We wanted poutine and apparently this is the best so off we went. I liked the fries, and gravy, curds were semi cold and I wish a bit more melted but overall it was good. Food stand by a couple other restaurants walking distance from Kensington market.
Well visiting Toronto. I heard this place has some of the best poutine in Toronto. I wanted the try the traditional poutine. The cheese curds were nice and creamy. Fries were crispy and the gravy was delicious. I liked that you ordered on an iPad right outside of the pickup window.
One of the most popular spots in Toronto known for their classic poutine. I've heard about this spot for ages but only got around to trying it whilst I was in the area. You place your order on a kiosk and get your order at the front. Classic poutine: The portions are generous! Seriously the sizing is quite amazing for the price point. The gravy was good though I wished the fries were more crispy. Since it's cold outside, there is no outdoor seating but they do suggest seating inside the community centre. Overall, I had a good experience.
Absolutely FANTASTIC Poutine here! I ordered their regular with nothing fancy - just excellent fries, LOTS of delicious gravy & cheese curds. I damn near died when they handed it to me - felt like 3 pounds of food! I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to put a dent in it when I opened it but then a small miracle happened - I started eating... and couldn't stop! I ate damn near the whole thing and was stuffed but couldn't stop until I was down to the scraps. Incredibly delicious, very filling (my main meal this day) and extremely reasonable priced! If you like Poutine - and how could you not - this place is your Mecca!
The food truck is located on a block long area of food trucks on Dundas St.The street is unexpected because it is located in a busy street however there is a small seating area in the beginning of the row and many people were there. The lady in the truck was quick and friendly. She gave me the box with two forks so we could share. I've tried Poutine in Montreal and I thought it was nasty! So I really didn't want to try this one. I took a small amount and waited for the failure, however to my surprise this one was surprising. The French fries were soft yet crunchy, seasoned with a sweet, salty flavor. The gravy was homemade and tasted like the perfect beef sauce, creamy and tasty. I didn't try the cheese, because the fries and sauce together were the perfect bite! This poutine has changed my mind about Poutine! This is a Must Go!
First food item in Toronto!! Have to try their poutine, even though we had three servings of fries earlier that day already and were 50% potato. I can see why Nom Nom Nom was voted one of the best poutine places in Toronto. Service was quick and food was hot. They are along the strip of food stalls next to a community rec center and have outside seating. Though I wasnt really sure what I was expecting; good fries, good gravy, good cheese curd.
Nom Nom Nom had been on our radar some time for poutine in Toronto. Unfortunately they were sold out of the jerk option, but we got the pulled pork and smoked meat. The fries are a great texture. The cheese wasn't entirely melted when we first got our order, but after it melted a bit more it blended well with the rest of the poutine. I liked the smokiness of the meat, but pulled pork would be my pick between the two. The owner Marc was incredibly nice and friendly. There's an efficient self-ordering system outside the truck, so he can focus on fulfilling orders. There's a couple picnic benches along the row of food stalls, but limited seating otherwise. The fact that this business remains a food stall adds to its charm. I can confidently recommend Nom Nom Nom if you're craving some good poutine!
The poutine was so good. I did indeed go nom nom nom. Service was quick and friendly. You can dine outside when the weather is nice, but the food stall(?) is also located near a community center where the Chinese grandmas gather to play Mahjong and students gather to play sports. I just needed a place to sit and enjoy my poutine in peace, and the community center did the trick.
Voted as one of the best poutine spots, this place has been bookmarked on my list for a while. I was supposed to try it a prior trip but got too sick to try it but I am glad to make a visit this time around finally. We got the smoked meat poutine with triple cheese as that is the only meal we will be having for a while as we are flying out that day. This poutine was close to 20 CAD, which is not the best value, but the size is fairly solid. I enjoyed the smoked meat itself more than the poutine, which is surprising as this is a poutinerie and they should be specializing in poutine. The poutine here is good but not the best I have had - the potatoes were nicely crispy and the cheese is slightly creamy, but I wasn't much of a fan of the aftertaste of the gravy.
Tasty poutine, but stick with the traditional. We tried the limited time lumberjack poutine, which adds crispy onions and ground beef, and found it a bit salty and not quite what we were l looking for. On the other hand, the traditional poutine has nice long cheese curds and the perfect level of richness and saltines. The gravy is vegetarian, so it has some notes of sweetness and tartness in it. It's still plenty savoury, and I liked it, but my partner found it distracting. We went in the winter so there was no outdoor seating, but you can head into the community centre next door and find a seat. Apparently there's a program to request washable plates if you're eating in there, but I didn't know about it when I ordered.
yall. how have i gone this long without trying poutine???? this changed my life??? if u don't know me, i LOVE soggy fries. with a passion. a controversial take but idc!!! there's just something abt a soggy fry. anyways im getting off topic -- these fries were literally made for me. drenched in gravy and mixed with cheese curds!! the cheese curds here were also legit bc it squeaked when i bit into it (something my friend said was an indicator of good and fresh poutine!) service was quick and the worker was friendly! it's just a small stall but they have seating outside and cute ambient lighting. it's a nice spot for people watching and munching on some poutine :) poutine, you'll be seeing more of me. k love ya lots~
Damn. NomNomNom really lived up to its hype. It IS the best poutine in Toronto. The owner IS from Montreal after-all. Having been to Montreal, this is basically an exact replica of any poutine from Montreal. The portion is generous, the cheesy was squeaky, the fries were crispy, and the gravy had depth. We got the smoked meat one and it took us back to Montreal immediately.
The guy told me the cheese and pulled pork poutines were most popular. I decided with the pulled pork poutine, and it was amazing. The regular size was $12.83 CAD and double cheese was $14.82 CAD. There's a table in front with an umbrella. There's also some seating inside the community center next door. That's nice they offer that. Credit card/Apple pay accepted. (Also posted on Google)
Dropped by during my recent Toronto trip - and I'm so happy i did! Nice community center next door that you can sit inside to eat if you need to. Service was a self serve kiosk, however at handoff the guy is super easy going and friendly. Ordered the traditional, nothing fancy poutine, and was still wowed by it. Nice crisp fries and very good gravy. There was a hint of sweetness in it, which I want to say they put a dab of maple syrup in there recipe, but I'm not really sure! Anyways - will definitely find a chance to visit again on my next trip! read more
I came into town with my family and needed to try one of the best Poutine spots in Toronto. It is a street full of other food stalls, located next to the community center. The serving is very nice and had good amount to share with my family too. We definitely needed to add the extra cheese for our preference. Fries were not exactly my favorite cut and felt more dry because of the potato skin. Parking is pretty difficult as there isn't a lot of available spots nearby. As for eating spaces, there are lots of seats outside the stalls. The indoor community center is also very nice place to sit. We went during the FIFA games and it was very fun to see an active audience in the community. read more

The best poutine in the city, and as legit as it gets. The fries are delicious and you really get a potato taste, with a perfect cook and crunch. The gravy is deep and savory. And the cheese curds. The squeak and freshness. The service is quick and always friendly. A must try in Toronto! read more

This is the best poutine I've ever had! This is a food stall at Market 707. It has a Quebec flag. When getting closer there, you'll smell the irresistible aroma. I couldn't resist but order a jerk chicken poutine from its vending machine. (Ordinary poutine doesn't fulfill people anymore, lol.) The owner was very friendly and always smling. He told me to wait several minutes kindly. When I got my food, it looked very appealing. When I took the first bite, I was impressed by the combination of jerk chicken, gravy and crispy french fries. It tasted so good! People who had poutine before but not very enjoyed it should come to Nom Nom Nom to know the poutine's power. On the other hand, people who never had poutine before should better come here to experience this special Canadian dish read more

I still think about these, I always assumed poutine was nasty lol but o was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was wrong. A small food cart proved me wrong and I'm happier for it. The crispy fries, the savory gravy, and the cheese curds combined to make this unorthodox but unique offering. The wait wasn't longer, service was good and the outside energy of the city with the skyline easily visible and the sounds of the street proving background noise for Nom Nom Nom, winning combination. read more
Came here to try it out as it was rated one of the best poutine in the city. The poutine was alright. We got the traditional poutine, the portion is also really big for the price they charge. The poutine itself was lacking some flavours, the fries were really crispy, which can be a good thing for some, but for us it didn't go well with the gravely. The cheese curds also didn't melt in the poutine, which was a little disappointing. The service was quick and you get your food right away. The location is quite accessible by walk or biking and there are benches outside of the stall, which is a bonus for eating our food fresh. read more

LOVED this place! A great location with lots of outdoor seating and other food options at surrounding vendors -- but I recommend this one! Fries were essentially the same as Montreal fries (big win) and tons of cheese curds on the poutine. Most authentic poutine I have had in Toronto and will definitely return! Would also recommend getting there early in the day because they ran out of food soon after we ordered in the early afternoon and had to close early. Yum! read more

Cool spot on the street, in this little pop-up trailer style restaurant village. Luckily the weather was decent, so we ordered our poutine and drinks and dined on a nearby bench. We split two different style of poutine, which was perfect for three people as these dishes are hearty and filling. We sampled both a traditional version as well as the one with smoke meats on top. The smoked meat poutine was just okay (it was more of less a traditional with shredded meats on top), but their traditional poutine was really perfect with its squeaky cheese curds and rich brown gravy. Glad we gave this place a go! read more
The best poutine ever! So yummy, such great value, could literally feed a family of 4 with just 1 order of poutine. We got the traditional Poutine that cost only $8.41 CAD and considering we just thought to come here for a midday snack while we were touring Toronto, we were definitely super stuffed and happy after our meal. Service was quick, and it's nice that you can order at the self serve kiosk right next to the stall that was very easy to navigate yourself. If you don't feel comfortable paying this way, you can also just pay in person. Food came out quick, but considering that it was a super hot day, we would've liked our poutine to cool down a little before being served to us. There was plenty of fries, gravy, and cheese curds, and there is also the option to add double or triple the cheese curds (we couldn't imagine this!) Will definitely be dreaming of coming back here! It's also great how there are other food stalls on the same street so you can have a food crawl during your visit to Nom Nom Nom Poutine! read more
I had a chance to try their new item "pulled beef poutine" and I loved this!!!! Plenty of super melty tender slow-cooked beef on top of the regular poutine. The best beef poutine I ever had! $11 something for this volume & quality is quite impressive. I will check their new items regularly :) read more

I am originally from the States - Chicago to be exact and I travel a lot and try my best to try the staples at all places I travel too and I heard that this place was voted the best and that's all I needed to hear! Now I'm not the biggest gravy fan so I was afraid that I'd highly dislike it, but I was absolutely incorrect! The gravy was an amazing touch to the fries and cheese curds. I got double cheese because I love me some cheese and it was the perfect amount. The restaurant itself is a shipping container which made it super cool and there's seating all around outside. I believe I saw a sign for indoor dining as well, but I didn't test it out. It's a cute concept! The man running the store front was very nice and approachable which I appreciate. read more
I've only had poutine twice in my life but I hope that all of my future poutine encounters will be like the one I had from Nom Nom Nom. Two of us split the smoked meat poutine ($11.28). It had the perfect ratio of smoked meat, cheese curds, gravy, and fries. I was able to get a little bit of everything in every bite. The fries were fluffy on the inside while being crisp on the outside. They weren't seasoned too aggressively since a lot of the saltiness came from the smoked meat and gravy. The gravy had a strong umami flavor and clung nicely to the fries and cheese. While everything was coated in gravy, somehow the fries still managed to stay crispy! Meat-eaters should try the smoked meat poutine. It comes with a generous portion of smoky, savory, tender meat! I thought the portion of cheese curds was generous for the regular portion but they also offer extra cheese options for those who love cheese. read more
It may have partially been the cold weather, but this poutine was melt in your mouth good. We got the original version of the poutine since it was our first time trying poutine in Canada. The cheese curds were delicious and tasted fresh, the fries were the perfect taste and texture, and the gravy completed the taste experience.
