My friend and I were driving around Richmond Hill late on a Friday looking for a place to eat and we stumbled upon this place. Price Range: $10-$30. Drinks around $5-$10, and food is about $15-$30 depending on what you get. Food Quality (Taste/Menu/Portion Size): 4/5 The menu is fully halal. Their menu is pretty wide, they have a lot of pub/bar type of food. My friend really loved the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was a great portion and loaded with steak. The cheese pizza was really solid, had way more cheese than I expected. I think my favourite thing was the cookies and cream milkshake, I want to try the other flavours. The price is pretty good whether you're sitting down or ordering for takeout. Atmosphere: 4/5 The setup is like a typical sports bar. It's a good spot to watch games. I liked the vibe a lot, felt very casual and chill. Great for groups as there is a lot of seating. Service: 4.5/5 The staff really try to make it a family environment. They are all really nice and open to feedback on the menu items. They do a great job at checking in on you and giving their recommendations. Would I go here again? If i'm in the area, definitely will go again. Want to try more things! Lash's Recommendation - Milkshakes - Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich - Popcorn Chicken - Pizza read more

The toppings were fair. But the dough were soggy. First time trying it. I'll give it a shot again someday.

Toppings is a pretty sweet spot for burgers! FYI today (August 4 2018), they are giving out free burgers to the first 1000 customers. When I went in the afternoon, they still hadn't reached the 1000 mark. It's been a while since I've gone to Toppings - they've moved locations to this current one, the menu is quite extensive... They have a lot of great burger joint food - burgers of course, pizza, chicken wings, fries, etc... I just ordered one free burger with all the toppings and opted for takeout. The wait for the food was a bit on the longer side (around 20 min), but they were busy so it's understandable. The burger tasted extremely fresh and tasty. The toppings were great, but the meat quality I would say was very good. The meat was cooked perfectly and was quite juicy. The ambience and service here is also really good. It's a nice spot for dining in as well. In all, I'd definitely recommend Toppings for your next meal! read more

The service here is great. However my burger didn't have much flavour at all. Doesn't taste like the meat was seasoned. The burger was Bland. For a single portion of onion rings, this is big enough that you could share between two guys or three girls.... read more

Thin crust is nice and thin, but not like cracker. Jerk chicken pizza tasted more Mexican-inspired than Jerk (sauce base tasted like salsa), but had a nice bit of heat to it. Pineapple and Italian sausage thin crust was my preference. I believe the wing flavor I chose is was pineapple curry. That was quite tasty too. Right now, water is bottled and comes free. I appreciated that. read more

I ordered steak and cheese by the phone. The lady told me 15-20 minutes to pick up. I was in the store after 20 minutes, the person behind the cashier asked my name and the order. Then she said we don't serve steak and cheese anymore and we prepared cheese burger. I don't know how and why they decided for me. Anyway I paid but she told me wait for couple of minutes and then 2 more minutes and then 3 more minutes. I told her how come 35 minutes just for a cheese burger, suddenly a guy who seems like manager came and told me we are busy and if you want your food wait 3 more minutes. He was so rude and without any apology returned my money. The place is toooooo dirty. If the salon is this much dirty God knows how's the kitchen. read more

Date Visited : 20 Sep '19 Came here for lunch and ordered the Meal for 2 special - a medium pizza with 2 choice toppings, 1lb wings with 2 dipping sauces and 2 drinks for $24 plus taxes. The quantity was sufficient for three adults We chose the Beef Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. I would have preferred Pork but the beef wasn't bad. The pizza came quickly, the crust was perfect (not too thick, not too thin) and the toppings were generous. We chose the smoked BBQ flavor for the wings which we found to be a bit strong. The dipping sauces were terrible though and ruined the flavor of the wings. We skipped the sauces and enjoyed the wings au naturale We had a mango juice and Barbican (which was a $ extra) for drinks. Overall we paid $31. A good meal at a decent price. read more

This place has good pizza. I am only writing a review based on the halal pepperoni pizza I order, it's very delicious I have ordered this pizza about 6 times in the past with no issues on taste or quality. My sister came with me this day and ordered the bbq wings it looked gross I wouldn't dare to try one wing it was over loaded with sauce just not something I would personally order for myself but my sister did enjoyed her wings. When you walk in you have to go to the front and order yourself but the guy who works by the front did bring out our food to our table. Not sure if its something they do but they did when I dined in that day. (I usually take it to go) You will not get "service" here such as a server taking your order while you sit down or pour you a glass of water no plates forks etc, customers dont want to go through that if they are paying to dine in to eat; last thing you want to do is serve yourself for this reason it's a 3 star. read more

I visited toppings last week and just loved it. It's a bit far for me but well worth trip. This place is fully halal restaurant. I ordered the cheeseburger with a lot of bacon and onion rings and they were absolutely perfect. I really enjoyed the smoky burger flavor. My husband ordered the ribs with fries and he devoured them within minutes my kids enjoy a regular cheeseburger and honey garlic chicken bites. Place was clean Service was fast and good. Ordered takeout of the Butter Chicken Pizza and sides of onion rings and sweet potato fries that come with a sweet sauce. The food is great and I cant believe the butter chicken flavour meshes well with the tomato sauce of the pizza. The service is friendly and they give great recommendations. The place is large and the atmosphere is relaxing because the place used to previously be a bar. They serve halal food and thus they don't actually offer alcohol. Their burgers are pretty famous and will try next time. They also have different unique types of pizza such as Jerk Chicken or Mexican style. read more

"This place is so under-rated." These are the exact words from my 14 years old niece. Toppings serves American pub style pizzas. We ordered take out of a large Canadian pizza, regular crust, and one pound of chicken wings to feed two teenagers and two adults. We enjoyed the pizza very much. The dough was just right: not too thick or thin. The texture was slightly chewy and the rim was crusty. It tasted good, too. The toppings were all over to about 1cm from the rim. The pizza sauce was delicious, so was the bacon. The chicken wings didn't look so good, yet they tasted great. There were 10 wings in a pound, so the portion was good. Though not "authentic" Italian style, the pizza was good for what it intended to be. One large pizza and one pound of wings was a good portion for 4 people. The total bill with tax was $30. read more

What to do...what to do...what to do...hmmmm. Had a late meeting, did a run through Costco. Need something to eat. Pizza, wings, burgers...! Yep...that's what my bud and I wanted. Found that Toppings had some good reviews. Let's go "check-in" and check it out! Walked in and no one sat us. We sat ourselves - near the bar/cash station - they can't miss us there. Also, two big guys like me and my bud - we can't be missed anywhere! HA! Sat there looking for someone to take our order. Sat there, sat there, sat there...and then yet kept looking around and sat there. Even saw the owner or manager sitting with some people and not even coming to check on us. Two big guys, looking real hungry...what restaurant wouldn't want that!?!?!? Cha-Ching my friends! 3-2-1...that's it. What a waste of time. Time that I'll never get back. A customer that they'll never get back. For those of you who love the place, I'm not saying don't go. For those of you who didn't like the food - I can't be with you on that as I didn't even get a glass of water. Alway remember, we can forget what people say and do, but you can't forget how they make you feel. I FELT H'ANGRY! Had to leave and got a decent meal at Nona's Oven down a few doors. Lucky that there is a Nona's Oven in the same mall. They probably served the same type of food, you know Pizza. At least there was service at Nona's Oven. At least there was food at Nona's Oven. Maybe the oven was working at Nona's Oven. No...I'm not jaded or vindictive at all! :)) Jeers to them. read more

Try this place for the first time today, my wife and I ordered the jerk burger and a cheeseburger as well as a poutine and one of their milkshakes orange. The cheeseburger was absolutely fantastic and the jerk burger was perfect! The poutine was very good and filling there was a lot of gravy on it did cause the fries to get soggy near the end, overall I highly recommend toppings great burger joint I will try their pizza next, costing is the issue and cost them a star in my evaluation, you don't get a lot for your money but what you do is pretty tasty read more

Came here on a whim with one of my friends for lunch, and was far from disappointed! The owner of the restaurant takes incredible pride in what he does, as he should! A very friendly and welcoming establishment with quick service and good prices. We were recommended the honey jerk wings, and in addition we ordered the bbq chicken pizza & mozzarella sticks. Everything was very fresh, and the mozzarella sticks are some of the best I've had in Toronto. I'll definitely be returning despite the long drive here- it's well worth it! read more

Not sure what the hype is about. Got a pizza here from skip the dishes, chicken fingers with fries Pizza was mediocre, not much toppings, not hot, tasted like a bad version of Pizza Hut. Ordered a classic which was supposed to be beef pepperoni, mushroom, green peppers Dough was thick and undercooked. The chicken fingers weren't bad, chicken was actually pretty good. Tender, large and very flavourful, came with 3 Fries were the hero burger type, soggy, floppy and not seasoned well. No sauce included with the chicken fingers, they didn't even fill the box with fries, was about 3/5ths full with the chicken Was $20+ all in! For a medium pizza and 3 chicken fingers/fries All in all a disappointing meal, the reviews must be all associated with the restaurant considering the huge difference in quality. read more

Tell me how many times we brain storm And can't figure out when it comes to decide what to eat. Ding ding ........All of a sudden your brain signals for pizza and wings!!!! Then you should try this place full of flavours. Had opportunity to indulge some of their signature item from the menu. Jerk chicken pizza was too good, moderate crust, perfectly crisp bottom with loaded cheese and toppings you can feel separately in a single bite. Now comes to the spicy chicken wings. If you have guts to eat super ultra spicy wings you can try their "homicide wings" made from Jamaican scotch bonnets peppers. read more

I went here with my mom the other day for lunch and my mom got to finally try Halal Ribs for the first time in her life and she absolutely loved it! Toppings has a very large space with a lot of seating, the staff are always friendly, and there's a "bar" looking seating section with a couple flat screens for entertainment - as well as a large projector (perfect for sports). When it comes to the food, their food is absolutely delicious ! I loved everything I was eating, and even picked off of my moms plate to try some of the delicious ribs ! The owner and staff are absolutely awesome at Toppings. The quality of service is outstanding. We only tried the burgers and poutine, so it's hard to draw any definitive conclusions about the quality of food, but I liked the cheeseburger. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was about 6. The meat was medium, just like I like it, but the consistency of meat wasn't up to my standard. It's a subjective matter, but my gold standard is Holy Chuck medium patties. I also prefer buns at Holy Chuck. They're nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If I may suggest, I'd recommend the owner at Toppings to experiment with different suppliers of buns to see which ones are the most popular among customers. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. They also have Jerk Chicken Burgers, which I look forward to trying next time :) read more

Tucked away in northern Richmond hill, this is a true halal gem! 5 stars for the service, the counter person was really nice and the manager came and talked to every table about their experience, being a yelper, I love it when I am asked for feedback. Their homicide sauce is one of the best I have ever had, and the combination with honey is divine, homicide and honey is definitely recommended for wing flavour. Their burgers are nothing fancy but they are very flavourful and perfectly done, we loved the bacon(beef) and cheese burger, it had the right amount of everything and we asked them to add homicide sauce which gave it a really nice flavour. Pizza is where I think they can improve a bit, while the pizza was cooked good and they used good quality ingredients in it, I found the taste of deluxe pizza on a bland side, will try other pizzas when I return. I will definitely be going back for the burgers and wings though. read more

After a very meh snack at the nearby Amy's Fish & Chips (about 5 doors down), I decided to order the following at Toppings: Burger, $ 6.49 Pizza, large, with pepperoni, $9.99 1 lb of wings, Smokey Bbq, $9.99 Their burger was juicy and had a thick patty. Pizza was moist, cheesy and generous with pepperoni. Wings were smooth and flavourful. Recommended. read more

Really love their pizza and sweet potato fries here. This is one of my favourite pizza place in GTA. This time I ordered their Hawaiian pizza with bacon changed to Italian sausage. I would also recommend their sweet potato fries along w their house made sauce. Really yummy!!!! Must try place if you are in Richmond hill. read more

Absolutely I would say this the best halal fast food I ever tried in GTA. I had been there twice trying their meat lovers pizza and found it great. Also the chef's hot sauce was quite tasty! Then I brought back my family three more times and they enjoyed it's food too, especially the wings and the cheese burger. Moreover, the staff are friendly and nice. Surely We will return to have another delicious meal there. Thanks chef !!! read more

Came here with my friend for an early lunch, place was empty but that's to be expected at 11:30am on a Wednesday. I got the homicide burger which was spicy and juicy, the homicide sauce is made in house and adds a nice kick to the burger. The home fries have just the right amount of crisp and salt. I definitely recommend this place if your in the mood for a good quick burger. read more

You know what? the food was decent, but, it doesnt even matter because the service was horrible. It took more than an hour to get 1 burger. 1 burger. We saw many other frustrated customers. They're all just running around not knowing what to do and how to deal with customer service. It is the overall experience that makes a restaurant great, not just the food. Work on getting a host, waiters, more chefs. Or, prepare before you open your restaurant. Stop letting the cashier take phone orders because those customers arent existent yet. if you dont pick up, theyll just understand you're busy. deal with who is infront of you. Man, i created a Yelp account just to say this. read more

5-stars because of the amazing service! 4-star food, good flavours nicely cooked but nothing out of this world. You walk up to order and get to pick your table. The atmosphere is nice and roomy, good for large groups. We ordered the Tex Mex pizza which had Italian sausage, ground beef and jalapeños. Bacon cheeseburger with fries and homocide burger with onion rings. The Tex Mex pizza was really good, their pizzas are more soft crusted, which is what I prefer. The toppings were ample and the medium size is good enough for a single person or two people with small appetites. The burgers were good too, I'd recommend the onion rings. They're nice and juicy and you can tell they keep their oil clean. I will definitely come back if I'm craving a burger but don't want to shell out $10 for a burger. read more

I loved it. I ordered the thin crust, my husband picked the topping. It was hot, delicious, and fast. The beef pepperoni and beef bacon tasted as close to the authentic Italian as possible. The topping were all fresh and delicious. Hard to believe I prefer this place to my usual go to place in the city (la Rosa). The service was good. You have to order by phone and they pass the food out the door. While waiting for the pizza the owner chatted with my husband through the door. They have another location near Vaughn Mills mall. I think if it were not for the pandemic we might have discovered this Gem. My husband said he would make the drive up for the pizza or pick one up to take home if we are passing through. It's not far off the 404. We didn't try any of the other menu items. But from the pizza, the burgers and wings are probably just as good. I like the variety in case who ever we are with might not want pizza. I would definitely recommend this place. read more
