I'm not sure if it's a common thing with the wing places around this area but no one ever picks up the phone if you're trying to put in a pickup order. Determined to get wings, we showed up and they are definitely open. We put in an order for a Mama's Deal and we were quoted a wait time of about 15 minutes. It's in a good area since you can get some grocery shopping, banking, or errands out of the way at some of the neighbouring establishments in the plaza. I'm don't know if it's because I just haven't had wings in too long but these were pretty great. I like when a wing is still fried and crunchy underneath a ton of sauce. That's exactly what I got. All of the flavours we got were also very tasty. We were able to pick 3 with the deal that we got. Of the maple chipotle, dill parm, and all in dry rub, I received 1 votes for the dill parm, 2 for the maple chipotle and 1 for the dry rub being the favourites. The deal that we got also came with fries, garlic bread, and Caesar salad. When we were ordering we were made aware of another deal that they had that was the same price but with onion rings instead of salad. The salad was a good attempt at being healthy but there was a lot of sauce on it. The fries were extra salted and came with a side of gravy. I liked them but I could see it being a bit too much for other people. The garlic bread was topped with melted cheese making it even better than just normal garlic bread. The final verdict...well with more than 100 flavours I suppose I'll have to be back!

Teen Special - Creamy BBQ. Minus 2 wings, couldn't resist.

One of those places with a kazillion flavors, that serve chili fries or whatever you want to call them. Similar style and taste to others, but one thing I liked about Town Wings was their fast service whether its in person or delivery app. Wings are of a good size, flavors are there, and you don't feel bad after eating them cause its not overly greasy. Its fried wings you really can't go in depth its either good or bad this place is good and has been consistent for me. For the area, it's a great alternative to typical pub wings and Pizza joint wings. Would recommend. Creamy BBQ +1

Top: Mexican fries Bottom: teen deal (honey garlic wings and fries)

Good place to come for wings, cheap and affordable. Good portion sizes for the amount of food you get. I come here a lot since it's near the area, never a let down. Would recommend if you're wing lover.

Best neighborhood place for wings!!! I'd go as to say it's the best in TO!!! Orders the three pound deal with fries and onion rings. With this you get two choices for the sauce and there are over 50 to choose from. The price was a very reasonable $40. We had to wait a few minutes longer than normal but the owner was nice enough to put an extra order of town fries for free!!! They were fantastic! The wings, fries and onion rings were great!!! I forgot to take pictures before we started eat so all you get is the left overs. Give the place a try you'll love it!!!

We raved about our mutual love for all things wings (especially flats), and he suggested this place. He's a local, born and raised in Toronto, so I figured his opinion on the best wings had to be accurate. And boy was I right!!! Appropriately named, Crave Wings unlocked the key to my heart with the first bite! As I take a gulp-sized swallow to avoid drooling at the memory of the deliciousness I experienced here. Both the wings and fries were phenomenally yummy! I decided to dine inside because I wanted to experience everything fresh and hot! By the time I was finished, there was nothing left except bones and the container they came in. I look forward to going back, again and again. And AGAIN!!

You can expect very nice chicken wings from them. We…read moreordered Two Pair Platter, which includes 25 wings with 3 flavours. So we picked Kansas BBQ, Salt & Pepper and Garlic Cajun. I personally love dry rubs when it comes to wings. - Garlic Cajun: flavourful and crispy - Salt & Pepper: ordinary, nothing special - Kansas BBQ: tangy and slightly spicy Highly recommend Garlic Cajun and Kansas BBQ. Service was friendly despite they're always busy. They do takeouts mainly but there are about 20 seats for dine-in. On the left side of restaurant, you see a wall in yellow with their logo on. On the right side of the restaurant which is the table side, there are walls with different popular mangas, from One Piece to Naruto to Demon Slayer.

Greektown, The Danforth

Stopped by Wingstop after playing at a local park. Having heard much about Wingstop on social…read moremedia, my friends and I decided to check it out. Upon entering, the mix of greens, woods, and spacious seating was very inviting. However, the service was just decent. Now, let's talk about the food. I was disappointed with the size of the chicken wings compared to other places I've been to. The fries were okay but lacked a punch in flavour. As for the wings, I tried the BBQ bases, KBBQ, and Hickory Smoked BBQ. Despite being advertised with a bit of 'heat,' I could hardly taste any. The dipping sauce was also quite runny compared to the thicker consistency I prefer. Overall, I was a bit let down after all the hype on social media. Many say the U.S. locations are better. It doesn't hurt to try, but there are other wing places that I'd prefer.

The soft opening was 2022-11-17 and grand opening will be on 2022-11-26. On grand opening day, the first 100 customers will get a 6-piece wing combo (worth $14.99). There were 4 of us for dinner. We ordered the following (combos come with fries and a drink). Most wings come with a choice of 2 flavours (except the Tenders only have 1 flavour choice) ranging from not spicy up to 5 flames. 1. Tenders Combo ($12.99) with Honey Garlic. 2. Classic Wings Combo ($14.99) with Spicy Korean Q and Hawaiian. 3. Boneless Wings Combo ($14.99) with Hickory Smoked BBQ and Lemon Pepper. 4. Mixed Wings Combo ($14.99) with Mango Habanero and Louisiana Rub. 5. Cajun Fried Corn ($6.99). 6. Triple Chunk Brownie ($2.99) x 2. With the 4 combos, we chose the following fries and drinks: - Fries: regular, Cajun, parmesan, voodoo. - Drinks: Iced Tea, Root Beer, Fanta x 2. The wings are regular-sized, not the larger buffalo-sized. All the flavours we chose were delicious. We were surprised that the fries were full-sized with the combo, not a smaller amount that I would expect with a combo. I loved the voodoo fries. The 4 combos were more than enough for 4 of us; we had to take home the equivalent of 2 fries and 2 Brownies. The corn was nice - I could have eaten a lot more! I heated a Brownie in a microwave and it was delicious. The staff is so courteous and helpful. There is plenty of indoor seating. The restaurant is clean. The interior is tastefully decorated. I like the lit-up circular centerpiece saying "Danforth". There is no free WiFi (but there will be in the future). The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms but they are not wheelchair accessible. There are high chairs for young kids. There is paid and free neighbourhood parking. Review 2022-128

First time trying a cheesesteak sandwich and first visit to this spot…read more * Ill Styl3 Sammies is known for serving Toronto's best Philly Cheesesteak -- and after my visit, I can see why. * No parking available on site, but it is just a seven minute walk from Osgoode Station, making it great for commuters. * Only a few bar top seats inside, about three spots total. This is more of a grab and go setup. * No washrooms inside. * The owners are from Philly, which makes sense given how authentic the sandwiches are. * Steak is thinly sliced, cooked fresh on the flat top, topped with melted cheese, and finished with their house made hot sauce. * The menu is surprisingly large, and I am already planning to go back to try a few more sandwiches. * The owners are warm and love chatting with their customers -- the energy inside is friendly and relaxed. * Sandwiches are around fifteen to eighteen dollars and worth every bite. * Apple Pay available for quick checkout. * Located at 300 Richmond Street West, just a short walk from the subway.

Saw this place online and as a HUGE korean fried chicken fan, I had to check it out :)…read more Here's what I ordered: Golden lava platter for 1: 9.5/10 This tasted exactly how I wanted it to taste! A very strong, rich salted egg yolk flavour, with an extremely crispy breading. The seasoning reminded me so much of my favourite Irvin's salted egg yolk potato chips I get from Asian grocery stores. The chicken inside was juicy, opted for the bone-in chicken for both platters and it was definitely a good choice! Sweet as Platter for 1: Whenever I go to korean fried chicken spots I always have to get a sweet & spicy one as a benchmark! This one was pretty solid, good flavour and crispy. I ordered level 2/3 spice, next time I would pick 3 as it didn't have that much of a kick to me (I have a high spicey tolerance to be fair). Cheesy kimchi fried rice: 7.5/10 Great flavour, a bit on the greasy side though! Tempura shrimp: 8/10 Classic tempura, bouncy shrimp and fried well. This spot is halal, and sensory-friendly. They have a sensory room as well as sensory tools for those who need them. I also noticed that they had special ramadan deals going on. They also operate on a no tipping policy. I went on a Wednesday at 6PM, and while it wasn't too busy, I imagine that the place will fill up fast on weekends. This is one of my new favorite fried chicken spots, I'll be back for sure!
