $19.00. Got an order of honey garlic and bumble bbq. Decent sized wings - 9 pc per lb. I enjoyed it. Wings were crispy and just the right amount of saucy. Fries could have been dressed more but enjoyable. They have pineapple crush (for me a definite bonus). Pineapple crush is a Newfoundland thing. It's not easy to find here. Just sayin' They have a lunch special for $12 for 5pc, regular fries and pop, available till 3pm. If you're in the area, definitely a place to try out.

Came here on a Friday late night and there was no line. Lots of parking in the plaza. Ordered the Lovers Deal (3 lbs - Devil's Ranch and Honey Hot, upgraded fries to chilli onion fries +$3, onion rings, 2 dipping sauces). Pros: - Food came out pretty quickly (15 mins) - Great flavour for the wings and fries. Wings were sauuuuuucy. - Lovers Combo had so much food - enough for 3 people Cons: - The breading and fries were soggy instead of crispy. Wings were a bit dry, not juicy. - I was overwhelmed by the variety of flavours available so I asked for some suggestions. The cashier just pointed to their wall menu and said "the ones with the stickers." Because the flavours were so delicious, I'd give this place another shot!

Been meaning to try this wing spot nearby. I'm so glad I stopped by. I got the $12 lunch special, 5 wings, fries and pop. I got the garlic Parmesan, it was very good and saucy. The wings were big, not like some wing joints. The fries were nice and crispy and I got to choose a strawberry crush which I never had. Everything was good, clean place and the owner was super friendly. Will definitely stop by more often when I'm in the area.

The fries were definitely a highlight, crispy, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. I also liked how casual and easy the whole place feels, perfect for a quick meal without overthinking it.

Tips: - If you are ordering a milkshake, expect a longer…read morewait. It took two people fifteen minutes to make it. - Communication to the customer on how long it would take for my order to be ready wasn't stellar. On Wednesday night, after driving home from Mississauga, I felt like a milkshake. Where should I get one? I remembered that the Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shake location in Scarborough that I had visited months ago offered milkshakes. I also remembered this Boardwalk location in Markham. It used to be South St. Burger. Markham used to have two locations. It now has zero, which is a downer. I came here at nearly 9 pm. There were lots of parking spots. I pulled into one and entered the store. The Boardwalk is a combo store with Lava Grill. There is one entrance for both eateries. I walked in. There was a couple enjoying a meal. I was the only person at the order area, which is shared between the two eateries. It took a while for the man at Boardwalk to come over. He was making burgers. I ordered these items: - Strawberry shake without whipped cream - Dubai chocolate brownie I paid with a credit card. Done. Communication is an issue here. This man continued making burgers and fries. He didn't let me know how long it would take to make my order. I wasn't in a rush, but I didn't know that it would take fifteen minutes for two folks to try and make my milkshake. I did like that the press for the burgers automatically came down on the patties and had a timer. I also watched fries go into hot oil and the basket automatically come up once the fries were done. It was also on a timer. I noticed that burger man got Lava guy to make my shake. They both went into the back. Burger man came back to assemble the burgers. Lava guy was still in the back. My guess was that there was some issue making my shake. Again, I got no communication until Lava guy came out to look at my order and told me it would be two minutes. Um, sure. I didn't believe it. I was right. I decided to sit down. Burger guy had finished making the burgers. He went outside. He came back in. His first communication to me was two fingers up in the area. Two minutes or victory?! Five minutes later, I saw a shake come out from the back. Lava guy was holding it. Lava guy took a box with a brownie and packed it in a paper bag. I got a napkin, a fork, and a spoon. He handed me a pretty strawberry shake and my paper bag. I thanked both guys, more relieved than anything, and left. I got into my car and drove home. Despite the wait and the lack of decent communication, the two items that I had were excellent. The strawberry milkshake was yummy. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was creamy and enjoyable. I had the Dubai chocolate brownie yesterday. It was so good. I loved the crispy bits with pistachio cream and a delectable, moist brownie layer. Yum! I'm thinking that ordering online and coming here to pick up my order would be best. This place seems to take its time because it seems to be on its own time. Boardwalk has happy hour deals at night. I may give it a try next time. Here's hoping that communication is better. (190)

Firehouse Subs - Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket Sub

My friends and I stopped by for some dinner after a saturday badminton session…read more We tried a bunch of large subs: firehouse captain club sub, smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket, brisket hat trick. I was blown away by the quality of the subs. WOW. Every sub was PACKED to the brim w/ goodies. No skimping out on ingredients. Tons of meat, tons of veggies, tons of sauce. For the hot subs, the meat was sooooo soft and easy to swallow. I had a bite of my friends' subs and they were all super delicious. The chicken in the captains club was so juicy. The beef in the smokehouse sub was melt in the mouth. The bread on all subs was toasted. They also have one of those nice machines w/ tons of different soda options to choose from (peach mello yellow zero SUPER UNDERRATED). Shoutout to Donte who helped me with my order as a first-timer to this store! Love that I was able to stack a bunch of extra add-ons for no additional charge. Also loved that every sub came w/ a dill pickle on the side (the pickles were delicious too). I was tempted to upgrade my bun to garlic bread but that'll be for another visit. In terms of price, it is premiumly priced at around $20-25 per sub which is expensive tbh. Does the quality justify that price tag? I would actually have to say yea it does! SOOOOO much meat packed into every sub. AND the employees don't treat you like dirt (*cough cough* Jersey Mike's, Subway and Mr. Sub I'm looking at you guys). Sooo jelly that there isn't a location closer to me at all but I signed up for the rewards program right away. MY GOD. Best subs I've had in recent memory.

The meat is perfectly smoked and matches so well with the cheddar cheese. Added carmelized onions. Amazing. I have dreams about this sub.

I usually get a double patty with sautéed mushrooms, though the mushrooms do make the bun a tad soggy. There is no combo meal here, all items are separately sold, even for fries and drinks. Complimentary peanuts are available at pick-up area; can sit and wait while munching on some peanuts. Staff is always ready to serve, with speedy service, and food is always ready in no time :) I do wish they have a better garbage can because it is very hard to throw things out without touching the garbage flap. Overall, the space is clean and well-maintained.

I've been here before but it is not on my usual burger establishment favourites…read more But On this visit, I found it very pleasant. I ordered 1. The double patty burger for dine-in 2. Little burger for takeout 3. Poutine for takeout The food was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the patties and their flavourful beef. There was a Maillard reaction which added to the smash burgers effect. I would say the these burgers are better than Fresh burgers which I frequently visit. But If I had to choose I would prefer to come here to five guys burgers from now on. It just had that "je me said quoi" "I don't know" better food experience. The service was also efficient. They had 3 workers working in unison. One at the cash, one on the grill and one doing fries and packaging. It worked perfectly. All in all I will definitely be back and I recommend this franchise for all your smash burger cravings.

This place is a definite must-try. The place has a few spots to eat, and the decor is beyond adorable and fitting. I couldn't get enough of the potato puns. The gentleman was incredibly nice in explaining what the top favs were and was even nice to allow me to add an ingredient, as one of my spuds had something removed (no coleslaw for me). My order consisted of Mexican Fiesta and Nashville Chick. My husband took his Mexican fiesta potato as is, but I ended up switching my pulled chicken for fried chicken. The potatoes were amazing! The base potato was so flavourful and not bland at all, evenly seasoned on its own without the toppings. The toppers were delicious and went well with the spud. It hasn't even been a week, and I'm already jonesing for my next potato bar experience.
