Finally stopped by this chicken joint today for the first time! Not sure why I have driven past it for so long without going in but so glad I finally did :D I was having a really hard day at work the night before so I needed a pick me up, and this did just the trick. I decided to order two different flavors of wings to compare them not knowing they had a walk-in special on Mondays. Now I know though for my next visit! They also have a very convenient online ordering system that I made use of. -[2 LB WINGS] $30 Option to choose two flavors so I went with their Messy Chicken flavor and their Creamy Honey Garlic flavor. Their Messy Chicken flavor consists of chipotle, creamy garlic, and parmesan. Their Creamy Honey Garlic consists of creamy garlic and honey garlic sauce. Personally, I preferred the Messy Chicken flavor to the Creamy Honey Garlic but both flavors are super saucy which I loved. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and some of their fries options because those sounded delicious too. Definitely a place to check out especially on Mondays as it's only $10 for every 1lb of wings

I had this place bookmarked on yelp for awhile but never got around to checking it out. Well, that all changed when they had customer appreciation day in richmond hill. They were selling each pound of wings for $5 each (regular price $15/lb). IT WAS SOOOOOOO BUSY. The parking lot isn't big by any means and the line wrapped around the corner of the plaza! I got there around 11:20-ish (slightly after they opened) and the line already extended to Bueokae, two units down. I waited around 1.5 hrs approx to get my food (around 1 hr in line before being able to order and then another 30 min before my order was ready). Brandon, the gentleman manning the front of house looked like his soul left his body because there were so many ppl. But he was still serving customers with a smile. I saw my mans taking red bull out of the mini fridge behind him and chugging it LOL. I would say it was worth the wait for my food. There's no seating inside in the restaurant (purely a takeout joint) but when I opened my wings back home, my wings were still kinda crispy even under all the sauce (especially the honey garlic). Messy chicken: Would definitely order this again. It's their signature flavour. Reminded me of butter chicken with ranch and cheese on top. Sooo good. Chicken honey (honey garlic): These babies were still crispy when I lifted the lid! I was able to see chunks of garlic running throughout the sauce too which leads me to believe they make the sauce in-house instead of buying it. The Clucker: Ok so this was my least fave. The skin was kinda soggy on these and the ranch didn't really do much for me on these ones. It was also not as flavourful as the other two. Because it was customer appreciation day, each person was limited to 3lbs only. I kinda wish I went with mango habanero instead of the Clucker. The wings were quite big and plump. None of that puny wing bs. No cheating or cutting corners it seems like. The guy bringing orders out of the kitchen had a smile on his face the whole time and he gives you a lot of extra napkins which is great (as a finger food he understood the assignment lol). I will definitely be back in the future to try some of their other flavours since appreciation day restricted ppl to 5 flavours. Some of their flavours I've never seen at other wing spots. P.S. My brother tried to grab wings late at night a lil past 9pm with his fiancé but they already sold out of wings!

I think this location is newly opened in Richmond Hill but I came and had a good time. It's takeout only so have that in mind before you go. There's options for everyone from wings, burgers, poutines, all chicken-related. I decided to go with their meat lovers poutine which came with a spicy chipotle sauce, pepperoni, bacon, beef, sausage, and cheese. I got a large for $18. Our server was even nice enough to drop In a few pieces of chicken for me after I told him I couldn't choose between the meat lovers and the chicken poutine (it's a chicken place after all). Definitely enjoyed the food and the service!

They were celebrating their 1 year anniversary at this location by offering $5 per pound on their wings on Jan. 27 (limit 3 lbs per person). We got lucky and was able to get the max limit per person as they started to limit 1 pound per person because they were running low. It was my first time eating halal chicken and tasted pretty good. They only had 3 flavours of the 5 left to choose from so we tried all 3: Messy, Honey Garlic, mango habanero. Messy was a combination of chipotle, creamy garlic, and parmesan. I'm not sure if its their own version of the sauces or the combination, but couldn't really make out those flavours. Really strong cheese taste, but I think the combination still worked well together (3/5) Honey garlic falvour is usually a safe choice. It had some sort of smokeyness to it and seemed to have maybe burnt the garlic as the sauce tasted bitter. I do enjoy the honey garlic flavour but unfortunately this is a miss for me due to that bitterness (2/5) Mango habanero flavour is no joke when it comes to the heat. More on the dried side, but doesn't lack in spiciness. Don't taste too much mango flavour though (3/5) Overall, the chicken wings definitely did not lack flavour. Maybe because they've been rushing to fill the orders, but I feel like the sauces could have been better. Also if the chicken were a bit more breaded, I think it could balance out the saucey ones. For the promo, it was definitely worth it. They do offer 30+ flavours on their menu with unique flavours. Note: I did want to call out one thing during the process when we lined up. So the outside line for us took us 45 minutes to get to the front. However, we just kept waiting. Mind you, temperature outside felt like -10 degrees with wind chill, but the worker guarding the door from the inside did not provide us with any updates. So we were left wondering whether they ran out of chicken. We eventually were able to go inside 20 minutes later which was a relief. I did really appreciate them pulling this together, but it was definitely frustrating without any updates.

We were originally going to go to Pai, but since there was a line out the door because we didn't make a reservation, we ate here. The interior was fun, with the original owner's face on many different things, and there was a loud-ish mix of rock and early heavy metal. Apparently, this spot is a chain, and they used to have some US locations, but I'm not surprised they closed. We got some Cauliflower Bites for 5.49 CAD to begin. These were decent and, unlike our poutine choices, not overly salty. The little bits of fried cauliflower could have used a bit more flavor, but they worked for texture, and both of us eventually added some pieces to our poutines. My poutine of choice was the Prime Beef Deluxe, with ground beef, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and green peas, for 13.99 CAD. As a whole, the poutine was rather nasty, with the whole thing feeling wet. The watery gravy lacked flavor compared to the couple of other examples I've had before. The fries, even though they were hot and looked crispy, were limp and potatoey, and they were getting limper by the second because of the bad gravy. The cheese curds were decent, but there weren't that many of them. The beef didn't help how wet the dish was, nor did the frozen peas, with the only decent parts being the caramelized onions and mushrooms. I had maybe 60/70% of it, leaving many very wet fries at the end. The other person had the Buffalo grilled chicken with grilled chicken, buffalo sauce, creamy ranch dressing, and green onions, which was a dollar more. From the little bit I tried, the chicken was certainly better quality, though still a bit gummy. The buffalo sauce had a little bit of heat. The whole thing was extremely overdressed with the sauce, dressing, and gravy, and he had maybe half of it at most. This meal was terrible. They were both a salty mess with bad fries and worse gravy. I've had better poutine in NYC, and there are barely any Canadian spots here. Go here if you're high or drunk and therefore lack proper taste buds.

Sumi Fernando, the owner, worked 17 years at Schwartz's in Montreal, including head cutter. Do your taste buds a favor and get a smoked meat sandwich with meat that's marinated for 10 days, smoked for eight hours and steamed for three hours. This is incredibly delicious! The combo also comes with seasoned fries, coleslaw, and a whole pickle. Service I came mid afternoon and it wasn't busy. Service was prompt, and the food came out quickly. I think my rating would be way higher if more effort was put into the construction of the sandwich to complement the pastrami... Like the bread and toppings just didn't do anything to help the meat (which was delicious on its own). I do like that you can choose the kind of mustard you want as well as the cut of pastrami (lean, fatty, both, etc.) For a simple and quick pastrami sandwich, it does the job but I don't think it's worth the Michelin recommendation... This spot gets hyped up EVERYWHERE online but I think that just comes from lack of abundance for this type of food. If you're willing to make a trip for a WAY better fresh pastrami/smoked meat experience, head on over to When The Pig Came Home at the Junction in TO. You won't be disappointed.
